Ella had an amazing day just talking and being with her parents. They would be heading home in the morning likely before she waked to be sure no one else would know they had left. So, she convinced them to have one last family movie night with her while Luca tended to his Alpha duties. They were now curled up in a big blanket on the pack house couch. The movie of choice Pirates of the Caribbean's Third movie. She loved this movie and tended to recommend one of them every movie night.

Her parents where curled up to each other. Ella the baby of the family excluding her twin was in her favorite position laid over her mom's lap with her head on her dad's. Her father strokes her hair gently as they watched the movie together. Her mom gently rubs their side until they both fell fast asleep. She was still wrapped up in her movie. Her wolf however was practically pacing. When she was younger her wolf getting distracted would annoy the life out of her. By now she fancied herself fairly use to the confusion in her head.

She wasn't concerned by her wolf's anxiety. She knew very well what she wanted. Their mate, he had been gone most the day since he convinced her to return to the house. Her wolf was worried about him. She wasn't so callous that she wasn't worried about him herself. However, she knew there was nothing she could do to get him home faster. Though she was curious how big their pack really was with him gone so long.

She had just started to be drifting to sleep when she felt it. The thump in her heart as she heard steps on the porch. She sat up turning her head to the door just as it started to open and that delicious sent washed over her. She quickly got up careful not to wake her parents and rushed over to toss her arms around Luca and press her nose to his neck to take in his scent.

Humans would have thought she was crazy. Sniffing on a man who had spent all day running around a large area to talk to strangers. Though in the wolf world it was so natural. This he held true to prove as he lowered his head to sniff at her hair too as they embraced. The image they made would convince anyone they had been together years.

He hummed in her ear before pulling back and kissed her forehead. She had never felt such a gentle gesture that made her feel so safe. She was naturally secure with her parents, but somehow this felt so different. She looks up at him and sighed he smiles and lifted her but by her waist. Before she could ask what, he was doing he sweeps her legs up and carries her up to the alpha room. He lays her down on the bed and moves over her to roll to the other side. He pulls her close into a innocent cuddle, these were the moments she was going to thrive off her whole life. The moments a normal man would take advantage, but her mate just savors having her in his arms like he had been starving before she got there.

She reached up and gently run her hand over his cheek he had a five o'clock shadow growing. She wondered what he looked like with facial hair. He was such a striking man with his strong jaw line and narrowed serious eyes and scowling eyebrows. She imagined a beard would soften his face so much. She stroked her fingers through his five o'clock shadow in a natural and somehow soothing manor. He looked down at her and sighed under her petting. She moved her eyes from his cheek to his eyes. "That was a heavy sigh, what are you thinking about?"

He chuckled some as he kissed her nose. "I didn't realize sighs had weight." He teased her playfully then got serious again. "I am thinking about a lot of things. I am thinking about what we are going to do as mates. How you will handle taking on my whole pack. I am worried about my people. I am worried that having you here could be putting you directly in danger." He has a mournful tone to his voice at the last one.

Something about those words struck fear through her more then any time she had faced Roy head on. She jumps up and looks down at her mate. "I am not leaving, so don't even think about asking!"

He got a guilty look on her face as if she had caught him with his hand in the cookie jar. "I won't ask you too." She huffed; her instincts never failed did they. He started to talk before she could retort again. "As much as I want to be sure you are safe. I do not think I would be any less worried if you went with your parents or went halfway across the world. My wolf won't feel like you're okay unless your right here in my arms."

He has a uncanny way of stealing all the fire out of her attitude. She sighs and lays back into his arms again." Good, I don't think I would be safe anywhere else either." She did imagine what would happen if she gone home. She knew her brothers would feel better; however she felt her parents would be more worried. An unclaimed female shouldn't be far from her mate after she finds him. Thinking of these things made her miss Eric. They had never been so far apart for so long. Even with her being a special child and her brother seemingly normal. They have been each other's own best friends. "Luca, I know its to dangerous right now, but can Eric come see us next."

He looked down at her like he would argue with her. His eyes searching her face then he just nods. "If it would make you happy of course he can come see you."

She gently ran her hand back over his cheek then into his hair. Moving slowly, she pressed her kiss to his lips. Gently, the back of her mind she could hear Aadya squeal.

"Two what?" she muttered in her mind.

This was second time you both have kissed on the lips.

Leave it to a wolf to keep count of how many times you kiss your mate. She wondered if his wolf was doing it to as he kissed her back with so much gentleness. It was like he was scared he would hurt her if he got to lost in it.

She pulled away and looked at him giggling. "Be glad you can't hear my wolf yet she is being astonishingly Ridiculous."

"I am right, and you know it."

He laughed loudly and nods "I am sure she is Alec is being cheesy too." Ella could not help the giggle that came into her. "Is it destiny that both our mates are hopeless romantic dorks." She exclaimed with amusement as she laughed with him. She could hear her wolfs protest to such teasing.

She hums curiously, "Mates can Mind Link. Does that mean you will be able to hear Aadya and me Alec? Would it just be our own thoughts we hear not our wolves?"

He shushes her softly with another gentle kiss and pulls away to laugh. "You're asking so many questions like I am experienced at having a mate before you. I do not know anymore really then you do. We will have to find those things out together when its time."

She giggles and nods burying her face into his neck. That was right, going in blind together. Learn it all together as a team. It would be nice to share secrets with her mate in the middle of meeting or dinner and no one be the wiser. She yawns softly with a tiny squeak at the end. She spent the day with her parents compared to her mate's work today its nothing and yet she felt thoroughly exhausted.

When she yawned, she felt him give her another kiss to the forehead. Subconsciously she realized he did this a lot. She wasn't sure why, but it made he feel so calm, so loved by the small gesture. With that warm thought in her belly she began to slowly slip to sleep. While his hands pet her back and hair holding her as close to his body as he could without, she being completely on top of him.
