*Luca's Perspective*

He had woken up long before the sun was suppose to rise, he could feel his mate curled against his chest. He watched her for several long moments. His heart beating in perfect rhythm with hers. He felt so warm and safe here with her, he could not imagine ever leaving her. He had almost kissed her to wake her up and make out before he left. When he heard a sharp knock on the door.

A irrational anger sored threw him. How dare anyone knock on his door like that! Like they owned his pack house! How dare they risk waking his Luna! Ace was growling in agreement as he quickly left the bed and went to rip open the door a snarl of a curse just on the tip of his tongue. When he came face to face with Drake who merely raised an eyebrow at the attitude on his face.

He came crashing back to reality as he realized he had a responsibility to attend to, He took a hand and rubbed it over his face massaging his eyes. "I'm sorry I appear to have woken on the wrong side of the bed. Give me a minute to dress and ill escort you guys back to the border." He felt relieved when Drake merely gave him a suspicious look before turning and walking back down the hall to his stares. He shook off the weird feeling in his chest.

He nearly attacked his father-in-law. Talk about one hell of an impression to leave, Ella would never forgive him. He closed the door and had quickly gotten his clothes together and once dressed went downstairs to escort them to the border, leaving Elijah to guard the house and as such his mate. The entire run from the house to the border he felt restless and annoyed. Snarling at every wild animal who even slightly moved near him. When they reached the border shifted, dressed and began to talk Drake got awkward a moment before speaking.

His voice was somber and careful. "Tonight, is the Full Moon. You and my daughter haven't claimed each other yet. Trust me as her father it sickens me to rush her growing up, But No other wolf with her gift has lived to find their mate. She was having bad symptoms of her powers just before she was taken. It scares me what could happen tonight if you don't seal the bond. I think you and your wolf sense that same anxiety. Your temper that gave you the reputation of being a blood thirsty asshole has been showing itself this last hour. "

Luca felt remorseful for the way his attitude had been. "I'm sorry Mr. Marx I didn't mean to come off that way to you and your mate."

His wife waved off his apology. "No don't apologize to us, we are just worried. We pushed our own bond until the last second too. I remember what that felt like. Ella is special not like any other Lycan we worry for how bad it will be for her. The fact the sun is barely up much less the moon and already your feeling its effects merely confirms our worries. Now please hurry home to our daughter okay. She will need you today."

Luca stiffly nodded keeping himself as calm looking as he could. Though Ace was having a panic attack inside his skull. He waited till the old alpha's reached the guards who had been waiting on the other side of the border before he turned to run back.

Luca had been so relieved when he opened the door and immediately in front him. Coming down the long stairs stood his beautiful dark-haired mate. Her blue eyes locked on him and her smile nearly stole the air out of his lungs. He grinned and first thing he thought of was a stupid cheesy joke he could not help letting out.

"Honey I'm Home" He did not even care about the mocking he immediately got from Ace. What he did care about was the sudden lack of focus in her eyes. As her smile faltered and she looked like something was wrong. He felt himself frown as panic hit him. His mate bond demanding he move closer now! Now! Now go to her this second!

He rushed forward as she suddenly started to collapse, Lycan speed be grateful she had collapsed down rather than at an angle, so he was able to rush up the stairs and catch her before she dropped down any of the steps however, he did not get a chance to stop her from cracking her head against the stair railing. The sickening crack sound as the sturdy wood hit her skull gave him a cold chill. He quickly swept her up into his arms like he had the night before. Laying her onto the couch and calling to Elijah who he knew was in the kitchen where he had been listening for trouble and already likely was on his way to investigate what happened.

"Elijah, I need you to go get the pack doctor! Now please hurry! Tell them her Luna is sick!" Mean while Luca massaged the area of her head where it hit. She had not broken the skin, but he could feel the start of some swelling. "Damn baby you gave yourself one hell of a goose egg." He muttered under his breath the back of his mind registering the sound of the door slamming and the ripping of clothes. Elijah had shifted without undressing first, Krystal would be upset he ruined another set of good clothes.

If anyone saw the scene he was making, they would never believe he was the Blood thirsty alpha. As he had gotten a wet rag and held It to her forehead kissing her left hand in his free one and looked like he was scared out of his mind. Ella looked so petite beside him when standing, but unconscious with him kneeling over him like this she looked like a frail doll almost.

He hadn't even heard the pack doctor come in until he was ushered back so he could examine her. Earning a snarl of anger from Luca. The moon had him possessive of her and the male was intruding into her personal space, touching her soft skin. It took everything in him with some words of encouragement from Elijah to keep in mind that she was hurt and needed the doctor's help.

After a few minutes the doctor a rather small looking male himself. He was dressed in the clothes you would think of for a small clinic doctor. Just with a flamboyant looking neck tight to give it a touch of uniqueness. "She's going to be okay. She has a good size goose-egg. She woke up just enough to check for a concussion I am not seeing any signs of it. However, she does have a dangerously high fever. I think she is feeling the heat from the full moon starting early. I have never seen one start this early though. "The man looked this wristwatch. "Its barely 9am, If the heat is what is happening, she is in for a long day to say the least. To be safe I will have to say you should have Elijah clear the pack house completely no males within a good 50 feet. Only strong Lycans hit heat before the moons entirely up. She will have every unmatted man rutting within a few minutes of catching her scent."

Luca felt a deep blush fill his face in embarrassment. Great, he has a magical mate and now he may have to kill every male in his pack because she is so irresistible. "Thanks doc, you can go." The doctor did not hesitate he knew that his Luna's condition meant the alpha would be dangerous to offend today.

Luca did not even need to ask Elijah to clear the pack house. He had already gotten started before the doc had finished closing the door. He looked over realizing he was alone in the room with Ella now. He lifted her gently off the couch and sat down then laid her down in his lap, so her head rested on his shoulder. She made a soft moaning sound in his ear at being moved, it wasn't a sensual one merely a sound of content or comfort, but it still yanked at him like a 40-ton brick.

He kisses her forehead and sighs. "I'm sorry I didn't realize that you would start to feel the moon so soon, I thought we would have time. I'm so sorry I failed you A Ghrá mo Chroí."

She shakes her head weakly, nuzzling before opening her eyes. "Don't apologize for things the moon decides, what does those words means the Irish ones?"

He chuckled trying to stay calm. "It means Means 'my heart's beloved' or 'the love of my heart'."

She smiles pulling away enough to look at his face and kisses him. "Its beautiful, I love that even from the moment we meant you felt safe to talk to me like that."

He nods and rests his forehead to hers. "You're my mate, I hoped you would give me this chance. I did not want to treat you how I treated my pack for so long. I did not want you to fear me. You have made me a better Alpha just in the short time you have been here. "

She smiles and giggles. "Yes, having a crazy chaotic mate totally did wonders for your reputation. I know the moon is forcing us to move ahead." He could not help his flinch. God, he wished he could know what she was thinking. She slapped his arm "Let me talk, my head feels fine. You holding me took away the dizziness, I am okay. I am meant to be your mate. The idea of being Luna terrifies me. I'm worried I'm not good enough, being of alpha blood was one thing but being the Luna is terrifyingly different."

He shook his head and tries to kiss her to stop her talking. "No its fine, I don't want to rush you into that responsibility, I was I know how stressful it is we can wait it out as long as you can handle. "

She shook her head so hard he worried she would make herself dizzy again. "Forgive me if I don't feel justified in letting myself suffer out the full moon just cause I'm to chicken shit to woman up. I do not want to wait, I trust you, I love you. I am scared but I think with your help. That I could do this if I really made you a better Alpha. Then you will make me a good Luna." She kissed him so gently then slowly increasing pressure she was trying to seduce him wasn't she.

She was in her own way trying to make him stop worrying. God even when he was stupid about her powers and safety, she still thinking of him. "I want to do this, I want to be your mate completely, now before the pain starts if I got dizzy already imagine how much pain ill be in by the time the sun is out. I do not want our mating to be in pain. I want it to be in love."

God, she made being honorable so hard when she reminded him of the pain she would suffer. He could not imagine letting that happen though. He felt Ace force himself forward more wanting to do as Ella and likely her own wolf was wanting. He tries to block Ace out and focus on the look of concerned disapproval he gave Ella.

She looked at him a moment then gave a knowing smile. Her eyes looked ethereal and he knew in that moment that her powers were telling her differently to what he had to say. This whole conversation people had been clearing out of the packhouse, so she stayed silent until the very last wolf was gone. Then she shifted in his lap and leaned forward whispering. "I want you to mark me and make me yours completely." Fuck he was gone, how in the hell was a man supposed to ignore that! He felt Ace take control in excitement standing and yanking her up in the process, her legs going around his waist. There lips meeting in a heated kiss of passion and deep seeded love. He shoved ace back enough to regain his own control enjoying the kiss before walking her gracefully up the stairs then rushing to the bedroom.

where he would lock them alone together to do as their hearts desired most deeply. Complete their mate bond, marking each other for eternity. When he laid her on the soft bed, he forgotten in that moment. Why he hated this room so much. With her under him in the morning light shining from the big bay windows. He felt like he had found heaven in her arms. 

(A/N So this is not a cliff hanger this is a scene end. I am not including sex in the first writings of the book. If I see a high request for it, then final draft or future chapters may include it. For now I will not be writing that. The next chapter will start on a new scene.)
