The Preeminent has just been released, Ronin's pawnshop bursting into little shards and bits of wood. We quickly run away, as something rises up from the destruction, something that looked like a germ, but with tentacles. Ew.

"Whoa!" Jay screams.

"What is that thing?" Kai asks.

"She's the Preeminent. The physical manifestation of the entire Cursed Realm." Zane answers.

"I know one thing, she ain't pretty." Cole comments, as she spits out thousands of Ghosts.

"Ew, gross! I'm about to lose my lunch." Jay groans.

"If we can't stop that, we might lose Ninjago!" Nya sprays some water on it, but nothing happens.

"Fire!"

"Lightning!"

"Ice!"

"Earth!"

"You don't need to shout out your elements when your using them!" I shout, projecting our powers at the monster, but she remains unaffected.

"She didn't notice that." Zane gasps.

"Oh, I hate unbeatable creatures." Jay groans.

"Well, then why don't we save the people?" I ask, pointing to the mass of people trying to flee the scene.

"Well, what do you want us to do?" Nya asks.

"I thought you were the leader?" I retort.

"That was Lloyd." Zane points out.

"Well I don't know!" I throw my hands in the air. "The only thing I know, it that we aren't doing much help arguing!" 

"Hey, everyone here expect you has lead the team before Kaylee." Cole comments.

"So?" I ask, unamused.

"It's your turn to lead." Kai replies.

"Come on Kaylee! What do you want us to do?" Jay asks. I ponder for a second, before deciding on the best route.

"Alright. I want Nya, Jay, and Kai on the-" I stare at the monster. "-thing. Make sure it doesn't harm the people. Zane, Cole, and I will try to help evacuate the people." They nod, and we go back to fighting. 

"Thank you." A woman says, as Zane saves her from the Preeminent's grasp.

"Get to the ship, hurry!" I yell, ushering two children toward the docks.

"I don't know how to stop this thing! It just keeps coming!" Jay yells.

Kai uses his Aeroblade to slice off her tentacle. "Ah, you stop one, two more grow in its place." Kai groans, as a tentacle shoots out and destroys Jay's vehicle. "If there ever was a time to unlock your True Potential, sis, it's now."

"Let me just flip the switch. Oh yeah, I'm not a Nindroid. I don't have a switch!" Nya snaps.

"If Ghosts can't withstand Deepstone, perhaps the same goes for the Preeminent. But we'll need a larger dose." Zane asks.

"My bike's made of Deepstone. How about I jam it down her gullet? Cover me!" Cole yells.

"Just go!" I sigh, as everyone looks at me for confirmation.

"Like cake? How's this for your pie hole? Ninja, go!" Cole lands the bike in the mouth of the Preeminent, but it does no damage. 

"Thanks, Cole. You only made her madder." Jay snaps.

"And there goes a perfectly good bike." Cole sighs.

"If Lloyd's inside that thing, we have to get closer!" I command.

"Yeah, easier said than done!" Jay yells.

"Okay. Everyone should be out of the way, so let's just focus our attention to restraining the Preeminent." I say.

"Alright." Kai nods. "Let's get closer."

~Time Skip~

"I thought you were gonna get closer?" Nya snaps. It had been a good 10 minutes, and we were losing. Very badly. We were so close to the dock, that Sensei, Ronin, and Misako had run in and helped us.

"You don't think I'm trying?" Kai asks.

"It's too late. We have to get to the ship and protect the people." Sensei shakes his head.

"But what about Lloyd?" I ask.

"This is what Lloyd would've wanted." Misako replies, as I sigh.

"To the ship, but we're not leaving anyone else behind!" I decide.

"Whoa!" Zane yells, as the Preeminent grabs Zane's Titan Mech, ejecting Zane from the mech. He quickly runs on the boat.

"Get us out of here Ronin." I order.

"No problem." Ronin cuts the rope with the Sword of Sanctuary. "Maybe one problem." He adds, as he sees Morro land in front of him, with us drifting away.

"It's Morro!" Cole gasps.

 "Look out, Ronin!" Jay yells.

"I'll get him." Kai's about to use Fire, but Morro blows him back.

"Go, get out of here! I got this!" Ronin yells, as they start fighting.

"We need to help him!" I say.

"We need to help the people!" Sensei retorts. Morro laughs as he disarms Ronin. Lloyd, in Garmadon's robes, jumps in and takes the sword. I gasp loudly, blinking twice. My boyfriend is awesome.

"What? You again?" Morro snarls. 

"Yeah, I'm back. I believe you have something of mine." Lloyd says, and Morro looks at the crystal and attacks him. "Try this!" Lloyd attacks Morro.

"Yeah, all right, Lloyd!" Jay cheers.

"Haha!" Kai laughs.

"You show him!" I yell.

"Look! He got his father's robes." Sensei gasps. 

"Ronin, get to the ship and protect the people. Ninja, take out the stilts. We need to drop the Preeminent into the sea." Lloyd commands.

"Ugh, why didn't you think of that earlier Kaylee?" Jay groans.

"Because! I'm the hardcore follower, y'all are mostly leaders." I point out. "I don't lead." 

"That's why he's the leader." Cole smiles.

"Ninja, go!" We use Airjitzu to return to the city, while Nya propels herself with water.

"Let's give that slimeball a bath." The guys use their Aeroblades to break the bridge.

"Come on Nya! Let's give the boys some cover!" I smirk, as we start attacking the Preeminent. 

"No, they're taking out the supports!" Morro yells.

"Ninja, go!" The guys yells, spinjitzuing through the stilts. They jump out, Airjitzuing to the boat, as I and Nya quickly follow. The Preeminent shrieks, as it touches water.

"Noooo! Protect the Preeminent! Protect the Realm!" Morro yells.

"Protect the Preeminent!" Archer dude yells, as the Ghosts surround the Preeminent with houses.

"Just when you thought you've seen it all." Jay groans.

"Let's hope it can't swim." Sensei replies.

"Come on, let's destroy some of those houses." I say, jumping out of the boat. I float slightly in the air, looking at their smirking faces. "What?" I ask impatiently.

"Are you sure you're a follower?" Cole asks.

"Yes, now let's go!" I snap, and we fly away. 

"We have to destroy that thing before it reaches the ship." Kai says, as we land on the docks. The Preeminent throws a house, making a huge wave.

"Take cover!" I yell.

"Pixal has detected over five hundred Ghosts aboard this walking fortress, and the number is climbing." Zane infoms.

"If we have to destroy this thing one ghost at a time, so be it." Cole says.

"Then I want a front row ticket." Kai climbs on the Preeminent. "Ninja, go!" We follow him with Arijitzu, attacking the Ghosts.

"Hey, guys. Need a hand?" Nya destroys a few ghosts.

"Thanks, Nya." Cole smiles.

"About time girl!" I cheer, and we high-five.

"Knock, knock!" Nya says, as the door swing open to show the rest of the guys.

"Come on in. Let's rock this house." Kai cheers.

"Doctor, it appears our patient needs to have his knee put on ice." Jay says.

"I'm happy to help." Zane uses his Ice, but the Preeminent breaks free and we scream as we're thrown around the house. She tries to walk on the water, but groans in pain.

"At least we know she's not getting past this point!" I comment. However, the Preeminent tries again and succeeds. "Nevermind."

"Kai, watch out!" Nya yells, as Kai slides dangerously close to the open door.

Kai falls off the house. "Aah!"

"I got you!" Cole yells, but Kai just passes through him. "Huh? I guess not."

"Ugh, no." Kai grabs on to a plank. "I can't swim!"

"I can't get wet!" Cole retorts.

"Kai! Shoot fire now!" Zane yells, poking his head out of the door.

"DON'T FALL OUT!" I yell.

"Fire!"

"Ice!" Their powers combine to create water, which dissolves Soul Archer.

"Yeah! Fire and Ice make water, nice! And one more Ghost is toast." Jay cheers.

"As iron sharpens iron..." Zane starts.

"Sibling sharpens sibling." Kai finishes as more Ghosts spawn out of the Preeminent.

"Aw, are you kidding me? Even our coolest moves aren't helping anything." Kai groans.

"I have an idea!" I yell, swinging my Deepstone rope at the Preeminent. It only scratches her, and the rope falls into the water, sinking quickly. "That didn't work." 

"We obviously aren't doing any good here. We need to protect the ship." Nya says.

"Ladies first." Jay replies.

"Ninja, go!" We retreat to the ship, landing on the back.

"If we're gonna destroy the Preeminent, we're gonna have to do more." Sensei says.

"Speaking of more, we need more fuel. If we turn back now, we'll have just enough to get us to shore. Otherwise, if we reach Hollow's Trench, we'll be sitting ducks out there." Ronin replies.

"Hollow's Trench. Do you think it's deep enough to drown that giant thing?" Kai asks, running to the front of the boat.

"One way to find out. Full steamer ahead!" Sensei yells, and the passengers scream as the Preeminent takes out the paddles.

"Oh, no!" Cole yells.

Morro laughs and checks the portal. "I did it. I finally got rid of you!"

"No!" I gasp, as suddenly water droplets rise around us. We race to the back of the ship.

"Morro?" Jay asks.

"Not Morro, Nya!" I gasp, as Nya rises up in a vortex of water.

"She's unlocked her True Potential!" Kai gasps.

"Nooooo! Nooo!"

Nya summons a giant wave which drowns the Preeminent, and everyone cheers. Sensei summons his dragon and flies out.

"Great job sis!" Kai cheers, as we all bring Nya in for a group hug. Sensei lands on the ship, and uses the Crystal to bring back Lloyd. He jumps out, with the Sword of Sanctuary, unharmed.

"Haha, all right!" Kai cheers.

Jay smiles. "Whoo, haha!"

"Lloyd, you made it!" Misako hugs Lloyd.

"And so did you." Lloyd smiles.

"You idiot! I swear, I need to put you in bubble wrap!" I huff. 

"Sorry Sunshine, traffic was murder." Lloyd smiles, bringing me in a hug. 

"Good to have you back. You just missed-" Zane starts.

"Oh, I know what I missed. I caught a glimpse of what would happen next-" Lloyd glances at the Sword of Sanctuary. "-and knew Morro had to return alone. Just 'cause I'm the Green Ninja, doesn't mean I have to save the day. Especially when I have friends to rely on."

"And that's why destiny chose you." Misako says.

"It appears your father's robe has imparted wisdom, but you still have a lot to master to earn the Sensei title." Sensei replies.

"If that's the path I'm on, I'll take it one step at a time. The Cursed Realm is gone...and so is my father...but I know we're all in a better place." Lloyd answers..

"Some of us may look a little different, but like our team, some things never change." Cole says.

"And if they do... that's okay. Sometimes, we just need to go with the flow." Nya says.

"'Cause even if the path isn't always straight, we go forward, with confidence, because we trust where we're headed." Kai says.

"Yeah, and speaking of where we're headed, I've been dying to know. What are the other Realms like, Lloyd? C'mon, spill it. We have to know what we're saving, right?" Jay asks.

"Ooh yeah!" I comment.

"Let's just say, the future looks bright. For us, and for Ninjago." Lloyd smiles.
