Levy's POV

I hold my mother's cold hand in the hospital. She was pronounced dead by the time she reached it. I wipe a stray tear from my eye as I smile weakly.

"I know you want me to be strong mom. So I'll try my best," I say as I pat her lifeless hand.

She says nothing and I leave as they cover her body with a white cover. The nice police officer that drove me here, offer to take me home. I say yes, and so she takes me to her squad car. It's silence all the way back, though music was playing. I say thanks and farewell as I walk to the front door. I twist the door knob, to see that Gajeel have unlocked it for me. I wave goodbye to the police officer and enter my house. I close and lock the door. I blink as something wet fall down my cheek. I sit on the floor and silently cry. I feel a hand on my shoulder and I look up to see Gajeel there.

"Come on Shrimp. Let's get some sleep. After everythin' dat happened, ya earned yer sleep," he tells me.

"Yeah...it's still a shock. One minute I had them, and the next they are gone," I whisper softly.

"I know it's gonna be tough for some time, but we'll get over dis obstacle together," Gajeel tells me.

"Yeah," I mutter.

I yawn and close me eyes as I lean against Gajeel's shoulder. I listen to his heartbeat at it lulls me to sleep.

Gajeel's POV

Shrimp falls asleep leanin' against me quickly. I chuckle to myself an' lift her up into my arms. I carry her up da stairs an' to her room. I lay her on her bed an' put the covers over her. She sleeps peacefully an' I smile softly at how peaceful she looks. I then exit through da wall an' I head towards my room. I enter my room an' sigh as I head towards my bed. I float above it an' I look at the ceiling.

"What do ya want," I say as the ghost appears.

"Ah Gajeel Redfox, it seams you still know when people enter your room," he says.

"Of course I do. An' why are ya here. Yer not supposed ya be here José," I say as I glare at my killer.

"Oh Gajeel, I just came by to hello. This is the only time I'm aloud out of Hell, though I can't move around here freely. So how have your boring life stuck here been?"

"None of yer business. Now get da hell out of here an back ya da real Hell."

"Fine. Since you are so cruel to me," José says.

"Yer da Baka who killed me José."

"Yes. And what a pity it was, so I was so looking forward for you to become my son and leave your parents that day. But sadly it didn't end like that my halfa," José says.

"I ain't yers or anyone else's pet," I say as I growl at José.

"Oh please! Without me, you wouldn't be a halfa! You should be thanking me."

"Ya fuckin' murdered me, did some shit an' trapped me here between da livin' an' da dead. Why the hell would I thank ya, ya fuckin' bastard."

"Because im your uncle," José says.

"My uncle wouldn't have murdered his nephew 'cause his brother married his crush an' then kill my parents," I tell him.

"But I'm no any ordinary uncle. And you know that Gajeel, my nephew," José says as he smirks.

"Go back ya Hell an' never come back," I tell him.

"I'll go back to Hell. But I will visit you again. Until my next day off," José says as he leaves in blue flames.

"I hate that fuckin' bastard," I mutter as I sigh. "Well....I better go ta sleep. I don't wanna pass out like da last time 25 years ago," I mutter as I lay on my bed an' close my eyes ta sleep.

Author-Chan's POV

A phone rings in the distance as a chubby chibi woman walks towards the phone.

"Hello. This is Susanna Ann."

"Ah Mrs. Ann, I'm glade a got you. I'm sorry to say, but your sister and her husband was murdered today," the male voice on the line says.

"WHAT?! HOW?! WHO?! Is Levy alright? EXPLAIN THIS INSTANT!"

"Calm down miss. They were both shot. Your niece is fine. We still haven't been able to find the person who killed them. Their lawyer is going to meet you and Levy McGarden at their house to go over their will. Please be there before Saturday the 9th," he tells Susanna.

"Alright. I will be there. Thank you for this sad news," Susanna says as she hands the telephone up. "MARK!!! PACK A BAG!!! WE ARE FLYING TO LEVY TOMORROW!!"
