.5. Hotel Obsidian
Concern bubbled up in the cauldron of Klaus' stomach, like a witches brew had gone wrong. It had been an hour, where is Libitina? She should have come back by now.
Klaus stood, leaving his unfinished food on the table as his worry for his sister won him over, ignoring Five and Luthers questions as to where he was off too. Klaus had never moved faster in his life, at least in his mind.
He left the hotel and began his search, not caring if he bothered people by asking if they have seen her, which got him a few weird glances because to that timeline she was still laying six feet under ground in an iron casket.
Maybe that's how he found her, still on her knees with gentle sobs escaping her shuttering form, not acknowledging the group of awed people looking at the supposedly dead hero.
"Libi..." Klaus' voice was gentle as always, kindly cooing at the blonde to bring her back into the present and out of the deep ocean of her mind before she could get lost entirely.
"Klaus?" Her voice was weakened from the strain on her vocal cords, her sight was still blurred as Klaus came to scoop up the blonde, many people assuming they knew each other based off the fact that she knew who he was.
"Let's get you back to the hotel." He said, her head coming to rest on his shoulder, he didn't care if his clothes got wet from the tears that were slowly drying.
She felt like she couldn't cry anymore, maybe it was dehydration that stopped the tears, or maybe she had cried all that she could produce. She could feel the tears drying in her eyes, as the hotel came back into view for Klaus.
"You can share a bed with me, all the others are taken." He said but she didn't reply, her throat was sore, not in a strep throat kind of way but in the way that when you breathe through your mouth and your throat gets dry.
She could vaguely make out the name written on the front of the banner thingy, that she never found out the actual name for, 'The Hotel Obsidian' it read.
Entering the lobby Luther, Diego, and Five made their way over, ready to question Klaus about his whereabouts until their eyes fell on the curled figure of their sister in his arms.
"Is she okay?" A young voice asked, not moving her head Libitina glanced at the kid through her peripheral vision, what the hell did she miss in the span of an hour?
"I think the events that took place in the past few hours have finally caught up to her emotionally." Klaus explained.
"She will be sharing the bed with me." Klaus stated, knowing that it would make the most sense, Klaus being the sibling she has been the closest too since their Bens first death.
Klaus excused himself, taking Libitina into the elevator, wanting to get her into a comfortable place before bringing her something to eat and drink.
Upon reaching their floor Klaus went into the hotel room, placing Libitina down onto the bottom bunk on the left side of the room. He tucked her under the blankets, softly pushing the hair out of her face.
"Do you want to talk to me about it?" He asked the girl who stared mindlessly at the wall.
She shook her head 'no.' right now all she wanted to do was get a moment to herself, to be able to think in silence without spiraling, to think without being able to break down into tears over something she had no control over.
Klaus softly patted Libitina's shoulder, leaving the room to go get her something to drink.
She knew she was being selfish, not helping the others with the timeline thing, and not trying to help them fix it.
She just... didn't know what to do.
If she went out into the public she would be seen as the sparrows Libitina, they would expect her to be with Ben, they would expect her to be with Melora.
If she stayed in she would be expected to gather her thoughts quickly, for her to be figuring out the solution to her situation, and for her to put her rollercoaster of emotions to the side and focus on getting back to their proper time line.
'Not that going back to Their time line would work anyway, because if they did get back to their original timeline, everything would be the same except for the fact that their doppelgängers would have taken their place.' She thought, Five always did say she thought to much.
While she didn't know what to do next, she did know one thing; She would be avoiding the sparrow academy, and their Ben for as long as she can.
