Maya walked inside her apartment and was headed to her room, when a voice stopped her. "Can you tell me where you were all night?" Maya turned around and saw Shawn sitting on the couch chair, facing Maya. Maya thought that her mom told Shawn that she was hanging out with Chai. "Hey, Shawn. Didn't expect you to be up." Maya chuckled nervously. "Well I'm up because you didn't come back home last night! I also didn't know where you were at. " Katy knew but she decided best that you tell me. So what is it?" Shawn asked in anger, as well as mixture of concern. Maya realized that her mom didn't tell Shawn the whole truth, for she should be the one to tell him. Maya took a deep breath and explained everything once again. Shawn sat there and listened to what Maya told him.

After Maya finished telling Shawn the truth, Shawn got up and faced Maya. Maya had the same feeling when she told her mom everything. Then, Shawn hugged her tightly and Maya did the same, "Thank you Maya, for telling me the truth. Thank you for trusting me. I'm so proud of you Maya, and you'll always be my daughter no matter what!"

Once Maya heard that, tears started falling and the same went for Shawn. They let go of each other. Shawn ruffled Maya hair's and smiled. "You must be tried, go get some sleep." Maya nodded her head and Shawn looked at her with a proud smile and went his and Katy's room.

It was now time for the movies, and Maya was getting ready to pick up Chai so they can head to the movies. As Maya was getting ready, she couldn't help be a little scared that her friends will finally know that she has been hanging around with Chai. That's the reason she's been acting different.

Maya's phone dinged, signaling she received a text. She picked up her phone and saw she received two texts. One from Riley that said "Hey peaches, you don't have to pick me up, Farkle and Smackle decided to pick me up. I'll see you soon. Love you."

Maya smiled at Riley's text, and texted Riley back, "Hey honey, thanks for the heads up. I'll see you soon. I decided to invite a friend that I been hanging around with." Maya send the text, and received a reply. "Can't wait to meet your friend. Okay I'll tell  the rest that you went to pick up your friend.  We'll look for you inside the theatre. " Maya replied " I'll see you soon honey ❤️

Maya then checked her second text and saw that Chai texted. "Hey Maya, I'm ready for you to pick me up. You know it's not too late tell me that I can't go. It's okay that you don't want me to, I'll understand." Once Maya read Chai text her smile dropped and turned into a frown. Maya quickly texted back, "You're going Chai, I don't care if I have to drag you there. " I care about you and you became an important person in my life, and that doesn't happen often. Please come, for me!" Maya waited one minute and then received a reply text, "Okay, I'll come with you and I need to talk to Riley about freshman year, I want to make up with her."

Maya smiled at Chai's text, especially with Riley and Chai making up. "I'll be there in five minutes." Maya headed out of her room and saw her parents talking in the kitchen. "Hey mom and dad I'm heading out to pick up Chai so she can join the rest of us to the movies, and for them to finally know."

They both looked at Maya with a proud smile, "Everything will turn out fine, Maya. They're your friend's and they'll support your decisions and you becoming friends with Chai." Maya nodded with a smile on her face and headed out to pick up Chai.

Maya arrived to Chai's earlier than expected. Maya knocked she door and waited for one minute. Then, Chai opened the door. Maya smiled once she saw Chai. Chai did the same. They both stared at each other, "Hey." Maya said and Chai replied with, "Hey. So are we ready to head out?" Maya nodded and held out her hand. Chai smiled and held Maya's hand, and they walked to the movie theaters  with Maya telling Chai everything will be alright, as well as taking her mind off of it.

Maya and Chai walked inside the movie theatres searching for Maya's friends. The clique as well were trying to find Maya. Riley was about to call Maya when she noticed something that shocked her and also made her jealous for some strange reason. It was Maya and Chai holding hands and smiling at each other every few seconds.

Riley grew a little bit more jealous but pushed that feeling away. The rest of the friends noticed Riley's expression and following her gaze and shocked them the same way. Riley and Farkle were the first to snap out of it and walked toward Maya and Chai.

The appearance of Riley and Farkle surprised Maya. As Maya was about to say hi to them, Farkle spoke up first, "Maya what the hell are you doing holding hands with her? Wait is she the friend you been hanging out? The one you told Riley you were bring? " Farkle asked in an angrily tone. The rest of her friends showed up and had confused expressions but Lucas and Farkle were the only mad ones. Riley just toned them out and only stared at their intertwined hands. Maya and Riley always hold hands, so why is Maya holding hands with her?

She then noticed everyone's expression, but more practically Chai who was staring at the ground with a guilty expression, and Maya with angry expression directed at Farkle and Lucas. Riley decided she needed to stop this, so she put herself in the middle, "Okay, guys you need to stop and take a deep breath, and let Maya explain!" Riley told specifically at Maya, Farkle, and Lucas.

Riley then held Maya's other and gave her a reassuring smile, which Maya returned. It caused Riley to blush, which two people noticed. " Okay, after we told each other our sexualities and I left Topanga's, I bumped into Chai, and she asked me if I wanted to grab a bite with her, and I said yes. then went to Night Hawk Diner to eat, and we stayed up all night. That's why I didn't show up to dinner and I had the same clothes on from yesterday, and my mom yelled at me because I didn't tell her, and why I dragged my mom outside so I can tell her everything. "

Everyone listened to what Maya said, and Lucas spoke up, "Maya I'm sorry we overreacted, but have you forgotten that Chai disliked Riley for no reason?" Farkle then continued, "Don't you remember how Riley reacted to what she said?" Farkle gave Chai an angry look as he and Lucas explained their reasons.

Maya stared at them, and then stared at Riley. "I'm sorry I lied to you Riley, and I understand that your mad at me. I don't blame you one bit." Maya then looked at the rest of her friends as well."I know all you must be feeling betrayed because I did this, but you feel the most betrayed of all, Riley. I know Chai hurt your feelings, but have you all forgotten what Mr. Matthews taught us in eighth grade? "

Maya let go of Chai's hand and held Riley's tighter, and they both smiled. Riley leaned in kissed Maya's cheek and they both blushed, which made Riley feel satisfied and answered Maya's question. "People change People. The secret of life." 

Maya nodded, "Lucas you changed from the person you were back in Texas, because you had us. Remember when I stopped you from beating up Billy?" Lucas nodded, "You stopped me from beating up Billy, even though he was bullying Farkle. If I did beat up Billy I would be no different then he was."

Maya smiled. "Chai changed, she's not the same person from freshman year. If huckleberry can change, then why can't Chai?" They all looked at each other and faced Chai, and said at the same time, "We forgive you." They all went up to Chai and hugged her and Chai smiled.

They let go and Chai decided it was time for them to know why she didn't like Riley, "Riley, I'm going to tell you the reason why I hated you, and it's a selfish reason." Maya, Farkle, Zay, Smackle, and Lucas were going to let the two talk in private, but Riley told them they should stay. Maya and Riley both looked at each other and Maya gave Riley a reassuring smile. "The reason why I didn't like you, is a selfish reason, and I'll understand if all you wouldn't want to be friends with me."

Chai looked Riley straight in the eye, "I was jealous of you. I heard about you and your friends, and how you all cared about each other. Especially you and Maya, even when you were stuck in triangle. You didn't let that get in the way, and even though you offered to be my friend, I couldn't because I felt that you feel sorry for me. I know this is a stupid reason to dislike you. I'm sorry."

Riley smiled and said, "It's okay, I forgive you, and it's not a stupid reason why you hated me, but I'm glad were all friends." Chai and Riley hugged and everyone smiled because what happened to them in freshman year is all forgotten and forgiven. The group headed to buy their tickets.

Chai looked Maya and said " Thank you, Maya, for doing all this, and Riley thank you for forgiving me." The three smiled at each other and Chai followed the rest of the group.

Maya and Riley stayed where they were at and Riley told Maya, "I'm proud of you peaches, you saw the best of Chai and showed the rest of that she's changed, and you're the reason why. Looks like I been rubbing off on you." Riley smiled and Maya chuckled, "Well you are my good influence, as well as my best friend."

Maya kissed Riley on the cheek and she pulled away smiling with Riley blushing. Riley looked at Maya and started leaning towards her, Maya seeing this didn't know what to do so she stayed still. As Riley was leaning closer, a small part of Maya wanted Riley to kiss her so she leaned forward as well. Riley and Maya were one centimeter away from kissing then Zay called for Maya and Riley to hurry up.

Maya and Riley pulled apart and both were blushing, for they almost kissed. Maya held out her hand and Riley smiled and held Maya's hand, and they both walked to buy their tickets. The group decided to watch the Ouija: Origin of Evil even though Riley protested against it, but she stopped once Maya told her "If you get scared just put your head on my shoulder and cover your eyes, and I'll tell you when its okay to look." Riley nodded and they both smiled at each other.

The movie went as expected; it was scary which basically made Riley hide under Maya shoulder through the whole movie but Maya didn't care one bit. Luckily, they managed to stop Farkle from spoiling the movie. The movie ended and the friends all exited out. Maya was still hugging Riley, for she was still scared.

Riley looked up at Maya with a puppy dog face, "Peaches, will you sleep over? I'm scared and I don't want to be alone." Riley asked Maya in a whisper tone. Maya kissed Riley on the cheek and smiled. "Whatever you want." They both stared at each other:x eyes, and Maya remembered that she needed to walk Chai. Maya faced Chai, and Riley realized that Maya was perhaps going to walk chai back home.

"Maya, you can walk Chai back home. Farkle can walk me back to my apartment and I'll see you there." Maya was about to protest but she saw the look on Riley's face, and smiled at riley and nodded her head. "Whatever you want." Maya kissed Riley on the cheek and let go of her hands, and Maya and Chai walked out together.

The two finally arrived outside Chai's house and they were saying goodnight to each other. "Thanks Maya I had a lot of fun, and thank you for defending me and showing your friends I changed," Chai told Maya with a thankful tone. Maya nodded her head, "No problem Chai, also my friends and I care deeply about my friends and I'll always be there for you."

They both smiled and in that moment Chai leaned in and kissed Maya on the lips. Maya was startled, for she did not expect her and Chai to kiss. This was Maya first kiss and it was with Chai. Maya then kissed Chai back and it lasted for fifty seconds. They pulled apart and Maya was about to ask Chai about the kiss. Chai kissed her one more time for ten seconds and ran inside her house leaving Maya with a clueless face and strange feelings inside. She then headed to her house to change out of her clothes and into her pjs and headed towards Riley's apartment.

Maya climbed the fire escape and entered inside riley room. Maya sat on Riley's bed and saw Riley exist out of the bathroom. Riley noticed Maya and ran to her. "Peaches, your back!" They both hugged each other tightly and they sat next to each other on the bay window.

Riley decided they should watch "Red Planet Diaries" on her laptop to get her mind off the movie, and so they watched it. Riley and Maya would stare at each other when they weren't looking. Riley then closed the laptop and sat it beside her and faced Maya, "Hey honey, is everything good?" Maya asked in a worried tone.

"Maya I know we're best friends and I understand if you say no to what I'm about to ask you." Riley rambled on to Maya. "Riley can you just tell me already?!" Maya asked riley. "Can I kiss you Maya?" Maya was shocked from what Riley asked her. "Maya I figured out that I'm bisexual and I know somewhere along the future I will probably kiss a girl. But I want you to be the first girl I kiss. Peaches, I can't imagine a world without you! Because my world needs you in it! I want you to be my first kiss peaches!"

Riley smiled and Maya chuckled, "Well you are my good influence, as well as my best friend, and my extraordinary relationship." They both smiled at each other and Riley blushed when Maya said that because that's the same thing that Riley said to Maya. Maya kissed Riley on the cheek and when she pulled away smiling with Riley blushing.

Riley stared at Maya ocean blue eyes and started leaning towards her. Maya seeing this, decided to stay still. As Riley was leaning closer Maya wanted Riley to kiss her so she leaned forward as well and their lips connected. Riley and Maya were both blushing. Maya then responded to the kiss, and as they kissed Riley never wanted the kiss to end. They kissed for two minutes and broke apart. They stared at each other, and Maya smiled at Riley, she then kissed Riley on the lips once again and Riley kissed back, not wanting the kiss to ever end!!!

Riley and Maya were supposed to kiss in the theaters which would have made Maya first kiss be with Riley but I decided against it!
