(Outskirts of Boston, Massachusetts, 12:00 PM)

Under the warm sun at the horizon and blue skies, Carol Danvers or Captain Marvel monitored her mutant friend from above as Wanda was driving a bright maroon sedan. The pale looking synthezoid remained unconsciously lying on the car seats. The scarlet haired Sokovian Avenger focused herself contolling the car's steering wheel and stared at the window's front view, not looking behind. She knew that HYDRA agents would be after her as her Kree-hybrid friend warned her.

Approaching the highway going to New York and without any notice to the sleeping humanoid passenger, he instantly opened his eyes and scanned the moving environment. Vision was slowly moving his head to his side and focusedly seeing Wanda on the wheel. He managed to sit up and moved his head around. Wanda carefully turned her head on her side and didn't expect the white synthezoid to wake up.

" Vis?! " she called his nickname and asked. " Are you okay? "

Vision blankly stared at her and continued scanning. He was emotionless as he couldn't remember anything about the Avengers, SHIELD, MIB, or the invasion. The male white synthezoid was like a brand new computer or a restored mobile device which he had no stored memories.

" Vis, why are you staring at me like that? Can you really remember anything? "

" No, " he instantly broke his silence.

Wanda cocked her eyebrows and sighed to her a dismay. Then, she followed it with a false grin and chuckled, " Right. You're just a brand new Vision that I need to help bringing back his memories for sure. It will take a long time to talk everything. For now, we're going to escape from HYDRA people and live a normal life. What do you think? "

" This is unnecessary. "

" What do you mean unnecessary? " she raised her voice and became unnerved at him.

" I have to eliminate you, Wanda Maximoff. "

" Vis?! You've gotta be kidding me! What the heck are you talking about?! Are you serious?! "

Vision emotionlessly replied, " I am. Now, I order you to stop the car, Wanda Maximoff. "

The scarlet haired mutant raised her eyebrows and found her pale skinned synthezoid passenger too ridiculous. She was still driving when the car quickly approached the highway. If she followed his command, she could cause a serious traffic jam to anyone. This time, Wanda carefully swerved the car to the right section of the highway and parked it to the grassy side. She just made up her mind to talk with her boyfriend and looked at him with concern.

" Vis, can we talk outside? " she asked and turned off the engine.

" I have the right to eliminate you, " he answered. " I don't want to waste any time. "

" What are you talking about?! "

" You are deemed a public enemy, Wanda Maximoff. "

Wanda was baffled upon hearing the artificial being had mentioned. She raised her eyebrows in suspicion and opened the door.

" We need to talk outside, Vision, whether if you're gonna kill me or not, " she stressed.

Vision also opened the car's door and followed the Sokovian mutant. They headed into the woods, just three feet away from the sedan. Wanda gave him a suggestive look and crossed her arms, before she could act. The pale skinned synthezoid was still blankly staring at her.

" What are you gonna do? Talk or eliminate me?! " Wanda asked to challenge him and shrugged. " You said to me that you're not gonna waste any time?! "

Vision's eyes turned dim as his artificial mind stone made of Vibranium chips and nanomachines had sparked in bright blue light. He instantly hovered from the ground and targeted Wanda, giving her a destructive blast. Wanda immediately dodged away from the attack in order to divert him.

" I don't want to fight him, " she anxiously thought and looked at the hovering synthezoid. " I still need to find a way how I can bring him back to the way he was before. But how?! "

Vision kept firing at her, but he missed the target and ended up blasting the trees and scaring the birds and squirrels away. Wanda continued running away and side stepping his barrage of blasts. The white humanoid being instantly flew and grabbed her by the neck. Still, Wanda refused to retaliate and struggled to set free from the killing machine.

" Vision, I can't breathe! Let me go! " she cried and coughed, facing her impending doom.

" I have the right to destroy you, " he said.

" Please let me... go! "

" I will not let you go. You are a threat to humanity along with the Avengers. "

" Vis...Please!! "

" It is over. "

Facing and meeting Lady Death, Wanda's skin was turning pale, but her both hands were radiating with bright red energy.  With this sudden struggle, the outbursts of her powers and force began to subdue him by breaking free and sending him down to the ground. The Sokovian mutant heavily panted and watched the murderous synthezoid managed to stand up and thought of retaliating once again.

Sensing the energy from Wanda, Carol instantly descended from the skies and stood beside her friend. The pale skinned Vision was facing two opponents as his challengers and subjects for eradication. Carol and Wanda shared glances and then turned to their powerful artificial opponent.

" He's controlled by someone, " the blonde half-Kree said.

" What do you mean? " the scarlet haired one asked.

" He's not the vision you know, " Carol answered and watched him dimming his eyes. " Someone implanted him nanomachines as he's being manipulated. "

" I don't understand, Carol! "

" Someone in HYDRA controls him as a killing machine. "

" So, what are we going to do now? "

" I hope this will work, " Carol thought and said. " Wanda. Hold his arms, now. Then, freeze him. "

Wanda looked at Vision who was preparing himself to attack the two. She instantly ran and followed Carol's instructions. The mutant summoned her fingers and emitted another bright red energy to freeze the white synthezoid. Vision became controlled under Wanda's energy as he couldn't break free from her.

Hovering infront of him, Carol's mind stone shone the brightest on her helmet along with her Binary powers. She dared not to destroy the Vision as he was closing his eyes and grimacing. It was too bright for him to confront her. The blonde half Kree woman emitted her both hands with her combined radiances and carefully touched the synthezoid's forehead. With that mighty energy transfer, there was happening inside his mechanical body. The nifty and smart nanomachines from Senator Armstrong had lost control from someone, even the synthezoid brain was rebooted for the second time. Inside Vision's mind, the memories from the past had returned as a series of flashbacks.

It took seconds to an hour for Carol and Wanda to bring him back into he was before. With their combined powers and energies, Vision's white skin was changing into green and strawberry red on his face. Finally, his artificial mind stone was returning into golden yellow. He slowly opened his eyes and became dazed and confused to his current position. Wanda instantly hugged him and wept for joy. Carol returned to normal which her job was done.

" W-Wanda?! " Vision exclaimed in shock and immediately moved his head in sideways. " What happened?! "

" Vis! Welcome back! " she happily replied, still embracing.

" Welcome back?! I don't know what you're talking about! "

" Vis! You're alive and safe with me! "

Vision curiously tilted his head and repeated the word, " Safe?! What about those invaders in Scotland? Where are they?! "

" Vis, they are all gone. The whole world is safe and returned to normal just like you. "

" I really don't understand, Wanda, " he said baffled. " I missed everything and never took any part to save the day..."

" We're all good, now. Carol and I just helped you to bring you back. "

" Wanda, I think you need the most explaining to him that you could take, " Carol suggested. " Vision has really missed out the action before. "

Wanda sighed in reply, " Oh..."

" But you guys should stay away from HYDRA, " she seriously warned. " Go on hiding and take some disguises and aliases. "

" Take disguises? Go on Hiding? HYDRA? " the synthezoid Avenger curiously repeated the words from the half-Kree and tilted his head. " I'm so sorry, madam. I just don't know why we have to do those things. "

" We are all in danger, now. Everyone thinks we're terrorists, " Carol replied.

" Terrorists?! "

" Look, you and Wanda should live some place safe where no one could recognize you. "

" Where?! " Wanda and Vision asked in unison.

" In Westview, New Jersey. "
