Episode 2

Bio: When an unknown ghost who jaw was severely broken and head bashed In appears to grace for answer she must try to figure out who is responsible.

" Andrew do you have the snacks?" I asked as I scrambled through gabby book bag.

" yeah, i put them in the bigger part" he said while trying not to take his eyes off the road.

We was on our way to visit my sister Melissa and her husband.

When me and drew decided to make our move to a bigger city mel wanted to be apart of that as well.

Now both our husband where captain of the fire team.

How amazing was that.

" hold on gabby mama Looking for your crackers" i said trying to keep her calm.

Gabrielle was never a huge fan of long trips.

Even though my sister only stayed just 23 mins away from us, gabby would always get real anxious and fidgety.

We never really understood why she was like that, but with having her favorite snacks along she would eventually be more comfortable and at ease.

" mama my mouth hurts" she cried out in pain.

" babe I'm not sure where she's getting this tooth ache from. You think it's that time for her to start loosing teeth?." Asked Andrew.

" maybe, I'll have to schedule her an appointment this week"

Now finding what I've been looking for, for the last ten minutes I turn back around to the backseat before the crackers drop from out my hands.

A loud yelled followed afterwards causing Andrew to swerve and pull over.

" what!, what is it grace!?" He ask putting the car in park

" you get away from her. You hear me!" I yelled out.

Drew then unbuckle his seatbelt to see me yelling at an empty seat next to gabby.

For us he was just sitting there plain as day.

" help me! He will strike again" the blood started oozing out from his mouth and the teeth came right after.

Gabrielle began to scream as she rush towards the front seat.

" I got you baby, I got you" Andrew said

With him embracing gabby into his arms I remain turn around.

" what's your name?" 

" Colton.... Colton Dimery, ple...." Before he was able to finished his jaws broke open and just as I yelled out gabby did the same.

She shoved her face into Andrew shirt as he held on tightly to her before using his other hand to hold on to me.

" do we need to leave the car here?, whatever is back there is scaring our daughter and you" he said furious.

I looked over at Andrew who face  was a dark red.

He was pissed, and so was I.

I knew it was only a matter of time before gabby drew a picture of the spirit but for now she was too shook up.

" I...I don't know he's..." I turn back to the backseat and he was no where in sight.

Turing back around I just looked around the car as I felt no sign of a ghost with us.

" he's gone, we should get going before he comes back." I suggested

" you right, get back in your seat for me gg we are almost there"

Maybe that's the reason for gabby fear of being in the car, because of ghosts that would appear throughout the car ride.

• Melissa and Kent Home •

Andrew pulled into the driveway of my sister home and I really was impressed at what they did to the place.

This would be our first time visiting their new spot since the move and I was so excited.

With her still begin a professor at the college, and with Kent new position it was hard to ever find a day to visit them.

Since everyone was off which barely happens we decided to plan a family day.

Which involves some beers for the fellas, wine for the ladies, juice for gabby, and some food on the grill

Gosh that already sounds all too good.

Not even able to get out the car good enough Melissa open the front door wider than a football field as she already had her arms extended.

" oh my gosh grace!!! What are you guys doing here?" She asked in shock.

I wanted to keep our pop up a secret, and I smiled as I watch kent with a big smile on his face as well come walking behind mel.

He knew about the plan and he did a very good job keeping it hidden.

As Andrew headed to the trunk to gather our overnight bags I walked over to the backseat to help gabby out.

" oh where's auntie sweet baby girl at" Melissa said as her face was gleaming with joy.

Closing the door my own eyes grew ten times there size as I looked down and notice something very different with my sister.

" Mel" I said

" yes grace" she laughed.

All I could do was stare as I was speechless.

" auntie Melissa is big" gabby added before running over to get into kent warm embrace.

Throwing Gabrielle book bag over my shoulders I just couldn't believe it.

" wow Melissa, congratulations!" Andrew said as he was now standing by my side.

" thank you, we wanted to keep this little bundle of joy a secret but when I saw you guys pull into the driveway I was just as in shock as your faces are now" she explain.

" wait, so now I'm going to be an aunt"

" we should talk more inside it's getting kinda warm standing underneath the sun, plus I have some fresh drinks chilling in the cooler, and some burgers on the grill" Kent informed

" burgers, you know i love the sound of that" Andrew added while rubbing his growling stomach.

Nodding my head Andrew and I follow them both into their home.

As everyone became relax, we sat out on the shielded back porch.

I was in my husband arms and Mel was doing the same.

" wow she's growing up so fast, I remember when she was just in newborn diapers at the hospital" Melissa reminisce

Grabbing a hold of my cup that was filled with wine, I held it up to my lips as we all watched gabby played in the yard.

" I got Andrew to blame for that, I feel like she might take his height" I added to the conversation.

" well not exactly she has your short legs" Kent joked.

Everyone busted into laughter as I turn my head to look out at her.

" haha, very funny I have you know these short legs are good for kicking butt"

Kent threw his hands up as a surrender before adjusting Melissa a bit more comfortably on his lap.

" so have you guys came up with a name yet? Andrew question

" uh, not yet but we have a lot of thinking to do. Beside Mel wants the gender to be a surprise for the family"

As everyone continue to talk I glanced over to gabby who was now standing over by the bushes.

With her back being turn towards us I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and curious.

" hey babe, I'll be right back" I said softly tapping Andrew arm for him to release me from his lap.

" oh yeah sure"

Standing to my feet I lean down as our lips connected before I lifted my dress up a little to walk over their shoes.

Pressing on the screen door handle I let myself out as I use my right hand to shield me from the scorching sun.

" Gabrielle?" I said while heading her way.

She remain with her back turn towards me not saying a word.

" hey gabby, what you doing?, you wants some food?. Uncle kent just pulled some hot dogs off the grill?" I question.

Still not getting a response, I decided to walk around now to met her face to face.

When I did I let out a gasp as I didn't like what I was seeing.

" Colton if that's you please leave my daughter alone. You don't belong here, do you see a light?"

Gabby finally looked at me as her eyes was rolled to the back of her head, with spots of blood from a vessel that may have pop, and her jaw was broken.

" the light, please how can I be at any peace when the person who did this to me is out there enjoying his life. Either you make him pay or I'll keep haunting your sweet Gabrielle" he said in a sinister manner.

" you leave my little girl out of this you hear me,you deal with me" I said now inclining my voice.

" tic toc, tic toc,"

Gabby than started to do this ominous laugh and I called out for Andrew.

Her body soon collapsed onto the grass now going into shock.

" drew!!, Drew, help!!" I scream now dropping next to her.

" Grace! What's going on" Andrew said running over

Moments later kent came after as Melissa stayed back.

" he... he was inside her Andrew. Ghost have never been able to get so attached in a way where they could possess someone, and yet he..he wa...was" I started to stumble on my words

As I tried to make sense of it all, kent scoop gabby into his arms now taking her back inside.

Andrew remain with me to keep me calm and for once I was scared.

" i don't care what they do to me, but to possess my daughter that's unacceptable"

I tried to catch my breath, but when I'm up against an evil spirit who wants to cause harm to my family that's when it becomes alarming and a problem.

" we should just go back inside, and check on gg I'm sure she's doing okay." Andrew console me.

" yeah you right" wiping away my tears we headed back towards the house, and I could see the look on Melissa face that she wasn't to happy about what happened at her home.

The home where she would soon be raising a child of her own.

" grace what the hell just happened out there and with gabby?" She asked in a nervous wreck.

" Mel the less you know the better. I'm really not trying to ruin this day with our personal things"

" personal things?.... Grace what are you talking about we are family that's my niece in there that I witnessed for myself laid out in our grass having some sort of seizure"

I don't blame mel at all for being worried but I also knew she didn't want to hear the reason for gabby episode.

So for now this conversation was going to have to come to a halt.

" Mel.... I really need to go check on her" i said sadden

" fine, go, I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually"

I looked back as she sat back down in the chair taking a few sips of water.

With Andrew hand still in mines we headed into the home and towards gabby.

Gosh I was just hoping for a nice peaceful day with my family and it was already going left.

Thanks for this hell of a gift/curse.
