Ep 3 ( part 2 )

~ The Next Morning ~

It was still raining out and the sun was definitely in for the day. Moving around I noticed the sheets was flat.

Lifted my head Andrew was no where in sight.

" of course, he's probably pulling a double" rolling out of bed I slip my toes into my slippers as a knock on the door broke my daze.

" come in" I said.

Melissa peak her cute little head inside with a big smile on her face, but once she came inside it completely went away.

" awe what's the matter with the bride to be." I said while patted the other side of the bed.

She walked over dragging her feet before flopping down on the now messed up sheets.

" uhhh you didn't tell me that Kent would be pulling double shifts... I'm miss my baby" she moan.

I smiled as I was starting to get use to my husband being gone all day and night.

" awe poor baby you'll definitely get use to it."

" but I don't want to get use to it... I miss having someone laying next to me" she pretended to cry which made me giggle even more.

" watch they both will be home before we know so on that case we should have a nice warm dinner waiting for them later on.. deal"

She nodded her head before her attention glance upon the open laptop.

" oh my damn... who's that she looks super creepy"

Closing the laptop I looked back at my sister who face was still in shock.

" she's someone that I'm doing a project on now do you need anything else" I said a little irritated.

" well not really but I could use a cup of coffee"

Shaking my head I placed my pen down.

" it's in the kitchen Mel, coffee in the cabinet the creamer is the fridge have at it"

I was trying my best to push her  out my room now and she obeyed.

" fine since my sister doesn't want me in her room I'll go make some coffee... two cups at that" she bragged before walking out.

" drink up then" I laughed before pulling the laptop back up.

Once the door closed I began to read about the tragic accident.

*Maria stone a local women  found with  eyes missing from head*

I Continue to read the article.

* The 45 year old women, was found with a stab wound to the back of the head and her eyes missing just days after a car crash causing injuries that sent another women and her daughter to the hospital and her own daughter suffering minor cuts and bruising.

I stop In my tracks as I scrolled down a little more to see the other victims involved in the car crash.

The victims involved was senator Mary collins, and daughter Sofia collins along with Maria stone and Daughter Kelly knight.

Sitting on my bed I knew that I had to speak with Kelly again.

~ Katie's cafe ~

The wind chimes went off as I enter the cafe this time on a mission.

" look she over there working tell her"

Rolling my eyes I smiled and kept walking as I had Maria down my back.

" I will you just have to be patient" I whisper under my breath.

" i don't have time for patience what I need is for you to tell my daughter that she's in danger"

" listen I'm doing a job and once we get everything figure out your job will be to find the light and go into it "

Forgetting where I was at I scratch my head and looked around as I had dozen of eyes now pinned on me.

" sorry was practicing for a play" I lied.

Everyone then continue doing what they was doing as I felt my arm getting yank and pulled towards the back.

" what the hell are you doing at my job again? Do I need to call the cops? " Kelly threaten.

" no and I promise I'm not stalking but I have to ask you something."

" you have three minutes I have costumers out there to serve" she said folding her arms.

I reach into my pocket while unfolding an article.

" do you know who these people are?"

Without even looking at the page she shook her head.

" no I don't now if you excuse me I have work to tend to..."

" Please just look again" I begged while blocking her way.

To my surprise Maria came through me and grip her hands around her daughter before sitting her down in the chair.

Kelly eyes grew enormously big as I was still standing.

" how...wha.. what did you do to me" she said scared to even get up.

" I didn't do anything your mother did, And right now you are in danger Kelly I need to know if you know the people in the photo."

Passing it over to her she was hesitant to take it from out my hand but she eventually did.

She then looked up at me " if my mother is really hear then ask her what's the tattoo on my back"

I looked over at Maria who smile to herself. " tell her it's a poem that her father wrote her called "my butterfly" before he passed away"

" your mother said it was as poem that your father wrote Called my little butterfly before he passed away"

She gasp before reaching her hand behind her back and a tear slip out her eyes.

" she's really here isn't she" she sniffle.

I nodded my head. " yes she is but right now she can't crossover until she knows your safe from whoever that's trying to harm you someone in this photo Kelly"

As she tried to focus she look backed at the photo.

" yeah I know them...well the senator daughter she was my college roommate"

" do you happen to know what caused You guys accident?" I asked.

" uh..."

" Kelly please now more than ever I need to know"

" I caused the crash. I was drinking and my mother was sleep. I was going through a lot and I forgot that I was driving and I lost control of the wheel"

" what happen to the senator or her daughter do you know"

Kelly shook her head. And I knew exactly where I needed to go and fast.

" Kelly whatever you do please stay in this building I'm going to call my husband and he will watch you"

I knew she was confuse but she was innocent and I needed Mary to know that.

Putting my car in the wind I needed to get to the senator office fast.

I needed to let mary know that Kelly didn't mean for the crash to happen.

Putting my car into park i quickly left out leaving the vehicle running.

Bursting into the office everyone looked at me as if I was displace in the wrong setting.

" Um ms can we help you" a lady ask giving me a disgust look.

" please I'm looking for a Mary Collin"

No one said anything but just stared at me.

" NOW! Where is she" I raised my voice.

" she's in the back" the lady said again and her body language said it all that I wasn't welcome here

" thank you"

Stomping my heels towards her office I open her door as not only Mary was Inside but her daughter was with her.

" stop I know what you both are about to do and trust me it's not worth it"

They both looked at each other than back at me.

" who the hell are you?" Sofia blurted.

" it doesn't matter but I know what you guys are planning and Kelly doesn't deserve her life ruined because yours was"

" aha you don't know the half of what my daughter had to go through do you" Mary said before placing a gun down.

" I don't but if you both can come with me I can take you to Kelly and you all can talk"

" I don't want to talk to that bitch. she took my sight from me, But it's okay Someone very nice donated their eyes so that I could have second chance at life."

" no Sofia." I interrupted.

" your mother took someone's life, gave you her eyes and now her daughter is without a mother because yours was selfish. do you know who it was" I asked her.

" no" she said with attitude.

" Kelly knight mother. You know your college roommate"

After saying that Sofia whole demeanor changed as her mother was lost for words as she should be.

Before I could say another word Andrew was walking in with Kelly by his side.

With a smile I turn around to them before back at Mary and her daughter.

" is that true did you kill my mother just so your daughter could see again" Kelly question Mary who was now shut mouth.

I know she feels backed up in a corner she has every right to feel that way.

Just as I moved to allow them both to come inside Maria appeared lol she was so much beautiful.. with her eyes.

" I... I wanted my daughter to see again" she stated

" so taking my mother away from me was your way of doing that."

" it's your fault that my daughter was even in that damn accident and lost her sight"

" BUT THAT WAS MY MOTHER!!" Kelly cried.

" this whole time I thought it was someone that wanted her money like a burglary gone wrong but the whole time it was you"

Tempers was flaring before everyone jump as the windows slammed shut and the door closed behind us and locked.

I looked to see Maria standing next to her daughter.

" tell Mary that I'm not upset anymore at what she did because I know why she did it but that wasn't the way"

" what the hell just happen" Mary asked while looking around.

" it was Maria she's here with us.. right now"

" she also told me to tell you Mary that she understands why you did what you did but that wasn't the way"

Mary chuckled before lifting her hands and slapping them down towards her legs.

" well it was the way for me and I'm sorry that I did what I did to you but my daughter needed her sight she had so much going for herself."

" you're so pathetic and should be locked away like the animal that your are" Kelly said with rage.

" like I said I'm sorry but when I found out that my daughter was blind while you the drunk walk away without any harm I was furious, I wanted revenge"

" but mom you took someone's mother.. she was my best friend and you took her mother away and I now have her eyes" Sofia was now In tears and I felt mines starting to come.

But I managed to keep my composure.

" hear I am listening to you thinking that I should kill her daughter and for what you already got your revenge"

" but Sofia this was all for you.. I did this all for you sweetie you can see again" she tried reaching for  Sofia hands but she pushed her away.

" if this is how I received my eyes then I rather be blind. You turn me against the one friend that I had. I was ready to kill her for what she took from me but you got even by taken something from her"

I looked over at Maria who was just watching everything unravel.

" is.. my mother still here Grace ?" Kelly asked softly.

I nod my head yes.

" well i would like to say something first" sofia announced.

" mrs stone on behalf of my mother actions I would like to give you a strong deeply apology from the bottom of my heart that I am so sorry for what you had went through. I don't deserve your eyes and I hope that you can forgive me for what I thought was going to be doing the right thing but instead it wouldn't have solve anything."

I watch as Sofia walked over to embrace Kelly Into her arms as they both cried together.

Pushing my tears away Andrew came over to embrace me into his arms.

" tell sofia that I accept her apology and all I wanted is for her to forgive my daughter not punish her"

" Sofia Maria wanted you to know that she accepts your apology and all she wanted was for you to forgive her daughter for a actions not punish her"

" it's Okay mom I forgive her"

Maria smiles before walking over as she stroke the side of Kelly face.

Kelly lifted her hand to her cheek before tears came afterwards.

" tell my butterfly that I love her and me and her father will be watching over her." She then turn her head before a warm smile took over.

" so that what I'm walking into because If so then it's so beautiful" said Maria.

" it's the light and yes that's where you belong"

" wait is Maria still here?" Ask Mary.

I gave a short nod.

" Maria I want to say that I'm truly am sorry for my selfish act and I deserve everything that's about to happen to me"

Maria nodded her head before walking over and her winds brush pass everyone's face.

" she's gone" I said before rested my head on drew.

As the doors open up the cops was taking away Mary as her daughter was still holding on to Kelly.

Allowing them to talk drew, and I gave them some privacy.

" have I ever told you that I love what you do" he said before plucking my nose.

" Nope but I'm glad To hear it" I said as he embrace me back into this loving arms.
