Imagine being in Rick's group waiting to meet Negan himself

"Watch it!" You spat as you were roughly shoved to the ground onto your knees. The gravel beneath your body making it extremely uncomfortable to be kneeling on but it's not like you had a choice in the matter.

You knew the time was coming when all the running away would catch up to you and the group. There was only a limited time before Negan and his slaves caught you. So here you are, on your knees and in the line with the majority of the group waiting for the man himself to appear.

You wanted to stand up and attempt an escape as stupid as it would be, but knowing that you wouldn't get very far, it had stopped you. You wanted to try anything, something but knowing that you'll most likely end up dead, you decided not to.

You watched as one of Negan's slaves knocked on the RV door and you waited impatiently wanting to see who this Negan was, who it was that made everyone so terrified.

The door opened and he finally walked out. Here he was dressed in his leather jacket, a spiked bat over his shoulder and a sickening grin on his face as he whistled. There was something about him that seemed so familiar to you but you didn't know why.

You knew instantly that he was a man not to be messed with and yet your group was already in some deep shit.

He walked up and down, laughing at you and trying to scare you further but it wasn't working, not for you at least. He stopped in front of Rick and crouched down with a grin.

"Hi. You're Rick, right? I'm Negan." He said with a creepy chuckle but Rick didn't respond, he didn't move and if you wasn't staring at him, he probably didn't blink too.

You droned out Negan's speech only catching glimpses of the conversation as he talked about the new world order. "The new world order is this, are you ready? Give me your shit... or I will kill you."

You snorted loudly which you probably shouldn't have but you couldn't help it. Negan glanced over to you with a smile and stood up before walking over to you.

"You think this is funny?" He questioned as he peered down at you. You chuckled and nodded and looked up at him with a smile. "Well Y/N, I see you haven't changed a bit."

Your smile dropped and your eyes widened. How did he know you?

Negan laughed and crouched down to you so he could look you in the eyes. "Sweetheart, you don't remember me, do you?" He reached into his pocket and pulled out a necklace with a locket on it and held it towards you. "Open it."

You took the locket out of his hands and slowly opened it to see two pictures. On one side was a picture of you and Negan and on the other side was a picture of you, Negan and your father. You closed the locket and gave it back to him, you didn't know what to say.

Negan put the necklace in his pocket once again and his placed his hand on your shoulder. You could hear some of Rick's group shout at him to stop touching you and to leave you alone but it didn't matter. You looked at Negan and you could see the same man that you saw years ago, the same man that had taken you in after your father had died. You saw past his act, just like you did many years ago and the way he was looking at you told you that he still cared.

"I don't know what to say," You mumbled.

"You don't have to say anything," Negan gently replied, giving your shoulder a squeeze. "I've been looking for you for so long Y/N, come back with me?"

You didn't even think about it before you nodded and stood up. Yes Rick's group had become like family to you but Negan was family, he was before the apocalypse and he still is now. You couldn't just say no to him, not after everything he did for you.

He saved your life, he took you in when you had nowhere to go and he raised you like his own.

So when he told you to go inside the RV and wait for him, you didn't hesitate. You closed the door behind you and sat down and waited. You could hear what was being said through the thin walls of the RV.

"Now Where was I?" Negan asked. "Ah, Yes. Give me your shit or I'll kill you."
