Swapfell x Wolf!Hybrid!Reader Pt.2

(Being continued due to popular demand for a true ending. That, and y'all deserve a real ending after forever.)

"Why are you always such a headache inducing annoyance?!" Sans yells, tired of hearing you yammer on and on about why this is all his fault. "Well, if you'd started acting like a respectable and decent monster, then maybe Papyrus wouldn't have gotten the idea to throw us in here! Ever think that, just maybe, not everything is about you?!" Sans scoffs at your question, rolling his eye lights. "Ever think that Papyrus is doing this because he loves to PISS ME OFF?!"

From the outside of the shed, Papyrus can be heard yelling to the two he has locked up inside. "I locked you two up because y'all need to either talk it out or kiss already. I'm tired of this romcom without the romance. Either give me some action or stay cooped up."

After hearing this, both the hybrid and the skeleton fell into a nerve racking silence. Neither wanted to confess to the other, but they had such strong feelings for the other that they couldn't think straight. This often lead to lots of arguing whenever they were left in the other's company. Now that they were locked together, they had argued their way to a stalemate. They had no more quips or jabs to take at the other, so it was silent.

That was, until (Y/n) started to shiver. She knew it wasn't the smartest ideas to wear a thin shirt in Snowdin, but she didn't expect to be without heat for this long either.

Sans watched as she curled into herself for warmth; her tail curling around her waist and ears flatten to her head. She was shaking. Was it really that cold for her? Sans then shakes his skull of the dumb question, knowing full well he wouldn't know how to help. He doesn't feel temperature, so how could he warm her up?

Huffing, Sans takes off his scarf and tosses it towards (Y/n). The fabric hits the girl in her face, temporarily blinding her. "Ahh!" She yells in shock, pulling the cloth from her face and growls at the skeleton. "What the hell was that for, numb skull!?!" "You were shaking and holding yourself, so I gave you my scarf. Unless you want to stay cold, I'd put that stupid scarf around your neck." Sans says, huffing once more and looking away.

"I- thanks..." (Y/n) murmurs into the scarf as her cheeks get redder than they already were. Sans' head perks up at the sound and tilts it. "What was that, mutt?" He said with a knowing smirk. "Nothing, you stupid bonehead!" "Whatever you say, mutt."

"I am not a mutt! Papyrus, come get your brother before I tear him apart limb by limb!" She yells, her sharp teeth bared and a low growl emitting from her. Sans smirks. "Like you would be able to lay a finger on the Maleficent Sans!"

"Oh you really think so?" She says, standing up as if she is ready to tear him to shreds.

"Oh, I know so!" Sans says, his smirk getting larger.

"Alright, let's dance!" (Y/n) then launches herself at Sans, her nails grazing his neck as he dodges swiftly. He then summons a bone attack and twirls it in his hand, stopping it and pointing it towards her head.

"This will be the last time someone like you makes fun of me! I am more than just a hybrid!" Her eyes flashed yellow as she shook her head, making them return to their normal color.

The short skeleton rolled his eye lights. "Are we really gonna fight over you saying, 'thanks'? I mean, I have fought for dumber reasons in the past, but with you? I expected at least a bit better."

"I'm fighting because you won't stop calling me a mutt when I am FAR more than some DOG!" As she jumps towards him again with her claws dangerously close to his neck, yet again, he dodges once more and notices something in her eyes. Something that he had never seen from her.

Tears.

She was crying, from what he could tell, out of anger and frustration, but it was far more than that. He was the one person she had fallen for and yet here he was calling her a mutt, as if she was nothing more than an animal. Of course, that's not how he saw it at all. Sans was so unfamiliar with the emotions he was feeling that he resorted to name calling as a way to hide this newfound emotion.

He was scared and unsure of these feelings, so he picked on (Y/n) more than anyone else to cover it up. Sans called her names because he doesn't know what else to do.

He was lost.

"(Y/n)." Sans says, looking at the back of the hybrid's head. She turned around, head down and hair covering her eyes. "What? Wanna make fun of me even more for showing you my weak side?" (Y/n) then made her way into her own corner of the shed, wrapping Swapfell's scarf around her neck and quietly crying into it.

She just wanted to be left alone. He saw her as just a mutt, not a person. Not a friend. Not a crush.

Just a mutt.

Sans then threw the bone he was holding right next to her head, letting it get stuck in the side of the shed. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!" (Y/n) yells, whipping her head around with a glare. "I was not finished talking to you and you seemed to be ignoring me, so I grabbed your attention." He said as if what he did didn't have a chance of killing her. "Now that you are listening, I-I wanted to tell you that I apologize for calling you a mutt. It was not right of me, even though you are part dog."

"I'm part wolf, but whatever." She mumbles, chuckling when Sans rolls his eye lights at her. "As I was saying, I apologize. I did not mean to make you believe I thought little of you. You are quite powerful and talented. If I am being completely honest, I see you as an equal." He says, seeing (Y/n)'s face light up. "Don't let it go to your head because I, the Maleficent Sans, am still far more capable than you are."

"Well that didn't last long." (Y/n) muttered, rolling her eyes. "I see you as a worthy opponent, rival, or even partner." "Hold on, what kind of partner? We talkin' Batman and Robin or Ivy and Harley?" (Y/n) says with a smirk. "You know I don't understand your stupid references, so neither. I was meaning in... a team up way. Y'know, with you always by my side?" Sans says with his skull turning red on his cheek bones. "I'll partner with you, but only on two conditions. You only partner with me and I can do this whenever I want."

"What do you me-?" Before Sans could finish asking his question, (Y/n) moves in for a kiss on his forehead, making him blush even more than before.

"That's what I mean."

Outside of the shed, Papyrus can be seen smiling and chuckling to himself.

"Finally, an actual ending."

(Hey everyone, I hope you enjoyed this! Sorry if it seems weirdly written, please tell me if something doesn't make any sense. Hope you liked it!)
