4 - Sports Festival
I had trained my Quirk so i could become the outright winner of this festival. I didn't know what to expect from the 1-B students or the rest of the classes, but I wasn't about to let some bottom of the bucket rejects get a lead over me. Deku tried to insult me by saying things like "Keep going, Kacchan, you got this!" or "I believe in you!" As if I needed his fake encouragement.
Ginger tapped me on the shoulder. I realized I had been spacing out. "Don't touch me," I said to her. "You're welcome," she whispered back. "So, does anyone have any questions about the Sports Festival?" Aizawa was asking us. Nobody raised their hand, and we got ready to go.
Upon opening the door, there were a bunch of other students in our way, blocking us from getting outside. They started yelling about how they came to check out class 1-A. Some purple bastard walked forward. "It's sad that we came all this way and you're just a bunch of egomaniacs." He started going off with his stupid messy hair and stupid baggy eyes about how he wanted to be in the Hero Course.
I ignored everyone else. "Out of my way, extras," i said, making a path through the crowd of other students.
"There's no need to be rude, Kacchan," Deku floated next to me. I ignored him. "Look, being a hero is about making allies. You can't do that if everyone hates you," he muttered on. His words echoed in my head and I thought about what that was supposed to mean.
Later on the walk home, Deku gasped and started mumbling about something. "Look, nerd, if you're going to start your stupid muttering, at least let me know what the stupid muttering is about!" I yelled at him. "Well I was just thinking about how some of the events in the Sports Festival are mixed up, and since you won't know what to prepare for, it'd be better to prepare for anything, and with that in mind, you might have to fight against other students' Quirks. I think you should be most worried about Todoroki's fire and ice, though he doesn't seem to ever use his fire, I wonder why that is, then there's some other Quirks you should be wary of, like-" "FORGET I ASKED!" I yelled at him to shut him up. "But, Kacchan, I'm just trying to help," he said. "Keep your distance. Walk behind me." Deku sighed and floated behind me.
After a couple of weeks, the day finally arrived. Everything seemed to go by fast. I lost to half and half in the race by barely a hair. There was a cavalry battle, and i teamed up with raccoon eyes, tape Spider-Man, and stupid hair. Ginger teamed up with round face, some pink girl from a different class, and Big Bird.
(to save myself the details of writing out the whole sports festival, basically someone else convinces todoroki to use his fire i guess)
I WAS NOT GOING TO WIN THE SPORTS FESTIVAL LIKE THIS!! HALF N HALF DIDN'T EVEN USE HIS FULL POWER!! "Kacchan!! Please, calm down!!" Deku yelled at me as I tried to get myself out of the restraints that were put on me. All Might started to approach me with a medal, A GROSS MEDAL! "I DON'T WANT THAT ALL MIGHT! I CAN'T SEE THIS AS A WIN!" I shouted, but the old man decided to put the medal on me anyway. THE NERVE OF HIM! "Kacchan, come on, there's no way people are gonna want to scout you if you act like this!" Deku scolded. "Shut up, Deku," I mumbled.
After the award ceremony was over and I changed back into my school uniform, Ginger and Kirishima ran up to me. "Congrats on winning, Bakugou! I knew you could do it!" he said excitedly high-fiving me. "Yeah, your reaction to winning was a little bit inappropriate, but other than that it was so cool!" "Whatever, Ginger, don't tell me I won, there's no way I won!" I said back. "Kendou," she corrected. "I should head back, my parents are expecting me!" Kirishima said and waved goodbye handing each of us a slip of paper. "Oh, wait up! Bakugou, are you coming with us?" Ginger asked.
I was about to answer when my mother ran up to me and hugged me. "Oh, Katsuki, I'm so proud of you! You still need to work on your attitude but you won all the same!" she exclaimed, squeezing me tightly. "Get off me! And stop saying I won!!" I yelled back. "Kacchan, just accept the win," Deku complained. "You were amazing, Katsuki!" Dad came up to me and Mom, carrying a bag of my favorite spicy chips and handing them to me. I groaned while accepting the bag. "Come on, everyone thinks you did so well, you can't even take the compliment?" Deku asked. I glared at him to tell him to shut up.
I fell asleep on the car ride home. When we were almost at the house, I looked at the slip of paper Ginger and I got from Kirishima. It had his phone number on it. I took out my phone and typed the number in, creating a contact under the name "Stupid Hair". I texted him.
Katsuki Bakugou: hey stupid it's bakugou
A few minutes later I got a response
Stupid Hair: hi blasty! im kinda surprised you actually texted me haha
Blasty: What do you mean surprised did you think I was going to throw away your phone number or something?
Stupid Hair: yeah lmao
I put my phone away as I walked into the house. "Hey, Katsuki, can we talk?" Mom asked. I looked at her. "About what?" I questioned cautiously. Deku floated through the door. He saw my mom's intense face and floated upstairs instead.
"Katsuki, we're taking you to therapy. You're going to start after your hero internship coming up," she informed me. "Therapy?? Why?!" I yelled. "Well, for these anger issues you have. But before going all the way, we need a diagnosis," she said. "What are you diagnosing me for, old woman?! I'M PERFECTLY FINE!" I snapped. "Schizophrenia, Katsuki. Take this seriously."

Oh boy sorry for the long wait but now you get a longer chapter
Edit: just realized I've been inconsistent with Kendou's name spelling so it's probably going to be spelled like this for rhe rest of the book
