IF YOU TOLD Sylvia a year ago that she'd be talking to dead people, she would've laughed in your face and told you to fuck off.

When an accident in the Maze leaves Sylvia with the ability to see ghosts, things start to change. It starts with shadows moving in the dark, their taunting dances progressing into something demented. She's not sure if she should tell anyone about the long dead Gladers she sees walking around, about the voices that only she can hear. When it becomes more apparent that she's hiding something from everyone, people begin to question.

Has the only girl in the Glade gone crazy?

The only person who doesn't treat her like a complete basket case just happens to be the person she hates most.
