You are now a baby nightfury; enjoy.
⚠️Warning ⚠️ : Implied cussing because Fell
Fell groaned in displeasure as he awoke from his peaceful slumber. He never enjoyed waking up because it was usually caused by his brother harming him in some way. This time, he didn't feel any pain; instead, he felt a gentle had shaking his shoulder. His single, red eye light landed on a small brunette human looking at him with a smile on their face. Classic, surprisingly awake before Red, stood behind the kid with a large grin. "Mornin', lazy bones. Sleep well?"
Red rolled his eye light and slowly got up, causing the kid's hand to release his shoulder. The soft, black blanket fell off of Red as he stretched; quiet popping noises came from his joints as he did so. The room they were in was dimly lit by the lamp in the guest room. Gradually, the red clad skeleton forced himself out of the cushiony bed.
The small human child smiled up at the two skeletons, seemingly giddy about someone, or something that neither skeleton knew about. Frisk's hands then reached out to grasp the two skeletons' hands. The kid then pulled them out of the barren room and led the skeletons outside of the warm house and out into Snowdin. Red, still rubbing the sleep from his sockets, turns to look at the kid in confusion. "So, what're we doin' out here, kid? You got somethin' to show us?"
Nodding their head in excitement, Frisk began to move once again. Frisk's little feet crunching the snow beneath them as the group marched towards their destination. Classic and Red faced each other and shared a look of calm confusion. "The hell is the kid showin' us?" Classic shrugged lazily. "I don't know. Kid's been excited for the majority of today. They haven't been able to sit still since they came from playin' in the woods." "Well whatever it is, it better be worth wakin' me up for."
Suddenly coming to a stop, both Red and Classic bump into Frisk. Their body bounced off of the skeletons and caused them to fall face first into the snow. "Ya good, kid?" Frisk then started to move around and made a face first snow angel. "Way to play that one off, Frisk. Now, what're ya gonna show us? I'm rattling my bones, it's so cold out here." Frisk giggle at Fell's joke. "Hey, I think the kid thought that was pretty rib tickling. Might've hit their funny bone. I thought it was quite humorous myself." Classic added, causing the group to bust out laughing.
Once the band of friends got their laughing fits under control, Frisk began to point to where the skeletons were. "You guys stay here. Don't follow me." They signed (Sign Language). "I'll tell you when you can catch up to me." Frisk then slowly made their way to a thicker part of the woods. Fell and Classic shared a look of bewilderment. "What the hell is the kid plannin'? This s*** better not be some jump-scare, or I swear to Asgore I'm gonna hurt somebody." Classic shook his head. "I doubt that's what the kid's plannin'. They don't usually do stuff like that."
Not even a minute later, Frisk comes running back with the largest grin the two skeletons have ever seen. "Hurry, follow me! It's still here!" The two skeletons follow the mute child through the trees. The thick woods slowly became less dense as the ventured in further. The pine trees then left completely once they came to a large clearing not fifty feet (15 meters) into the woods itself. In the center was a large rock with snow surrounding it like a holy ritual, for not a foot print could be found around it. A light powdering of snow seemed to cover a small black object on top of the rock. Beside the rock was a small pond with the cold water still running and remaining unfrozen.
"What're we supposed to be lookin' at, kid? 'Cause I don't see anythin' too eye catchin' here." Fell asked, bored out of his skull. 'I coulda been sleepin' right now, but no! I had to be awake to come look at a d*** rock and a stupid a** pond in the middle of the woods!' He thought to himself. Frisk, noticing his disinterest in her findings, led the doppelgängers to the rock itself and began to dust off the snow on the black 'object'. "Frisk, is that a tail?" Classic asks, his finger pointing towards a small, black tail with fin-like sides to the tip. Frisk nodded and continued to clean off all of the snow.
"What the hell is that?! Frisk, get away from that thing!" Red hollered, pulling Frisk away from the half frozen dragon baby. (It's fun to say dragon baby. Idk why, but it is.) "Red, I'm fine! She won't hurt me. She's too little to cause a lot of harm." Frisk signed, yanking herself from Red's grasp. "Kid, he's just tryin' to keep ya safe. He's not tryin' to hurt cha." Frisk nodded, but continued her mission until the baby dragon was completely visible. "Sans, she's still breathing. Can we take her home and warm her up? I don't want her to die out here!" Classic sighed and nodded. He then gently laid his hand on Frisk's shoulder as the kid gently picked up the sleeping dragon. All at once, they teleported back home. Frisk then gently laid the baby dragon on the couch.
Fell sighed. "What are we gonna do with a d*** dragon baby?" Frisk shrugged. "Raise it, I guess. She can't make it on her own here in the Underground. She'll die on her own!" Fell looked towards his doppelgänger and gave him a questioning look. Classic turned his gaze from Fell to the little dragon laying in Frisk's arms. "We can keep her-" Frisk began to bounce on the balls of their feet. "-but we can't keep her forever. She's a wild, living creature. Dragons aren't meant to be held captive, or confined to a small home. We can raise her until she can live on her own."
Frisk's smile fell slightly, but they nodded nonetheless. Their excitement was still flowing through them, making Frisk even more giddy than usual. "What should we name her?" "Hold on! What the hell are you two thinkin'?! I'm pretty sure neither of ya know anythin' about keepin' a d*** dragon, much less a baby one!" Before either of them could speak a strange chirping noise was heard. Everyone then turned towards the couch and sees the little dragon glancing around the room. Her large, innocent eyes searching the room for something she knew. "Heya, little one." Classic said, grinning. The baby chirped and opened its wings; her eyes shining a bright (E/C) in the light from the room.
"She looks like she wants to play, Sans." Both Fell and Classic nodded, though Fell looked like he could careless about the circumstances they were all in. "Well I ain't playin' with it. I didn't bring it here, so it ain't my problem!" Frisk flinched at Red's tone. "She isn't an it, Fell! She's a girl and she's only a baby!" "Ok, and you two brought her here, so you two can deal with her!" Fell then leaves the room. Unbeknownst to anyone in the room, the baby dragon began to slowly crawl her way after Fell.
"Why does he hate her so much? She didn't do anything to him!" Frisk signed, upset and confused. "He doesn't want to deal with the responsibility of watchin' a baby anything, Frisk. He was thrown into something that he didn't know about, so he's not gonna help us with her." Frisk sadly nodded towards Classic. "I guess you're right..." Frisk's head turned towards the couch once more only to find the baby nowhere in sight.
Fell kicked the door open in frustration. This caused the door to slam into the wall, but it didn't seem to cause anymore damage than what was already there. "Are they even thinkin'?! How are they gonna take care of a baby dragon when Classic can barely take care of a pet rock?!" Fell huffs in agitation. Quietly skittering her way towards the edgy skeleton, the little dragon begins to nuzzle her head against his leg. Feeling the sudden contact, Fell flinches away in surprise. "Wh- How did you get in here? What're you doin' awake?" The little dragon gave a timid grin showing her pink gums to Fell.
Fell chuckled at her facial expression. "What kinda face is that? You've got no teeth, y'know?" The fledging then began to waddle her way towards Fell once more. Her little claws clicked as she made her way over to him. "Maybe you're not as bad as I thought. You're pretty cute for a d*** dragon. Always thought they were some cold blooded, fire breathing, murder machines. You're quite the opposite, aren't ya?" The fledgling gently rubbed her scaly head against his shin bone and made a purr-like noise.
Fell then sighed, picking up the cute little dragon. "Maybe havin' you around won't be so bad." She then responded by nuzzling herself into the crook of his neck. Fell chuckled and carefully laid himself into the bed and sighed. "I still think this idea is insane. None of us have a d*** clue how to care for a dragon, much less a friggin' baby one." Said fledgling then looked at Fell and licked his 'nose', causing Fell to chuckle once more. "You're a mess, y'know that?" Making a chirp-like noise, she smiled once more.
The baby dragon then yawned and nuzzled her way back into the crook of Fell's neck. Fell smiled and pet the little one until she fell asleep once more. "A nap sounds nice. Ima join ya in that escapade."
~With Frisk and Classic, downstairs~
"Sans, she's missing! I can't find her anywhere!" Frisk frantically signs. Classic shakes his head, his hand rubbing his forehead in agitation. "She was in here a moment ago, right? Right before Fell made his exit, she was in here." Frisk then gasped in realization. "She must have followed Fell to his room! Cause I doubt he took her with him." Sans nodded and followed Frisk up the stairs. Both seemed nervous about entering Fell's room because of past experiences.
Upon entering the room the two were met with a shocking sight. Fell completely asleep and covered up in his bed and a small black head nestled in beside him. Both were snoring in their sleep and cuddled closely. Frisk was about to fangirl until they remembered that the two were still asleep, so they decided to take a picture of it. Classic on the other hand was completely shocked. Never in Classic's existence did he ever think that Fell of all skeletons would have a soft spot for little creatures (even though it is a dragon). "Sans, we should leave them alone for now. They seem to be enjoying each other's company," Frisk signs. Classic nods and opens the door once more.
Maybe Fell will help them take care of this new addition.
