Sans' P.O.V.
"SANS!" I heard my brother call. "Yeah, Bro?" Papyrus swam towards me in a quick fashion, seeming to have a worried expression on his face. "Hey, why do ya look so scared?" He didn't really give me an answer, but instead he grabbed my arm and swam towards Asgore's castle, better known as New Home. "Papyrus, Bro, please answer me. I'm gettin' a little worried back here." Still no answer.
"SANS, ASGORE ASKED TO SEE YOU. I DO NOT KNOW WHY, BUT HE WANTED ME TO COME AND GET YOU." I nodded, then began to ponder what in the seven seas he would want me for. "Alright, thanks Pap." Papyrus nodded and swam into the throne room, probably to tell Asgore I'm here. "SANS? KING ASGORE WANTS TO SEE YOU NOW." I nodded and swam in. "Good evening, Sans." Asgore said as he swam towards me. His sunset colored tail glowing elegantly in the lighting from the surface. He truly looked like a king and he had the powerful aura to fit the very same role.
"I have called you here to help me with something. I know how talented you are with sea creatures. They seem to be so calm around you." I nodded, blushing from embarrassment. I've never been praised by anyone like this before. "Th-thank you, Your Majesty." Asgore chuckled. "You're welcome. Now, the reason I truly called you here wasn't for praise, but for a surprise of sorts. Would kindly you follow me?" I nodded, not wanting to reject the king, but also out of curiosity. What is he talking about?
Asgore swam out of the castle and towards a lush coral reef. The bright colors seeming to paint a rainbow on the sea floor, but a quick blur catches my attention. "What was that?" I asked, not really thinking anyone would respond. "Her name is (Y/N) and she is a hippocampus foal." My jaw dropped and my eye sockets, somehow, grew wide. "A hippocampus foal?! I thought they went extinct?!" Asgore chuckled and shook his head. "She is very much alive, Sans. I have a question for you." I nodded, allowing him to ask his question.
"How would you like to raise this foal? She is very young and quite the affectionate creature." I smiled and nodded my head ecstatically. "O-of course! I would love to!" Asgore smiled, chuckling at my childish glee. "I'm glad to hear that. She is yours to keep, but be warned, they do not tire easily." I nodded. "Yes, sir. Thank you!" Asgore nodded. "You're very welcome, Sans. You've helped me very much recently, so it is the least I could do."
Once Asgore left, I swam steadily towards the (F/C) foal, trying my best not to frighten her. Her fins were gorgeous and the colors were so vibrant on her scaling. Her piercing (E/C) orbs were glowing from curiosity. She seemed to have an interest in my appearance, because she started to circle me. "Whatcha findin' so interesting about me?" (Y/N) neighed in response. She then bit my arm gently and tugged slightly, so she could take me somewhere. I chuckled, finding her behavior amusing. "Alright, where do ya want to go?" She then bolted off, with me still being held onto by her teeth. Somehow, I was kept with her and her teeth never hurt my arm. It was probably because of her being a foal, but whatever. Magic does what magic does.
"So what did you want to show me?" I then watched as she disappeared behind a giant blue tipped sea anemone. She then came out with around five or six clown fish, and each one was swimming around her and then they swam towards me. They then began to circle me. I was so distracted with the clown fish, I didn't notice (Y/N) swimming away. When they finally stopped circling me, I noticed her disappearance.
"(Y/N)!" I called out desperately. She then popped her little head out from behind a large cluster of coral. She came swimming over to me with a star fish on her snout. "What were you doing over there?" The star fish must have been irritating her, because (Y/N) kept trying to get it off. She was shaking her head, using her fins, everything she could think of, but nothing worked. I swam over and gently pulled it off, making sure I didn't hurt either of them. I then set down the star fish and watched it crawl away. (Y/N) then swam back to where she was and came back with a large, pinkish conch shell.
I gasped. "This is beautiful, (Y/N)!" She then placed it in my hands I rubbed her head against mine. I smiled and pet her head. "Thank you." She neighed and rubbed against me once more.
The rest of the day was filled with exploring the coral reef and playing tag with a foal. To say the least, we both had a whale of a time.
(Sorry it took so long, but I hope you enjoyed it! Have a lovely day!)
