The gifted are brought back to the academy. After the beating they got most are discouraged. Right now the academy is like a safe house rather than a school. No training, no classes, no laughter. The clouds hang low as the headmaster stress over what has happened to Laura. She was the first to arrive at Gifted, if Blaze was being honest it felt like his own child had been ripped away from him. He was always locked up in his office now.
Miss Reyes was getting weaker by the day, healing so many wounded was taking a tole on her.
Miss Storm is the only one who seems to be productive, she calls in other Hero's to help them. Some agree, some decline.
Jackson has been working none stop, going through hundreds of simulations a day to see what works. Asking John to let him fight sentinels so he can reach Alpha rank but without Laura he fails faster every time.

In talon Base, things seem to have stared back up now that they have Laura and now Leon. They are put in separate cells and always moving so they never know where the other is. Doesnt mean they cant heare eachothers screams. Kimura does what she does best. She is breaking then mentally, physically, emotionally. Leon seems to barely hang on while Laura she's already given up.
