SIXTEEN
Hand in hand, Stiles and I run towards the end of the school hallway, where the doors were so we could help Scott and the others. "Stiles." I hear Claudia Stilinski, wait, she's still here? Stiles frowned and turned around at the sound of his Mums voice. "Stiles, is that you?"
"Mum?" Stiles asked, stepping forward and I quickly grabbed Stiles' hand, gripping it and he looked back at me.
"Stiles, that's not your Mum." I tell him softly.
I ended up following him as he dragged me down the hallway. "No, it is my Mum. I know her voice." Stiles explained to me.
"No, that's the Wild Hunt. They're tricking you." I plead, trying to get him to listen to me and not to the Wild Hunt. "Stiles, please believe me." Stiles and I stopped in the hallway. "The Wild Hunt brought her back but she's not real."
Stiles turned his head to me. "What do you mean, brought her back?"
"Stiles," Claudia says, walking down the hallway. She looks like Claudia, but she isn't Claudia. "I know what you've been through. I know how much you love your father." I let him go as he started to walk towards her, and I stayed put, my heart pounding. And then, the thunder crackles and the face of a Ghost Ryder appears on her face. "But I love him more." Cluadia steps forward. "Even from the hunt, you somehow wormed your way back into his memory."
"Yeah, worming is one of my skills." Stiles deadpanned, making me smirk. There are those sarcastic comments that I love to hear.
I stepped up near Stiles. "That thing is conjured from your dads' pain." I explain to Stiles. "If he remembers you, he can't believe in her."
"That's why you have to go," Claudia whispered. I then let out a scream but Claudia had caught my throat making my eyes widen, she was physically choking me. Stiles had pushed me out of the way and I gasped, and the Ghost Ryder had quickly put his hands around Stiles' throat. "You shouldn't treat your mother that way,"
"You're not my mother," Stiles choked out, I fall helplessly onto the wall, trying to heal my throat somehow. Claudia had pushed Stiles right back into the wall, grunting. In the distances, you can hear trains honking.
"He believes in me," Claudia continued choking Stiles. "Dreams, so hard to kill." I let out a gasp, trying to gagging.
"But not impossible," Mr. Stilinski had come around the corner and he had shot the Ghost Ryder.
"Noah. Your bullets can't hurt me." Claudia laughs. I then was finally normal enough to be able to breathe properly and I walked over to Mr. Stilinski who glanced over at me.
"Fire again," I tell him, sucking in a deep breath and letting out another loud scream, and Mr. Stilinski shot a bullet, which instantly went into the Ghost Ryder and was killed. Stiles was let go, obviously, panting and coughing.
That's when everything seemed like an Earth Quake and Mr. Stilinski had tucked me under his arm, protecting me. There was collect neighs from horses. I let out a whimper, wondering what on earth was happening.
"This is new," I murmur next to Stiles the next morning. I was wrapped around in Stiles' arm, I think I had the best sleep last night. Or, rather a nightmare. I think I had a dream where it started off with Stiles disappearing then eventually everyone disappeared and me and the pack had to save everyone before it became a Ghost town and I and Lydia were going to be the only ones left-
Wait, all of that did happen. "Do we have to go to school today?" Stiles mumbled agaisnt my skin, placing soft kisses on my back. I giggle slightly, loving the feeling of him giving kisses on my back.
I close my eyes, but then opened them, knowing what he was doing. "Stiles, we're basically finished school. Now, we go to Uni. That's insane." I whisper, kind of shock. "Everything's changed so fast."
I then turned around and was greeted by a shirtless Stiles, well, I guess I was shirtless too. But, I had a sports bra on. We just had a really heated make-out session last night, to make up for everything that's been happening.
"I know," Stiles agreed, sighing softly before kissing my lips gently. "I can't believe it, either. We survived the Wild Hunt. You remembered me, which made me come back, which made us save everyone... so, you're the real hero, here, Stacey,"
He kissed my forehead. I rolled my eyes. "We all took part in this, Stiles. We're all heroes. This just proves the quote, Heros don't need capes whole situation."
Stiles chuckled and pulled me into a hug, his body radiating heat. "Now, we've just got to face school."
That's the biggest mission of all.
"Have a great summer everyone, to the seniors, I'll see you all at graduation." The teacher announces making me cheer in victory, I've never been so happy in my life. I jump up from my chair and celebrate.
"No," Stiles protested and I danced my way over to his seat and my friends were watching me. Scott smiled at me. "No, no, no, no. That's it. What?"
"Come on, Stiles, lets celebrate!" I cheer. "Last day ever," I sing. It was now just the five of us. The surviving pack members. Malia, Lydia, Scott, Stiles, and I. I sat on Stiles lap, wrapping an arm around his shoulder.
"Well, it feels just so anti-climactic," Stiles said.
"Well, there's the whole graduation thing," Lydia said.
"I've got to go to summer school or I can't do the whole graduation thing." Malia informs us. I don't, because I actually did good this year. Not bad, not great, but good! I just passed.
"Let's do it." Scott said and I stood up, Scott, Lydia, and Malia leaving us behind.
"No, come one, wait..." Stiles called. "Guys? This can't be it."
"It is, Stiles." I whisper softly and he looks up at me. The lights then flicker off, I grab Stiles' hand a pull him up and our lips connected together. "I love you."
Stiles smiled at me. "I love you so much."
We were now at each other's locker, I was standing next to Stiles as I clear my locker out. Scott was clearing out his and so was Stiles. "I can't believe we're not in high school anymore." Scott said, grinning. "Kind of feels like nothing's really changed."
Stiles then looked down at me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders and kissed my forehead. "Everything's changed." Stiles said. It was after school and Scott, Stiles, and I were with Liam and Mason at Stiles' Jeep. Giving them the how to be like us, guide. "Okay! So, Liam, since you're the new Alpha..."
"I'm not an Alpha," Liam deadpans as Stiles wrapped an arm around my waste, standing in front of me and I rolled my eyes as we stand in the back of Stiles' Jeep.
"Right, but, you know, Alpha-in-training," Stiles said.
"Well, I'd have to kill an Alpha." Liam bickered to Stiles.
"Liam, since your taking over," Stiles rearranged his words. "The most important thing to remember is that Mason is always the one that's gonna be the one's there to save your ass all the time."
"Well, not all the time." Scott said and I rolled my eyes, again.
"Most of the time." I say.
"Which is why..." he then brought out a metal baseball bat and I laughed. I'm surprised he didn't steal my mother's. "I think you're gonna need this."
"Uh, I don't play baseball." Mason says, shaking his head.
"Right. Neither do I. It's... it's not the point."
"The point is, that you don't have to play baseball to have a baseball bat it will come very valuable in your future, Mason," I say, and Stiles agreed with me and Mason takes the baseball bat.
"Thanks." Mason says.
"Love you guys," Stiles said, they both just smiled and walked off. "Right. I leave you two with this." He holds the tuck tap in his hand and I gasped dramatically. "You know, hurt her and I'll kill you."
"I'd like to think you were saying that to me," I say, Stiles, laughed and kissed my forehead.
"Whatever floats your boat, honey," he says back.
"You sure you won't need it?" Scott asked.
"It's okay. Stacey's gonna drive me down to D.C with your mums car, she wants to help me move into my dorm, so..." Stiles said.
"Does mum know about this?" Scott asked.
"Totally," I say sarcastically. "But uh, when she does find out, tell her she can use the Jeep. Did you know that Lydia's starting MIT as a junior? How do you even do that?"
"She's a genius," Scott agreed.
"Real question is, how did you get into UC Davis?" Stiles asked making me laugh.
"How did Stacey get into Standford University," Scott shrugged.
"How did Stiles get into George Washinton? They have no idea whats coming there way," I laugh.
"I don't know. Your dad, the uh, big FBI pops made a call to the little pre-FBI program." Stiles shrugged.
"Pre-FBI," Scott and I say at the same time.
"Well, I guess we're not the same kids running around the woods looking for a dead body," Scott reminded Stiles.
"The one that I didn't get an invite to," I sassed, flipping my hair over my shoulder.
"We are not going over that again," Scott chuckled. "Only because Stiles didn't want to wake you up!"
"But hey, three years later I got an invite so you're the hook." I laugh, smiling.
"No, we're not." Stiles ignored our bicker. He then took the keys out of his pocket.
"You know, you can keep the Jeep," Scott said.
"No, I... I want you two to share it." Stiles said.
"Oh, Stiles, these aren't the keys to the Jeep." Scott said, looking at the set of keys in front of him.
"Well, that's one to your house, another to you guys' room, uh, it's the master key to the school, Animal Clinic, key to the sheriff's station. Just figured you should have the copies I secretly made. So..." He then dug out another pair of keys, his keys. "They still need us."
I glanced back and looked at the kids that were walking around happily and I gulped. "They'll always need us." Scott replied back.
"And you know, I... I need you guys." Stiles said. "You two know that."
"We need you too," Scott and I said in sync, I smiled at Stiles and we connected our lips briefly.
"I'm gonna miss you guys," Stiles sighed. "No, really, I need you two though, uh... I lost my license in the Hunt. So... Scott, your driving."
Scott chuckled. "Your dad is the Sheriff. I'm sure he'll let it slide. You drive."
"Yeah, babe, remember the 15 tickets? I'm sure he'll let it slide," I reassured him. Stiles then closed the back door and I climbed in the back seat, the two boys in their usual spots.
I sat in the middle of them, like usual.
We are for sure not the same kids looking out for trouble.
"Unit four, repeat you're telling me there's a dead body in the woods?" I hear Stilinski over the scanner and I let out a laugh, smirking.
"That's excatly what I'm saying." says another policemen over the scanner. "There's a body in the woods..."
Scott flicked off the scanner and we all looked at each other. "Am I invited this time?" I asked, smiling. They both gave me grins.
"For old times sake,"
