Jealousy ~ 2
When Hoseok and I finally made it home, I was pooped. Today was a lot to take in and it was only the first day.
"How did it go? Were your classes okay?" Hoseok asks after we've both gotten situated to relax on the couch.
"They were fine." I say vaguely, my classes being the last thing I cared about. I couldn't shake the annoyed feeling I had over what happened with Nao.
Of course I trusted Hoseok and I knew nothing would happen, but I couldn't help but to feel jealous over how eager and happy she seemed about it all. I was probably just overreacting but still, I was annoyed.
"Are you alright? Did something happen?" Hoseok asks, a frown taking over his features as he noticed right away my being upset.
Not wanting to beat around the bush, I get straight to the point.
"Does Nao like you? Were you guys close in middle school?" Hoseok stares as me taken back for a moment.
"Of course not. We were just friends and even then I don't know if I'd call it that. We talked occasionally and were class partners sometimes. There's no way she likes me, she barely knows me." Hoseok says.
"What gave you that idea?" Hoseok asks, frowning. "I don't know...she just seemed overly eager today when she saw you and I don't know...I'm being crazy." I say but Hoseok doesn't seem phased at all.
"Were you jealous? You have no reason to be, I promise. You know I love you." Hoseok says as he takes my face in his hands and kisses me softly.
When he pulls back he grabs my hands and squeezes. "You got that? So don't go overthinking anything because I promise you, there's nothing to even think about." He says and I nod slowly, believing him.
Like I said, I trust Hoseok. So if he says it's nothing then it's nothing. I'm just being a jealous girlfriend over nothing. What can I say, love will do that to ya.
"Good, now tell me all about your day. I've been dying to hear it." He smiles as he pulls me into his chest.
I rest my head there as I tell him all about how my first day went. Telling him how great my second class was today and how crazy it all was.
Of course he told me all about his classes too, even the one with Nao. Thankfully, he didn't mention her talking to him although I'm sure she did. I would just have to let that go and not be crazy for once.
Although I do have to say, me not being crazy would be tough. I mean hello, have you met me?
The rest of the night Hoseok and I went over our schedules, planning times for us to be able to spend time together when we didn't have classes and between them.
We wanted to make sure we didn't get too caught up in school that we didn't spend quality time together because that was also very important.
Our schedules for tomorrow were a bit conflicting but we would make it work.
Hoseok has three classes tomorrow while I only have one. What can I say, I'm an underachiever.
Luckily we found a way to make it work. Since my class was in the morning, I'd have the whole rest of the day to do whatever.
Hoseok should be done with his classes by at the latest, 6pm so when he gets home we can make dinner and end the night with a movie or something.
Either way, we'd make the time for each other. That was just one of the many things I loved about our relationship.
It was just so perfect and it worked for us. I couldn't be happier.
Everything was perfect.

When the next day rolled around, I headed to my morning class where to my surprise, I saw one of Hoseok's friends.
I walked over to him and took a seat, getting his attention.
"Yoongi, hi! I didn't think I'd see you here." I say and right away he looks surprised but happy nonetheless.
"Oh wow, me neither. It's nice to know someone." He says as he looks around the room where I too only identify strangers.
"Yeah definitely. We can be partners if ever need be." I say and Yoongi chuckles as he agrees.
As the professor begins his lesson, Yoongi and I focus in on his teachings. Before we knew it, class was over.
"You only had this class today, right?" Yoongi asks as we're making our way out of class and onto campus.
"Yup, thankfully. You?" I ask and Yoongi frowns instantly. "Sadly I have one more for the day. Will you be able to get home alright? Hoseok will kill me if he knew I let you leave alone if you didn't have a way back." I smiled at that.
"I'll be good, thanks. I'll take the train. That's how I got here." I laugh. "Alright good. I'll see you around then." Yoongi says then heads off.
Once I'm alone, I make my way back home, ready to relax for the rest of the day.
I was looking forward to Hoseok coming home so that we could hang out and spend the rest of our time together.
With that in mind, I got home and changed into some comfortable clothes. I then made lunch and plopped down on the couch to watch some tv.
Once that got boring I did some homework then took a nap.
By time I woke up it was around 5:50, just in time for Hoseok coming home.
I was super excited of course, so I grabbed me phone to text Hoseok to see exactly what we should do when he got home.
Just as I was about to send a text, one came through.
J- I'm gonna be a little later then I thought, I hope that's okay. Nao needed a ride home so I offered. I'll be home soon, I promise! Love you!
I grit my teeth as read the text over and over again. I only felt one thing.
Jealousy.
