Episode 3

Bio: When a house party that leaves a 13 year old girl dead, soon comes back to hunt Avery Wilkins, a now frantic Avery search for answer from grace when bad things starts to happen to her.

• Gabrielle's
dance recital •

" oh my gosh Drew I can't believe our little girls is doing this" I said with all smiles now getting the camera right.

Andrew began to fiddle with his tie again as he was so uncomfortable and it was showing.

" yes I'm excited for her" he grunted as his attention was on that blue tie.

" stop it, you won't be in it for long"

" oh really" he sneered

Nudging him in his muscular arm, I grew excited all over again when I saw Melissa and Kent walking over.

" you guys made it!"  I said with vibration in my voice.

Melissa flip her curls causing it smack kent right in his face. " of course we did I couldn't miss my little niece prance around that stage without me"

Kent cleared his throat as he pulled a small strand of Mel hair from out his mouth.

" when does it start?" He asked now shaking hands with Drew.

" probably in the next ten minutes. If you all are hungry they have a mini snack bar out the doors to your left.

Melissa waved me off as she placed her purse inside kent lap.

" oh no thanks, me and hubby stop at outback before coming here. This little one was very much hungry"

We all looked over at mel who was rubbing her growing belly bump.

All kent could do was shake his head with a smile causing a chain reaction for us to do the same.

" I hope I wasn't so dramatic as she making it" I whisper to Andrew.

He lean over enough to where his lips was near my ear.

" oh, you was ten times worse, only thing about that was your able to see ghost.. she's doesn't"

I looked at Andrew who had a brow heightened as if he made a validated point

And he did.

" whatever" I said brushing it off before putting my attention back on the stage.

" good afternoon to all of the wonderful and proud parents of our ballerinas, our faculty and staff, and our growing community of children who is attending  mayflower elementary school"

She stop as Everyone was allow to applaud and cheer.

" my name is principal Akins, and I stand before you all today to introduce you to our ballerinas who has a special performance to show you all. I'm so excited to present them to you all as I'm sure your excited parents to see your babies up here delivering a wonderful dance. So without further ado I will like present to you all our ballerinas at this time"

We all continue to clap and cheer as the curtains drew back and the beautiful little girls was standing waving at us.

Me along with Andrew, Kent, and Mel stood up to our feet as we spotted Gabrielle front and center waving at us.

" that's my baby, go gabby" I shouted

" alright gg make daddy proud" Andrew added

Moments later everyone took their seats as the music was starting to began.

I position my camera so that I could capture everyone dancing and it was going so well.

As I recorded a swift of wind went pass my lenses.

Looking up to make sure I wasn't tripping I didn't see anyone making an appearance on the stage.

As I looked back into the camera I gasp for air.

There I was watching a little girl who could possibly be in her teens standing on stage with the dancers.

" Grace what's wrong? Drew asked as he place his hand on mines.

" there's another girl on stage with them, she's just standing there beside gabby"

I looked over a drew who scooted a little further on the edge of his seat.

I then took my eyes off the camera for a moment to take a look on stage but she wasn't there.

" where is she now?"

" Im not sure she not there anymore" I answer as I was still alarmed.

" hey what's going on?" Asked Melissa

" um, there's a spirit that just standing on the stage, she's not doing anything" I whispered back

" what?, why is she here then?" Said Melissa

I looked back into the camera as she was still there.

Her attention soon went up to me as a grin formed on her face.

" Andrew" I said now worried that she was about to do something bad.

I grip tightly onto his arm as I stood up not caring at the moment of who vision I was blocking.

" you leave her alone" i said In a tone where I'm sure she heard me.

Her appearance was now very much clear to me and I noticed that her neck was broken in two different places and she had many bruises over her body.

Without a word she remain behind Gabrielle just following her every move

Until she wasn't.

" Drew!,.... gabby! "

" huh?" He said looking up at me

Now panicking I drop the camera as I sprinted towards the stage.

" grace, what the..."  Andrew soon ejected from his seat now following down behind me.

" gabby!, gabby!" I repeated as I was now standing closer to the stage.

" mommy?" She said now stopping in the middle of the dance

Everyone else continued to float and dance around her.

" come on baby we have to go" I said looking around to see if I seen the girl.

" why? I'm not done"

" Grace come on we are not supposed to be doing this right now"

" I don't care Andrew my daughter is in danger, let's go baby" I extended my arms out for her as the principal and others was looking at me

" ma'am you can't just..."

" she's my daughter and we're leaving" I said cutting her off.

" damnit grace" Andrew mumble under his breath as we was walking back to the aisle with all the attention on us.

Melissa and Kent soon followed behind.

As we exit the doors gabby was in tears as I continue to power walk until I reach the front entrance and was now outside.

" Grace stop!" Andrew demanded.

Coming to a halt I exhale out loud now waiting to see what he wanted.

" what?, she was in danger and that girl looked very dangerous. She was going to harm gabby and after that last pull that one of those ghost did to her I refuse to let it happen again."  I cried.

" I understand that, but you can't just bombard that stage the way you did snatching up a child causing a scene"

" are you really hearing yourself right now Drew. That's my daughter up there with a evil presence that I'm not even sure what was about to happen next. I get it you don't like that she's this way"

" grace you know that's not fair. Look on the outside of things I had to be the one to protect and try to fight off ghost that I can't see to again, keep my daughter and  my wife safe. So yeah I don't like the fact that our daughter has your gift it's impossible to handle"

Placing gabby down she ran over towards her aunt as Kent soon walked over.

" uh If you want I can take her with us just for the night" Kent offered

"No! , that won't be necessary" drew said

" acutely yes. It would be necessary just until I can get an understanding of who this ghost is and what she wants"

Andrew frown his brows at me with disappointment as he placed his hands on his hips.

He then paced back and forth as I brush past him to make sure that Melissa has everything they needed for her.

" I'm sorry for what happen in there" I apologize.

" stop grace. We get it you was doing what felt right. Believe me I pray that this little one doesn't take on after you. no offense"

I giggle "non-taken, I don't won't he/she having this gift either"

" alright gabby you be good for auntie Mel and uncle kent okay and I'll see you in the morning"

" okay mama. Oh when I was dancing my neck felt funny"

I sigh as I push some of her soft hair out of her face.

" it's okay, you won't have to worry about that ever again"

" okay"

Closing the car door I gave their trunk a tap before standing back and watching them drive off.

Once I no longer saw the vehicle  I turn around to see Andrew in the truck on his phone.

I'm sure he was going into work tonight and right now I could use that space.

I knew this car ride was about to be a very long.

" I wasn't going to hurt her" a cracked up voice spoke to me

Turning around to make out the voice it was the same girl i saw on the stage.

" I would tell you that right now is not a good time but I can't, so what's your name?, and why haven't you crossover yet?" I said wiping away my tears.

" it's Susie, and I wanted to, but the way I died was humiliating and I want her to suffer the way I did for those 12 long and painful minutes. So because of that I tried to avoid the  light that I keep seeing."

" well you shouldn't, it's for you to go inside of it"

I could tell she was getting upset about everything all over again.

The air was started to get thicker as my neck was feeling achy and painful.

" listen I'm sorry for what happen to you, but just give me by tomorrow to try and get things handle"

" you better do something because the longer you take, the longer I make her suffer every chance I get."

Then Susie vanish.

I rubbed my neck down as the pain was still there and before she could come back I walked over and enter the vehicle.

" I have to go in to work when we get back, don't wait up for me I'm not sure how long I'll be gone"

Not responding to him I just rested my head up against the window.

Anytime we fight he always would find a way to get out of it instead of making it right.

So as he run towards his comfort zone, I'll just do the same.
