Chapter 4
Levy's POV
I hum a song as a draw a dragon. His iron scales glimmer on the paper. I smile as I color his eye a crimson red color. I finish the drawing and my smile widens as I hold it out for me to see. I scan the photo on my computer and save it. I look at the time, and I decide to get ready for bed. I head into my bathroom to take a shower. I listen to music and sing along to some of them as I clean myself up. I get into my pajamas and I open up my door to see Gajeel sitting on my bed.
"Hey Gajeel," I say.
"Hey," he says unenthusiastically.
"You ok? You seam a bit down," I ask my best friend as I sit next to him on my bed.
"Levy... am I," Gajeel says.
He bits his lips and I see a tear slip from his face I reach out and grab his cold/warm hand. I squeeze it reassuringly and patiently wait for Gajeel to continue.
"Am I—"
BANG
I jump in surprise, as we hear a sound that reminds me of a gun going off.
BANG
BANG
"NO!!! KEVIN!!!!"
My eyes widen as I recognize the scream of my mothers.
"Mom!"
I jump out of my bed and I run to where I heard her voice.
BANG
BANG
I run down the stairs. I almost fall flat on my face, but Gajeel catches me. I get to the bottom of the steps and I run over to the front door, since that was open. I let out a sorrowful and terrified scream as I notice my parents bleeding on the ground.
"NOOOOO," I yell as I run over to them.
I pray that they are still alive as I check their pulse. My father's dead. My mother is barely alive. I call 911 and start to explain as what happened as I try and stop my mom from bleeding out. Tears roll down my face as I try and convince my mom to stay awake. She keeps fading in and out of focus. Gajeel got a towel, so now I'm using that to keep blood from coming out.
"They are comin' up the driveway now Lev. I gotta go back inside da house," Gajeel tells me.
"A-alright. We will be fine," I say as I smile at him.
"Ok. Just call me an' I'll be at yer side," he says as he smiles softly before vanishing.
I hear the ambulance as they come to a stop. The run over to help my mother. I step back and let them do their job. The police arrive and ask me what happened as they take my dad away in a body bag. I answer their questions to the best of my ability. The ambulance have already left and is rushing my mom to he hospital. After they block the crime scene, one of the officers take me to see my mother in the hospital. I lock the house up, after quickly getting changed and getting rid of my mom's blood from myself. I look out of the car window, hoping and praying that she will survive.
Gajeel's POV
I watch as Levy leaves the house with the officer to see her mum.
"So this is what your room looks like," a voice says an' I turn my head to see Kevin floatin' there.
"Hey," I say, not knowing what else to say.
"Hey to yourself halfa," Kevin says. "Who would have thought he would of killed us."
"But she's still alive," I tell him.
"Barely. She won't make it through surgery," Kevin says sadly.
"Ya know I can have ya guys say yer last farewell to Lev. She'll just hafta enter my room," I tell him.
"Really," Kevin says.
"Yeah. That's da only way ya will be able ya see her one last time. Ya won't be able ta leave did room an' walk 'round the livin' world. Like how I can't leave da livin' world."
"Sorry to hear about that. So that's why you aged. It must stink though. Being in your shoes," Kevin says.
"Nah. I gotta have a friend at least. Though I just don't know what I'm gonna do or how ya fix dis," I say as I sit on my bed. "An' it's weird too, ya know."
"That's true. To feeling living but not be living. And hello darling," Kevin says as Katie appears next to him.
"Hello dear. And Gajeel, please take care of our daughter in our absence. And please teach our so called 'friend' a lesson for murdering us to get to Levy. Seriously, she's not even 18 and he wants to marry her. I know he's 20, but it doesn't matter. She doesn' even love him! That rotten apple," Katie says.
"Now darling. Gajeel will keep him away from Levy. Anyways, we better go. Call us when it's time to see Levy one last time," Kevin says.
"Ok. I will," I tell 'em.
"And Gajeel. It was nice meeting you. Also, you better tell Levy about you being a halfa. I know she won't blame you for your parents keeping it a secret all this time," Katie says.
Before I can even reply, they disappear. I sigh as I look outside of da window. The wind blows by on this horrible day.
/There you go! Also, I am happy with the music I chose. I believe it sits da mood quiet well. Anyways, I'll see ya next chapter!/
