Episode 7

Bio: Grace helps a woman who is desperately trying to find her Husband after their car gets thrown off The bridge.

" can you believe that Melissa actually wants me to get dress up for a damn house warming party" I vented to Andrew as I brush my hair forcefully.

He gave me the side eye before biting into a fresh green apple.

" think about it...dressing up just to eat some food, seems fun and exciting to me"

I tried to tune him out as food and parties was always Andrew favorite thing to do.

I walked towards the mirror before tugging at my outfit for the fifth time.

" babe does this outfit makes me look... you know" I said tilting my head to get a better look.

" you look absolutely amazing. You look even more amazing with it off" he said kissing my bare shoulder that was revealed.

" you sure it's not to boss like"

" you are a boss now come on I'm starving" he said walking out the bedroom and jingling the keys on the way down the steps.

I had no time to change for the sixth time so I guess this outfit was going to have to work.

Cuffing my bracelet around my ankle I lean down to see a paper hanging out of Andrews work pants pocket.

Sitting on the bed contemplating on whether or not I should look at it I did anyway.

Biting my lip i unfolding the paper and wasn't even at the name before I heard loud thumping of feet coming back up the steps.

Quickly shoving it back inside the pants I stood up and walked as I met Andrew at the doorway.

" oh I was just on my way" I said shaky.

" oh no actually I came back to grab my work phone never know when the cap may need me"

" of course" I frown before walking out behind him.

~ The Party ~

I held onto Andrew hands as my sister new home was a bit to crowded then I was expecting.

" people around here sure know how to welcome a new neighbor" Andrew said while taking a drink from off the waiters plate.

Quickly snatching the drink from out his grip I frown my face.

" what was that about?.."

" it's a little to early to be drinking beside you never know when your boss may call you right" I reminded him

He sigh but very softly as we enter the home.

" Grace come here for a moment" Melissa said while spotting me before I could have even gotten the chance to disappear.

" I'll be right back" I said turning around to face drew but he waved me off.

" go, I'll be fine trust me I see the food table" he chuckled before leaving me.

Walking towards her and the group of fresh neighbors I was offer a drink.

" you guys this is my gorgeous sister Grace myers  she is the one that help me find this perfect home, and her husband... that's probably at the food table"

Everyone laugh before I took a sip of the wine.

" you did an excellent job with this home. It's a great neighborhood" one of the lady's said.

" thank you,  it wasn't all my doing you have to also give my wonderful sister Melissa some credit as well"

As we all talked amongst each other I thought I could use some air.

" hey didn't think I would find you out here so early"

I looked up to see kent walking my way with a slice of cake.

" Oouu chocolate?" I ask before he turn  the plate my direction

" triple chocolate actually, so Um I wanted to apologize to you"

I looked over to give him a puzzled look.

" sorry?... for what"

" with the question I asked you a couple days ago with the whole ghost thing"

" oh" I smiled " it's totally fine Andrew was upset that's all and he just said whatever came to his mind"

" right" he said unsure " but you know I'm here if you do want to talk about that"

" I can assure you that there is nothing to talk about with that situation. But there is something that kinda trigger me"

" shoot" he said before leaning against the car.

" two nights ago when me and Mel found you guys dream home she purchased some alcohol to celebrate"

I looked over again and his face drew red very quickly.

I could see his jaws clenching but he tried to keep a calm face for me and it wasn't working.

" did she now... I didn't know that"

" yeah but she acted really strange we when pulled into the home and I told her that you and drew got off a little early. I know it's none of my business but is there something going on that I should be concerned about?"

He exhale before clearing his throat.

" I think I should uh head back into the party but I brought this cake out for you"

I gave a short grin before taking the plate out his hands.

"Thanks"

He looked back once more before entering the home and I watch drew follow him with to beers.

" excuse me" a soft but elegant voice spoke to me.

Turing around I smiled before placing the cake on the hood of my car.

" oh hi are you with the neighbors I can walk you In"

" actually dear I'm not. But I heard you can help people"

Not sure where this was heading I kinda  lost my appetite for my dessert.

" well technically i sorta help people that...." It was hard to explain as she was already looking a bit confused.

" okay is there something I could help you with?"

" well we was driving and the car flip"

" wait I'm not following.. you said that your car flip"

" yes" she said.

As I looked down to see her clothes was bloody and when she step a little more into the light she had many scrapes and bruises down her arms and legs.

I covered my mouth before looking back at the home.

" exactly where did you flip and you keep saying we is there someone else's that's hurt"

She started sniffing before tears came out.

" yes" she nodded " my husband was still in the car, but I was able to escape"

" and where is the car now ma'am"

" over the bridge"

I gasp as I walked off rushing back to get Andrew.

With so many people just lurking and talking and standing around I was getting dizzy.

I felt like I was on a ride that kept going in circles I was started to feel sick.

Looking harder I noticed he was talking with Melissa, Kent, and few other folks.

My heels was making the loudest noise at this point causing everyone to look my way.

Andrew stood from off the arm of the chair with fear that something bad happen.

" babe what wrong"

" it's the women outside"

I knew i wasn't making much sense right now but Andrew wasted no time rushing out the doors.

Kent soon followed behind as I walked out with my arms folded as they talk to the women.

" we need a paramedic now!" Andrew said before Melissa pulled out her phone to call the rescuers.

" hey.. that's my wife" a raspy voice blurted out.

I turn my head to see him soaked in water I assume but he seems to still be alive like his in the inbetween.

" wait...she looking for you do you know where you are"

He was trying to think but he knew it was hard for him.

" she's alive" he said

" yes she is and right Now our mission is to find you...sir"

I looked around me to not feel his presence anymore.

Turning back to Andrew who was looking at me I had the look that he wasn't hoping for.
