You wake up early the next morning,noticing Ghosti fidgeting at his desk.They notice that you're awake,and swiftly close their notebook.You walk up and put your hand on their shoulder.

Y/N:Can't sleep again?

Ghosti:Nah,I woke up,and couldn't fall back to sleep.

Y/N:You've seemed a bit off recently,something bothering you?

Ghosti:I don't want to talk about it.

Y/N:You sure..Is it something with Meggy?

Ghosti looks at you,and blushes.

Ghosti:...It's just that..nevermind.

Ghosti begins to pick at one of the stickers on their notebook.

Y/N:You like her,don't ya?

Ghosti goes silent,before cleaning up their desk,and ignores your question.He slips into a hoodie and ties his shoes.

Y/N:You going somewhere?

Ghosti opens up the window,handing you their skateboard.

Ghosti:Yep.Can you toss that down to me once I hit the ground?

You look in confusion,before nodding.

Y/N:Where are you going?

Ghosti:I'm heading over to Beta's,and am gonna toss a splat-bomb into his window.

Y/N:Really?

Ghosti:No,I'm going to Meggy's.I just realized she left something here.

Before you can respond,Ghosti hops out of the window,and does a few tricks.

 Ghosti:Board,please!

You toss the skateboard,and Ghosti catches it,and skates away.

You shut the window,a bit confused,You walk over to Ghosti's desk,and pick up their notebook.You hesitate opening it,but you end up doing so.It's full of doodles,and some writing.

Upon further inspection,you realized it's several drafts of a love letter,with a page torn out at the end and all of the names crossed out with Marker..

Y/N:Huh...

-Meanwhile,with Ghosti-

Ghosti:Hey,Beta,you out here?

Beta:Yep,what's up.

Ghosti:Do you happen to know where Meggy's apartment is?

Beta:Yeah,why?

Ghosti pulls out a device..

Ghosti:She left her phone at my and Y/N's place.

Beta:That's all?

Ghosti doesn't respond.

Ghosti: Can you just show me?

Beta:Yeah,you got a light?

Ghosti pulls out a lighter.

Ghosti:That's all I got.

Beta looks at Ghosti,confused.

Ghosti:For my candles.Y/N never lets me light em.

Beta:Ooooohh.Thought you were like me for a sec.

Ghosti rolls his eyes,and picks up his skateboard.The two start walking into the city,and Ghosti impulsively starts holding Beta's hand.

Beta:You're gay as hell.

Ghosti lets go..

Ghosti:My bad.

They continue walking,taunting the pace the other person's going.

Ghosti:Slow down a tad,you late to snuggling with Tari,or somethin'?

Beta:Maybe- But you need to pick up pace,tryin' to prove to Meggy that you'll take things slow?

Ghosti:Fuck you.

Beta:Fuck you too.

Ghosti gets back on their skateboard,and moves at Beta's pace.

A few minutes later,they arrive,and Ghosti knocks on Meggy's door.Beta walks off.

Beta:Good luck.

The door opens to a very tired looking Meggy.

Meggy:Ghosti?

Ghosti:Hey..

Meggy hugs Ghosti tightly,and invites them in.

Meggy:What are you doing out this late?

Ghosti:I couldn't sleep,and you left your phone at my place yesterday.

Meggy:Oh,Thanks,Ghosti..You want something to drink?

Ghosti:Sure.

Ghosti and Meggy chill out under a blanket..A note falls out of Ghosti's pocket..and Meggy picked it up..

Ghosti:Ehh,don't read that.

Meggy:Why not?

Ghosti:I'll just show you..

Meggy:Huh?

Ghosti kisses Meggy on the cheek.

Meggy:Oh..

Ghosti: Sorry,I'll go..

Meggy:It's okay,if you'd like,you can stay the rest of the night..

The two embrace eachother,and fall asleep on Meggy's couch.
