Being married to the love of my life is amazing. I'm so glad that I made her my wife. Although, seeing her in the kitchen now finishing breakfast with elys was a moment I couldn't lose. I took out my phone am recorded it all.

I saved it to my private storage and admired my two beautiful girls. Then my phone dinged. I checked it and it was an email from cps. They retrieved the documents for elys. They also said that they will stop by our house to check out the living environment that she has been in with us lately.

I honestly would and will do anything to keep this baby girl in our lives, even if it means going COMPLETELY BROKE. I don't care. Back to the point, c.p.s is coming and I want everything to go well.

"Love, cps is on its way in maybe hours or minutes to check on elys."

"To see of we can keep her."

"Exactly and to see the living conditions. Plus we will need to sign some papers of authorization."

My god how I adored this girl. I, on the sly have recently changed into one of my signature outfits.

I walk back down the steps to see a smirking Moní at the counter.

There was a knock on the door, so I looked at Moní and went to open it. I opened the door and saw the cps lady.

"Ms. Lisa."

"Hello Mr. an Mrs. Giovanni, I assume you both know why I'm here today."

"Yes, this is my wife Moní." They shook hands and she focused on elys.

"Ok little lady, 'wanna show me to your room dear."

"Otay, fallow me."

Lisa followed behind elys as she went to go see her princess room. I prayed an held onto Monís hands. She looked at me and smiled.

"Blake, we gone get through this ok."

"I just don't want her to go."

"Neither do I, just let Lisa do her job ok baby."

After about an hour the both headed back downstairs. Elys ran to me an I picked her up. She played with my hair an I kissed her cheek.

Moní was ready to get this over with and get Lisa, out of this house and by the look on her face, I could tell that Lisa was giving her a bad vibe of some sort.

Moní, Lisa, and I all sat at the table. I had elys on my lap playing girly games on my phone. An for a 3year old she sure is smart.

"Ok Mrs. An Mr. Giovanni let's begin. Elys background is this." Handing me a piece of paper.

We signed the paper, an Moní went to copy it, she copied it twice to be exact. She handed a printed copy to Lisa in a laminate folder.

"Congratulations Mr. An Mrs. Giovanni on your adoption on elys manore Giovanni."

"Your so welcome, have a nice day."

Once she left I spun elys around and kissed her on her face.

We all laughed and had a good moment. I for one had to go to work unfortunately. I walked up to Moní and kissed her.

"Aww daddy wuvs mommy."

"Daddy loves mommey very very much."

"Elys baby, I love you and your mommy equally."

"Moní, I'm sad to say this but unfortunately, I have to go to work."

"Do you mind if I take elys with me so you can take a day off and relax."

Moní grabbed her purse an belongings. I kissed her bye and we went our separate ways. She took the hummer.

An I took the Rolls Royce.

I took elys's car seat and strapped it in the back. I placed her inside along with her backpack that had her items in it, once elys is strapped in, I get in the drivers seat and head off to work with my baby girl in hand.

Once I arrive to work I parked and got elys out. The back. We walked hand in hand as we headed to my office. As I walked inside, I got met with so many pairs of eyes.

It was like they have never seen a white guy with a black child before. It made me uneasy but I kept on walking to my office, I had much needed work that to be tended to.

I head into my office and place a sleepy elys into her hammock.

I got the hammock placed in because one day I planned on using it for my future child and today is the day that I felt obligated to use it.

Once she felt situated I placed her princess blanket over her body an her bear in her tiny arms. I kissed her forehead and walled back to my desk, I pressed play to some soft music, I choose golden slumbers by Jenifer Hudson.

As soon as it began playing, I had a knock on my door. I buzzed in the person an it turned out to be my parents. They looked over in the corner and saw elys sleeping soundly.

I shushed them softly and told then to sit in the chairs. I added that they can talk normally, just don't get to loud. They nodded.

"How's married life blake."

"It is good. I'm content, happy, and full of life."

"I see elys has you wrPpednaround her tiny little finger."

"You've talked to cps, correct."

"Great."

"As of now, since I looked over her records, files, and documentsbthat she has no family at all that it lunked to her. With that being said, you mum an dad are her only grandparents."

"On my gosh honey, we finallybhave our grandbaby." My mother said that a bit to loud annit shook elys up a bit.

She stirred and they got quiet, they looked her and then me. I got up an grabbed her sippy pink cup, I pulled up a chair an told her a story Bout the beauty and the beast.

We to got to the beast part she gasped with tired eyes, as soon as I said the end I kissed her head and tucked her back in. I slightly pushed the hammock so it was a steady pace. I'm so ready for a baby.
