Ginny's P.O.V
     I couldn't believe Ron did that! He asked Fleur Delacour to the Yule Ball! I wish I could go. I'm only a third year. Harry walked in and my heart fluttered. I have to get over this stupid crush!!
     "What happened?" Harry asked seeing Ron.
      I couldn't stop myself from a little giggle. "He just asked Fleur Delacour to the ball!!" Harry laughed and then stopped as Ron shot him a glare.
      "How'd it go with Cho?" Ron asked.
     Oh right. Harry likes Cho.
     Harry's face fell. "She already has a date, with Cedric. Now I have no idea who I'm going with." Harry said.
     "Your not the only one. I heard Neville asked Hermione! She turned him down saying she had a date. I'm sure that was just an excuse though!" Harry and Ron laughed.
     "No! Hermione does have a date!!" I insisted.
     Ron took a breath and asked,
      "Yeah? With who?"
     "I'm not telling." I said. Hermione wanted no one to know who she was going with. Especially Ron.
     They started cracking up again and Hermione walked down from her dormitory.
     "Why are they laughing?" She asked.
     "Because- shut it you two! Because they both just got turned down for the dance!!" I exclaimed over their laughter. It ceased as I said that and Ron said,
      "Hermione, your a girl!"
  I face palmed as Hermione replied with,
     "Well spotted." The venom was clear in her voice.
     "Will you go to the dance with me?" Ron asked.
     "No! Someone already asked me and, I happened to say yes!" She exclaimed and left the common room.
     "When will she give up the bloody act?" Ron said.
     "She not acting!! She actually has a date and no, Ronald, I will not tell you with who!!" I exclaimed.
     "Fine! Ginny, you go with Harry and I'll find someone else." Ron said and got up. He walked over to Lavender and Parvati. My heart was pounding as Harry asked,
     "So, Gin, do you want to go to the ball with me?"
     I smiled and said,
       "Of course Harry. I would love to!" He gave me a hug and I, feeling daring, gave him a swift kiss on the cheek. He then left for his dorm, one hand on the cheek where I kissed him.
      I walked up to my dorm and flopped down on the bed. I screamed into the pillow and ran to the Great Hall where Hermione was having dinner.
      "Oh. My. God!! Harry just asked me to the Yule Ball!!" I told her. Hermione really helped me get somewhat over my crush on Harry.
      Hermione gave me a big hug,
    "That's great Ginny!! I'm so happy for you!"

Harry's P.O.V of the events that just   
occurred.
      I walked into the common room and saw Ron in a little ball with Ginny trying to soothe him. My stomach did a somersault. I had developed a small crush for Ginny over the summer. I really wanted to ask her to the Ball, but I was afraid of what Ron would do.
      "What happened?" I asked.
     Ginny giggled and I loved it when she laughed. Her whole face lit up.
      "He just asked Fleur Delacour to the ball!!"
     I laughed and quickly stopped when Ron sent a glare in my direction.
      "How'd it go with Cho?" Ron asked.
     I let my face fall as I saw Ginny's darken a little.
     "She already has a date, with Cedric. Now I have no idea who I'm going with." I replied pretending to be upset. Honestly I'm a little glad.
          "Your not the only one. I heard Neville asked Hermione! She turned him down saying she had a date. I'm sure that was just an excuse though!" I laughed with Ron and Ginny spoke up,

     She smiled and I prayed she would say yes. She said,
       "Of course Harry. I would love to!" I was overjoyed. I gave her a big hug and she kissed me on my cheek. She kissed me on my cheek!!
     I turned away from her and put a hand on my cheek. When I got to the top, I sat on my bed, shocked.
     Ron was up there and he asked,
       "So are you going with Ginny? If so, you hurt her, I kill you, got it?" I smiled and said,
     "I promise. I would never."
