Mark retracts from the hug and gives him a small smile before turning to Jaebum.

"Small break then record?" He asks.

Jaebum nods and takes off the headphones.

Jackson sits down on the bench that was in the studio, Mark walking to sit right next to him.

(A/N: Ok so i dont know how to do small talk so obviously i wont be able to write, so dont mind it😂)

"How was your day?" Mark asked in his limited chinese.

Jaebum immediately turned to them offended, "Hey, hey. No chinese. I can't understand."

Both boys ignored him.

"Literally this day could go down as the best day of my life," Jackson laughed.

Jaebum 'hmphed', "Fine, I'll just texted Youngjae then."

"This is a pretty amazing day if I do say so myself," Mark replied.

Jackson internally squealed inside.

"Honestly from the bottom of my heart, I am so grateful for this opportunity and just thank you so much for allowing me to do this," Jackson said in English this time to make sure Mark understood.

Mark's eyes lit up, "Of course! How could I not with your talent? It would be a shame if nobody heard you. It's just a bonus that you're my fan," he giggled.

Jaebum rolled his eyes, "Are you guys done flirting?"

Mark and Jackson made eye contact and immediately looked away.

"Pft we were not flirting Jae, what are you talking about," Jackson spluttered out.

Jaebum just gave him a knowing smirk.

"Yeah, yeah. Let's start recording."

Jackson took a sip of water and nodded to what Jaebum told him.

Mark pressed on the button to allow his voice to be heard in the recording room, "And no pressure alright? We can always retake it to perfect it."

Jackson nodded.

Jackson nodded and drank some more water.

He waited for Jaebum's count.

Jaebum clapped, "That was great, you can get out of there now Jacks."

Jackson smiled widely, satisfied with himself that he was able to record in only two takes.

"You're actually a way better rapper than me," Mark giggled.

Jackson immediately refused.

"Definitely not! You're absolutely so talented and I wish to be as amazing at rapping as you are!"

Mark shook his head, "You don't have too, you already are."

"No-"

Jaebum groaned in frustration.
