Narrator's P.O.V.
Blue was preparing some tacos for his brother, Papyrus, when he suddenly heard a loud crash. He sprint into the living room, noticing Papyrus had tripped and hit a vase. "PAPYRUS! ARE YOU OK?" Blue says, running over to his brother. Papyrus doesn't answer. Blue could smell alcohol on him, so he decided to lay him down on the couch. "Someone got into my hidden stash of hardcore whiskey." Blue says chuckling to himself. Blue then tucked his brother in and went back to the kitchen.
Blue, getting into his cooking mode once more, began to sing to himself. "Delicious tacos, makin' delicious tacos. Take some beef and I'll put in a taco. Delicious tacos, that's what it's gonna make. Delicious tacos~!" (If you get this reference, I love you.) Once he finished his tacos, he heard his brother start to groan. He walked into the living room, still wearing his 'Kiss the Cook' apron, and went to his brother. "BROTHER! WHAT HAPPENED?" Papyrus held his head in pain. "Ugh... Not so loud, Bro. I found some of Grillby's Hardcore whiskey... in a mini fridge and thought I'd... take a swig." Blue was laughing internally, but kept his face innocent and concerned.
Blue then picks up Papyrus and takes him to his room. Papyrus' room was a mess, per usual. Blue expertly maneuvered around the messy floor, knowing where every sock and crumbled piece of paper was. He then gently laid his brother down on his unmade bed, pulling the crinkled covers over top of him. "Go to sleep. It will make you feel much better in the morning." Papyrus didn't need to be told twice before he fell asleep once more. Blue chuckled and walked out of his brothers room, closing the door gently, and heading towards his tacos.
Suddenly a loud crash rang throughout the house, causing Blue to sprint towards said noise. When he arrived, he saw a little girl with black wings laying on what used to be the kitchen table. Blue went to pick her up and see if she was alright, but he then saw her body twitch in a familiar way. The movement wasn't like the human nervous system's, but more like a glitch, much like a certain black skeleton. Blue starts to panic slightly. He has no clue what to do. Is she good, is she evil, is she Dead!? Blue then contacts the only person he know who can help him.
"Heya, Blue! What's up?" Ink says happily over the phone. Blue looks at the girl in worry. "A GIRL CRASHED INTO MY KITCHEN TABLE AND SHE SEEMS TO BE GLITCHING." Blue explains, looking for his tacos in the process. Once he found them, he noticed how the girl was breathing and didn't seem to have any major injuries near her face.
After a few minutes, Ink arrives with his paint brush, Broomy, on his back."Where's the girl?" Blue walks over to the girl, letting Ink follow him into his house. "Wow. She caused this?" Blue just nodded. "How'd she get into your house?" Blue shook his head. "I HAVE NO CLUE! I PUT PAPYRUS TO BED AND COME BACK TO HEAR A LOUD CRASHING NOISE AND SEE HER LIKE THIS!" Ink was about to ask why Blue put Papyrus to bed, but shook the thought from his mind. "You said she was glitching. How badly?" Blue pointed to the girl and Ink followed his gaze.
The girl seemed to have part of her head and her left wing glitch. Ink looked at her in surprise. "Wait a second! I've seen her before!" Ink then picked the girl up, rubbing some of the debris from her pale skin. Blue gasped, seeing a familiar face once more.
~Flashback~
(You're just small, not super young. (Not in actuality, but the story.))
A small girl is seen running through Snowdin with a long (F/C) coat and scarf on. Her little boots covered in slush. "Blue!" She yells, trying to find her best friend. Blue and the little girl were about the height and age. "(Y/N)!" The little blue clad skeleton hollered. They then hug each other as if they would never see each other again. "I missed you." They say to each other, still hugging. They then release each other and start to giggle. This was how they grew up. They would play games together and all sorts of things.
The image then changes to something Blue dreaded. He tried his best to forget this memory, but it kept haunting him.
Alphys, Captian of the Royal Guard, was seen stalking through Snowdin. She held her battle axe close to her side, but always keeping it in a ready position. Walking up to Blue, she kneeled down. "Hi there. What's your name?" She asked, trying to seem friendlier than her appearance. "I'm Sans!" Alphys smiles. "It's nice to meet you, Sans. I'm-" Sans then interrupts her. "Your Alphys, the Captian of the Royal Guard!" Alphys chuckled. "You're a smart kid. I've got a question for you, Sans. Have you seen a human around here?"
Sans nods, smiling widely. "Yeah! She's my friend! Her name is (Y/N)!" Alphys nods. "Do you know where she is? I would like to meet her." Alphys then walked away, after being given the human's whereabouts. Sans had no clue what he just did.
(Slight gore in this next paragraph)
A little human girl is then seen running around in the snow. Alphys walks over to the girl; axe held high and ready to swing. She then brings the axe down with a quick, heavy swing, causing the little girl's body to fall limply on the ground, soaking the snow with a crimson liquid. Alphys then grabs the large, black sack from her back and puts the child's body inside. The poor girl had her head severed from her body, though it was forced into the bag as well, you could still see all the blood from the murder. Poor child didn't know what was coming.
(Gore ended)
Little to Alphys' knowledge, Blue had followed her and saw this catastrophe and nearly screamed from the sight. His best friend had just been killed by his idol. He looked up to Alphys, but she had just murdered his best friend. He no longer saw Alphys as a hero, but as a cruel monster. He no longer wanted to join the royal guard.
~End of Flashback~
"She was the little angel girl I saw flying around the AUs. She was looking for someone." Ink stated, remembering the little girl. He then sets the girl down in an undamaged chair. "That's (Y/N)..." Blue says with tears rolling down his cheekbones. "Who?" Ink asked, not looking at Blue. "She... she was my best friend..., but Alphys.... killed (Y/N)..." Blue says through his tears. Ink turns and sees Blue's tears and quickly hugs him, trying his best to comfort the adorable skeleton. "Blue... I'm so sorry." Blue hides his face in Ink's scarf, still crying is little soul out.
"H-huh?" A small voice says. Both of the skeletons' attention was now on the little girl, who we now know is (Y/N). "Wh-where am I?" She says, trying to rub the tiredness from her eyes. Blue runs over to her and hugs her tightly, afraid she'd disappear if he let go. She stiffened and looked down at the skeleton hugging her. "Bl-Blue? Blue!" She hollers, tears streaming from her (E/C) eyes. She hugs him back twice as hard and hides her face into his scarf. "I missed you!" (Y/N) cried. Blue nodded, wiping the tears from his eye sockets. "I missed you too."
Blue pulled away from the hug and started to wipe (Y/N)'s tears away. "Are you ok?" Blue asked. (Y/N) nodded, smiling happily. "Now that I-I-I finally found you!" She says, slightly glitching in the process.
You see, there have been many resets after (Y/N)'s death. Since (Y/N) isn't a main character, she was forced out of the AU. This force, caused her to glitch. Her looks were also different, but not drastic. (Y/N), after she had died, was made into an angel. The force had caused her to 'fall' from heaven and become a fallen angel. Her beautiful white wings were now pitch black, like the darkest void. Sadly you can't see any of the Gasters in them. (I'm sorry. That was a horrible joke.)
Blue smiled, happy to have his friend back. Ink smiled as well. He thought this reunion was adorable, so he took a mental picture of it so he could paint it later. Ink then noticed something strange. There was a blue string wrapped around (Y/N)'s ankle. Knowing who the string belonged to, Ink quickly got rid of it. "(Y/N)? Why was there a blue string on your ankle?"
The little angel flinched and looked around in fear. "Th-this black, glitchy skeleton attacked me, s-saying I was nothing b-but a worthless glitch." She whimpered. "He... He..." (Y/N) "He tied me up with h-his strings and would h-hurt me..." Blue hugged the reader closer to himself, not wanting to believe what she just said. His best friend, that he had a crush on when they were little, was beaten by his past torturer. Error hadn't made an appearance since Blue's escape, but now he knows why. He had a new glitch to torture.
"Why did he throw you here?" The girl shook her head, not knowing the reason herself. "There's gotta be a reason. He doesn't do these kinds of things without a reason." Ink said, thinking of different scenarios in his creative mind. Blue then got an idea. "Maybe he threw her here, with the string still on her leg, so he could be led to another AU." Ink nodded, agreeing with this possibility.
"I'll stay here to protect you guys, just incase Error decides to show up." Blue nodded and started carrying (Y/N) to a guest room. This guest room was very old, but was still quite nice and extremely well kept. There were grey, egyptian cotton covers covering the bed. They were fluffy and plush to the touch. Blue laid (Y/N) down gently, trying not to hurt her. "Are you ok?" Blue asks quietly, voice laced in concern. She nods, letting a slight smile appear on her bruised face.
Blue then gently pets her hair and walks out of the room, grabbing an emergency health kit. He then comes back to into the room and sits in the bed, opening the kit and carefully grabbing out all the needed supplies. Pushing the box to the side, he then begins to treat some wounds. Blue, not knowing healing magic very well, had to learn how to treat wounds in the physical manner instead of the magical.
After tending to your injuries, Blue let's you sleep, knowing your quite drained. He smiled and 'kissed' your forehead before leaving and going to his own room.
He laid in his bed, thinking and trying to wrap his mind around (Y/N). 'She was dead, but know she's back and is a glitchy, fallen angel? How does that even work? Why would she be thrown her of all places? Error already knew where this AU was, so why throw her here?' These thoughts kept racking throughout his skull, causing him to stay awake longer than he had intended. Though time isn't easy to tell in the Underground, he knew it was getting later than he'd like.
Suddenly, Blue has a terrifying thought cross his mind, causing him to run into your room. His soul beating quickly with fear. Know he knew why Error threw her here. She was his leverage. He could use her as a way to get to, not only Blue, but also Ink. Ink wouldn't hurt a civilian, or anyone innocent, so that was plenty.
He had thrown her here in order to test and see if Blue was the one she was looking for. Know he knows he was correct and will take her hostage.
Blue grit his teeth and sprint into the guest room, but he say nothing wrong. (Y/N) was still in there, sleeping soundly in the old bed, surrounded by the music of a music box. Blue was surprised. Not only did Error not show, but the music playing in that room was one of (Y/N)'s favorite songs. They had heard it somewhere once before, but Blue couldn't remember where.
(The song is, It's Raining Somewhere Else, by Toby Fox.)
Blue decided to stay in the room with (Y/N) until she woke up. He didn't want anything to happen to her while he was sleeping. Quietly, Blue slithered his way into the bed sheets and cuddled up against his long lost friend and crush. Her warmth made Blue feel cozy and tired, causing him to yawn and fall asleep quite quickly.
In the morning, Blue woke up and felt someone's arms wrapped around his neck and his legs tangled with someone else's. He blushes profusely and starts to squirm slightly, but then stops once he hears the groggy voice of the other person. "Huh? M-morning, Blue." The girl then turns to look at Blue, making him realize where he is. "M-morning. How did you s-sleep?" He asked, embarrassed he was sleeping with the girl. She giggles and kisses his skull. "Fine. You're still as adorable as you were when I left."
Blue nodded, but then started to stammer as he realized what she had said. "A-adorable?!" She giggled once more and hugged him closely.
"Thank you for protecting me last night. I always feel so safe when you're around." Blue blushes even more, if possible, and looks away. "I-It was nothing. I didn't want to lose you again, so I came in here." (Y/N) then hugged Blue and started to cry into his shoulder. "I-I missed you... I l-love you." Blue smiles. "I love you too."
In the distance, Sans could hear something strange. It was his brother groaning from his massive hangover. Blue chuckled to himself and held you closer.
He finally had his angel back.
(Sorry this was posted so early in the morning. I haven't fallen asleep yet and I really wasn't wanting to leave this til tomorrow, so... yeah. I hope you enjoyed. Sorry it's crappy. See y'all in the next oneshot. 🤗)
