He walked down the streets after school finished, Scourge walked past the two ghosts at the cafe and  walked until he reached the alley way Scourge had gone past on my first day, he stopped and looked into the shadows, and my eyes met with the red and black eyes and the bloodied fur, he glared at the other looked at him

"I never got your name" Scourge said despite being terrified

"i told you not to come back" He hissed at me

"yeah well i don't listen to warnings" Scourge rolled his eyes "Plus I'm seeing people like you everywhere."

"People like me?" The other laughed "As if, no one can be like me"

"You really think that? and i don't mean exactly like you, i mean people who are dead" Scourge said, the other before him froze slightly, Before he continued glaring

"Don't say that word...." The bloodied hedgehog stated

"Wha-" Scourge had been cut off

"I hate it...I hate that fucking word!" The ghost yelled as dark red tears dripped down their cheeks as they held their head

"Sorry" Scourge said as he frowned

"Just...Just go" The other said lowly "And please don't come back...."

Scourge hesitated for a second, he wanted to say something, but he didn't know what to say, he suddenly heard footsteps behind him and he looked, he saw a hedgehog with miss coloured eyes, their fur was a dark shade of blue, it was darker than the ghosts, and lighter than the kid in his class, Dark. they looked kind of annoyed

"You shouldn't be down here" They spoke, the tone was mixed between annoyance and guilt?

"May i ask why?" Scourge said quietly, the older hedgehog paused

"Bad people come down here and hurt others" The other replied, Scourge thought for a second as he looked into the miss coloured eyes

"I'm guessing you lost someone down here...." Scourge said quietly and he saw something change in the older males eyes as he started growling

"Don't talk to me like you actually know what's going on" The other snapped

"You should just leave!" The ghost snapped at Scourge

"And why?" Scourge asked "Because i don't understand and i can see that something's haunting you" He snapped at the both of them, the older hedgehog was taken back and not realised it was aimed at him and a ghost he couldn't see 

"You wouldn't understand it at all kid" The adult muttered as they looked away

"try me" Scourge said "Cause you might be surprised" the other only glanced back over and stared at Scourge, and saw his expression was serious and determined

"What's your name?" They asked

"Scourge The Hedgehog, what about you?" Scourge replied

"...Demon" after that it was silence for a few minutes before Demon started explaining, the ghost only listened and didn't say a word, Scourge listened too and understood "We went out one night, and got into fight, he stormed out of the bar and i stayed and got drunk and went home...when i got there he wasn't there i just thought he'd gone to a friends house and went to bed, i woke up the day after, because there was knocking at the door, when i answered...a bunch of police were there, I was confused and annoyed, then they said they were 'sorry for your loss' thats when everything felt so wrong..." Tears had started falling from the other's eyes as he clenched his fists "They explained that the night before, when i was still at the bar, EXE ha'd been dragged down here by a group of people...they...they" Demon stopped and Scourge knew why, cause when he looked at the other, which he presumed was 'EXE' Demon's dead boyfriend "It was my fault, if i had gone after him then maybe he'd still be here and i would've been able to say that i was sorry..."

"It was something that was out of your control" Scourge frowned as he spoke carefully "If you knew it was going to happen, then it would've been different, but I'm sure he knows that your sorry and that you still care for him"

"The way you say it makes it sound like he's right here" Demon said bitterly

"He might be, we just wouldn't know would we?" Scourge gave a small smile

"Heh, your not bad kid, but you still shouldn't come back down here" the other stated

"Yeah well i might listen to that or i might not" Scourge shrugged before his phone went off and he saw that his mother was calling but also looked at the time "Shit" he said as he answered

"Scourge are you alright?" His mother asked worriedly

"Sorry i got distracted talking to someone" Scourge replied, "But i'm gonna head home now okay?"

"Alright sweetheart, just be careful, Love you" Scarlet sighed

"Love you too mum see you soon" Scourge said as his mother then hung up

"Come on, I'll walk you home, since you shouldn't be alone" Demon sighed

"You don't have to" Scourge said

"I insist, plus your the only one that actually listened" Demon said with s hint of a smile, Scourge only sighed and nodded, but as he glanced back into the alley as he and the other were walking out, he saw EXE staring at him, his expression was blank, but his eyes held something he couldn't quite see, he'd have to make note to come back tomorrow and hopefully not run into Demon again
