During the date, Taehyung talked about starting as an intern at the same company where Jin works and how he was so excited. You could see he was. Truly. You assumed that Taehyung likes meeting people and being around them gives him energy. He has a lot of friends and, sometimes, it surprises you that some of the people you know are also connected to him at some point. The whole date was carefree and fun. You watched a movie and then went to eat somewhere new. It was the type of date you've always imagined and Taehyung made all the efforts to impress you. He complimented you from time to time but he was also conscious of not burdening you with praises.

"You seriously suck at this." Taehyung laughed, standing behind you. He casually places his hands on your waist before moving up on your arms to guide you into a shooting position and you're awfully aware of how his chest presses against your back.

"You don't really need to jump. You'll just tire yourself out." A low chuckle reverberated from his chest. "Okay so the trick here is keeping your elbows bent and using your wrist." He takes your hand and shows you how to shoot the ball into the basket but it still didn't go in. Taehyung chuckled, "Guess you still need a lot of practice."

"Says the expert on arcade basketball games." You playfully rolled your eyes at him and then laughed.

"I practically lived in the arcade when I was younger so I guess you can address me as an expert," He cockily answered before showing you a grin and latching his arm around your shoulder, "Come on, let's go eat. I'm starving."

Taehyung suggested that you go to a pub where his friend works at. You gave him a doubtful look as you've never been to a pub before. "I swear this pub has the chillest vibe in town. It's nothing like those ones where old guys drink beer."

I was somehow convinced by Taehyung even though I don't like drinking beer. The taste just doesn't get along with me. We sat side by side with his arm comfortably resting on the back of booth's sofa as he nestle a mug of beer in the other, "So tell me, who did you inherit your gorgeous looks from?"

You were about to drink the juice you ordered but had to stop midway to laugh, "Sorry. I just think it's funny and cheesy and very typical player lines."

"Point taken, but I'm serious. You are gorgeous." He stared at me then a smile stretched along his face. You must've looked so flustered. "I could tell that you're not used to receiving compliments."

"It's just awkward but thanks." You smiled at him.

Taehyung chuckled as he kept his eyes on you. He wet his lips and nibbled on his lower lip, something he does out of habit. "I really enjoyed today. I've never laughed this much when I went on a date before."

"Don't fall in love with me now." You jested with a big smile but the look on Taehyung's eyes scared you. Maybe he really is falling in love with you. That's not good.

"Fall in love?" Taehyung tilts his head back while laughing. He didn't find it funny at all, instead he thought you might be right. "I've never fallen in love, Y/N. Not on the second date, not on the third date and definitely not when I take them to bed."

"Wow, okay, Taehyung." You were flustered by what he said and the way he looked at you as if he wants to eat you up. "That was totally TMI."

" I was just saying. I've never experienced it." Taehyung lightens up and his smile returned. "And you? Have you ever fallen in love?"

"No."

"That was a quick answer." Taehyung chuckled and watched you drink.

"I've been in relationships too but never been in love. It all didn't last long enough but I'm glad I wasn't stupid enough to fall in love." You said, raising your glass for a toast. "To not falling in love."

Taehyung reciprocated your smile, raising his glass to yours. "To not falling in love."

The following day, you went on your daily life like usual. You went to attend your classes, sat quietly in class and jot down important notes, dates to remember, requirements, and all that. Today you only have three classes and you just finished the last one so you head for the library to research on something before you go home. While climbing up the stairs, you received a message on your phone from your mom, telling you to come home during the weekend and help with the move. Your dad got transferred back to your old hometown and that means you're moving back to your old home which was good because you have a lot of memories there. Then your mind drifted to that particular person.

"Y/N."

You snapped out of your thoughts and was faced by your friend, Sara. She wasn't working in the library today as you've guessed because she wasn't pushing around a cart of books. "Hey, how was the date? You have to tell me."

"Um, it was okay." Was your bland reply and it didn't make her happy.

"Okay? You went on a date with Taehyung and it was just okay?" She made sure to emphasize on the last part which made your eyes roll.

"I don't really get this hype about Taehyung. He's just a normal guy." You tell her and convinced her somehow.

"I guess. Maybe people are just over exaggerating." She spoke, shrugging her shoulders then she refocused the conversation on the date again. "Did he ask you for a second date? You rejected him. You did, didn't you?"

"No." You chuckled at her facial expressions. "He didn't ask."

Sara wore a frown and a confused expression. "Why not? You're pretty and smart. Why wouldn't he ask you out again?"

"What do you mean why not? Sometimes people just don't click. No matter how pretty or smart they are. If they don't like each other, they just don't." You chuckled at her. You don't believe at this whole love at first sight crap. It doesn't make sense. People need to get to know each other in order to fall in love. "I have to get home. I'm going back home for the weekend. Bye."

Seokjin just came out from a meeting with the producers of other programs and man, was he tired of listening to the same boring concepts. He was on his way to his office when he found Taehyung in the break room talking to the girl who was in charge of the office supplies. Taehyung looked like he was flirting with her and she was glowing from his compliments then Jin remembered that you went out on a date with his friend, the same exact one flirting with someone else.

Jin headed for the break room too. Not to question the guy. He needed coffee. "Hey, Tae."

"Oh, Hi hyung. Meeting's over?" Taehyung diverted his eyes away from the girl. The girl took her cup of tea and went back to her cubicle by the end of the hall.

"Yeah. It was pretty boring." Jin replied, stretching the muscles around his neck and shoulders and rubbing on that sore spot that's been bugging him for the past few days. "How was the date with Y/N?"

It felt good to say your name. He has been itching to see you again but he didn't know how. Your encounters only happen whenever you called him and these days, it's like you disappeared from the face of the earth.

"Did I tell you about that?" Taehyung thought for a second and then shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah, well, it was okay. Y/N is a great girl. She's easy going and—"

"You don't like her." Jin finished his sentence for him. He knows that Taehyung isn't looking for a relationship and you, you're too good for Taehyung.

Taehyung knows that. He's good at reading people and he's quick to catch on. "I mean, there was something but I could tell she's not interested."

Jin nodded his head in acknowledgment. He was happy he didn't have to worry about Taehyung. Jin brought the cup of coffee he made close to his lips, still piping hot as he felt it's warmth near his mouth, threatening to burn so he waited.

"CRAJI FOR MYSELF!!"

Jimin popped his head into the break room, out of nowhere, and made Jin spill the coffee on his dress shirt and neck tie, ruining it all the way down. He hissed from the burn and cursed under his breath. Quickly, grabbing the tissues, he dabbed it on the stains. "Someone fire him."

Taehyung laughed at him, "That won't make any difference. Just change your shirt."

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry hyung!!" Jimin grabbed himself some tissues too and wanted to help but Jin slapped his hand away.

"Give me your shirt." Jin told Jimin, more like commanded him as he threw the tissues into the bin and eyed the younger's shirt with disdain. "It's ugly but that'll do. Take it off."

Jimin crossed his hands over his chest, protecting his body from Jin's predatory glare. "Please don't.. My body is a temple."

"Just hand it over, Jimin." Taehyung advised his friend who works in the Entertainment Department. "Borrow a shirt from those idols. I'm sure you have a lot of stylists you are close buddies with."

"Oh please, Taehyung. Are you still jealous that I was invited to a dinner by Twice's stylists?" Jimin commented, "It's not my fault that you weren't invited."

"As if I'd be jealous over something that petty." Taehyung scoffed in response to Jimin's taunt.

They seemed like they would glare at each other for hours so Jin decided to step in, "I don't have time for this. I need to look over the set up of the stages during the rehearsals. Jimin, take off your shirt."

Jimin blatantly refused to give me his shirt so I had no choice but to go to the only person who I know would have a set of extra clothes. I knocked twice on his open office door, making him lift up his head from the files he was reviewing. "Mr. Kim Namjoon.

"Yes, Mr. Kim Seokjin, how may I help you?" He smiled but frowned immediately the moment he noticed the huge, brown stain all over my clothes. "Do you drink coffee with your shirt now?"

I released a sigh. "Some idiot jumped out of nowhere and made me spill coffee all over myself. Do you have an extra shirt I can use?"

"You know, as an HR employee, I may need to remind you about looking presentable in the workplace." Namjoon re-arranges the things on his desk again. He leans forward on his elbows, raising one brow. "And yes, I have an extra shirt. What will you give me for it?"

"I'll give you a kiss." I sent him a flying kiss followed by a wink.

"Damn it, Seokjin. Don't ruin my day." Namjoon retorted, "People already think we're gay for each other."

"So what?" I shrugged my shoulders. I don't really care what people think. "Maybe we are."

"My dick doesn't like you." Namjoon answered back and threw his extra shirt at me. "There. Just go and don't come back again."
