44: I should upload what I show Discord..(Glass dip pens, other things)

I really should upload the things that I show on Discord more often..  (Glass dip pens and other wholesome things.)

..And WP should allow us to make titles longer than 80 characters, because I had to cut it down a LOT.

*Firm nod*

The new babies!

Top: Ultra-luxurious J. Herbin glass dip pen.  (About as much as I was willing to pay.)  💀

Middle two: The new ones.

Last two: Random generic, but very good quality, as well.  XD

Cropping photos means WP doesn't create a fuss anymore upon upload, but OH!  THE QUALITY IS DIMISHED!!!  *Woefully dramatic wailing commences*

Ignore the random yarn on the left, I'm sort of mid-project.

..Well, it's an on-and-off thing that I work on whenever I'm in my room in the evening and don't quite feel like sleeping yet, so sometimes I progress a lot.  XD

Um, let's see..

-Journal under the yarn, which I've tried and failed to use more often.  (Which I haven't written in since last Summer, mainly because I keep forgetting to do so.  I don't know how some ppl manage to be allowed the time to write in one every day, but good for you if you do!)  👍

-A couple of water brushes, (and yes, I'm obsessed with the effects that I can create with them) great for blending ink colors together.  (The top pen-like thing in the tray, the other's in the vase for no particular reason.)  🤷‍♀️

-Ink pen (dark blue) underneath the water brush in the tray.

-A couple of things which I use as inkwells, but are most probably candle holders in a previous life.  😂

-A fancy cork jar.  (Please read in a posh Bri'ish accent, I know that I did.)

-A ceramic pen/pencil rest.

-An ink syringe.  I SWEAR THAT'S WHAT IT IS-

-A cute little porcelain tray.

Fancy big jar has lengths of colorful ribbons inside of it.

*Steals Master Wu's favorite white tea*

*Takes sip*

Hmm, it's very good!

..Anyway, the teapot shaped thing is for tea stuff.  Namely, to have a place to ditch your teabag while you work.

The thing on it is: Drumroll, please!

..Yet another ink receptacle.  ;)

Still working on this.  I want to add some more details, maybe blend in a few more colors.  (The glitter ink doesn't really show up in this picture, so hopefully when it's complete, I'll take a better photo when the sun's actually working with me, not against me.)  TvT

Cropping certainly doesn't help the detail work.  💀

Made entirely with fountain pen inks, a glass dip pen, and blended with water brushes.

Dynamic photo of ✨STUFF!✨

Kitty hook.  Would've bought it in blue at the time to match my theme, but I liked the pink one's expression better.

So ✨TADAH!✨

..It's pink.

No, I didn't piece that quilt.  It was a pre-printed thing, and I just used it to experiment with machine stitching to see if I would like doing it.  (This was back when I started getting into quilting.  So a few years ago now..)

But I'm displaying it there for now until I make one better suited to that area.  Heh.

THAT CYCLAMEN JUST WON'T DIE.  DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY WINTERS AND NEAR-DEATHS (FROM OTHER MEMBERS OF MY FAMILY) THAT POOR THING HAS SURVIVED?!  (That's why it's kind of leggy.  I've taken it into custody since.)

IT'S MINE NOW!

AHAHAHA!

It was so dark by the time I took this.  😑

More random bits and pieces.

Updated personal collection of DVDs.  XD

(Yes, I watch Precure.)

Er, I mean, I play it for our budgerigar because he likes screaming along to the theme songs and transformation sequences.  YEAH, THAT'S IT-  (I mean, that's exactly what he does, so..)

Yes, we watch those together.  That's what we do the rare times we're alone in the house.

..That, and we sing anime song karaoke.

DON'T JUDGE ME-

WAIT, SINCE WHEN COULD I DO THAT?!!

Anyway, continuing on.

Highly recommended WW2 based series.  👆

(You think I'm joking..)

But that aside, still one of the most amazing series I've ever read, so do give that a try if you don't mind the occasional graphic description of m*rd*r, and children making a habit of burning their enemies to d**th in massive forest fires.

*Awkward cough*

Whoever said that children's books were boring?

Not me.

AHAHAHAHAAAA!!!  I HAVE THEM ALLLLLL!!!

LOCKWOOD AND CO!!!

ALL FIVE BOOKS!  YAAASSS!

And other stuff, Hungarian and English books and (graphic) novels.

AND NO, NOT THAT KIND OF GRAPHIC NOVEL-

Managed to sew two full rounds of logs around the cabins.  XD

I'll give them a once over with the iron once all the block piecing is done.  That way, I avoid distorting the finished blocks.  I just give them a rough finger press until then, and it works well.

Two more rounds of logs to go, sew on a border, add a backing, and hey, presto!

I'll have a set of mug and teapot rugs for when I sneak my tea up to my room!

(Got to keep my desk safe from stains.  These will be easier to wash than to try and stick my desk in the washer, y'know.)  😁

(If you're detecting a distinct blue and white theme, you're definitely not wrong there!)  🤭🤣

SO WHY MAKE FOUR, WHEN I PROBABLY ONLY NEED TWO?!

..Forethought.  😉

And yes, I've been collecting porcelain-style blues and whites for a while now for just such an occasion.

And then I'll make a matching mini quilt, and other random items whenever I feel like it/need something.  XD

Jay, about Nya: Can I tell her that she looks nice?
Cole: Sure.
Jay: Can I tell her that I respect her?
Cole: Maybe, if she asks.
Jay: Should I show her an oil painting I made of us surrounded by our three cats and four dogs?
Cole: .........................
Cole: I'd save that for later.
