O N E

Violet Stacy stood outside of the Molina's house, her hand just about to touch the door, when Julie came out of her garage screaming. Violet turns around, seeing Julie run into her dad and brother. Violet couldn't really hear what Mr. Molina was saying, "I have." Julie grabs her dads arm. "Cool" Carlos, her younger brother says.

"not cool!" Julie grabs Violets arm and drags her upstairs, "run!" When they arrive in her bedroom, Julie pulls Violets down to the floor, behind a cushion. "Woah, hey. Jules!" Violet protests. "SHH!" Julie shushes her, slowly up at the window, "I'm texting Flynn, this is a 911 situation." "Hey." her dad comes in making Julie and Violet jump, "just wanted to make sure you're okay." "You don't believe me, do you?" Julie makes a sad face. "of course I do. Mija, I see your mom all the time."

Violets expression drops and she looks to the side, she felt rather awkward being here. "this isn't like that." Julie protested. "I know, it's different for all of us." Mr. Molina nods. "Dad, your not listening to me," Julie sighs. "I saw something out there." Her dad agrees, "I'm listening. Tell me what happened, it's just me and you in here." Violet breathes in, "I'll be in the hall." Soon, Mr. Molina leaves.

Violet runs into Julies room, "tell me what happened." "There are 3 really attractive ghosts down there." Julie sighs. "really?" Violet smirks. "yes!" Julie shoots to grab a cross from the wall. "you can not be serious right now."

"So, why are you here?" Julie asks. "Damn, chill," Violet raises her hands. "This is too good, I'll tell you after." "fine."

Julie walks near the garage with the cross in her hand, pointing forwards. Violet walks, no facials at all and laughs, looking down. "nice slippers." Julie looks at her, "shut up. They're comfortable."

"Are you still here......"
"Wherever you are...."
"I know I saw something, I'm not crazy."

"Sure you are." Violet says as someone says, "Well, we're all a little crazy."

Julie screams. Violet jumps, "Why are you screaming? I'm right here!" "Do you not see them?!" Julie walks over a little and says to Violet standing behind the three boys. "Who?" she asks. "Them!" Julie points in front of Violet. "No, are 'them' there?" "yes!!"

"ohh. She can't see us." The ghost dressed in a leather jacket looks behind them. "Never mind that. Who are you and what are you doing in my moms studio?" Julie freaks out.

"your moms studio," The ghost that wears a blue hoodie walks forwards before Julie shoots out her arms with the cross. "This is our studio. Trust me, my-" He gets up and slides across the piano, "The Grand Piano is new... and..." he stutters on and before jumping onto the couch, "My couch!!!" He looks around in happiness, suddenly stopping. "That is definitely not my six string."

He looks around even more before walking forwards, "Can you give me just one second?" He walks backwards, still looking at Julie with her cross, "Just... give me a second. Thank you."

While the boys talk, Julie walks over to Violet and pulls her to the piano. "What's happening? Why can you see them and I can't? Wait- these are the cute ghosty boys you were talking about?" Violet looks down at her outfit, "Hold on, let me go put on something cute." She starts to walk away but, "Wait! Don't leave me. Stay." Julie talks a little loud. "Okay, calm down. I just wish I wore something cuter than these shorts, long shirt, and messy bun. Oh! and maybe some makeup would help."

"You look fine." Two people said at the same time. Julie looks over at one of the ghosts and they immediately look away.

"Thanks Juls." Violet thanks her.

The guy with a pink hoodie walks forward, "Why are you in our studio?" Julie suddenly pushes the cross towards the blonde. Though, all it does is just go through him. "Oh my gosh. How did you do that?!" Julie exclaims.

"What? What happened?"

"Clearly you're not understanding," The Blonde ghost looks back, "She doesn't get it," He looks forward. "Look, we're ghosts, alright? We're just three ghosts and we're really happy to be home. So thank you for the flowers, they really brighten up the room."

"We're in a band called Sunset Curve." The boy in the blue hoodie explains. "Tell your friends." Leather Jacket adds. "Last night was supposed to be a really big night for us, It was gonna change our lives." Blue hoodie continues. "I'm pretty sure it did." Blondie whispers.

"This is freaking me out." Julie pulls out her phone. "Hello? Vas' Happenin'?" Violet laughs, "Nah, but for real, What's going on?"

"What is that? What are you doing?" Blue hoodie points at Julies phone.

"It's my phone," Julie answers. "No. Stop talking to them. They aren't real. There's no such thing as cute ghosts."

"Oh, think we're cute?" Leather Jacket smirks.

"Who ya callin'?" Pink Hoodie smiles.

"I'm googling Sunset Swerve." Julie looks at Blondie, then turns to Violet, still holding the cross out.

"Isn't it Sunset Curve?" Violet asks as all the boys correct Julie, "Sunset Curve."

Everyone turns to Violet, "What? They're a good band. Well... were." Violet looks at her nails, "Cute too."

"so.. you both think we're cute?" Leather Jacket smirks again.

Violet looks at Julies phone. "Yep, that's Sunset Curve. What a tragedy. They died, 25 years ago."

"Wait, what did she just say?" Blue hoodie freaks.

"You died 25 years ago." Julie looks at the three ghosts.

"Wait? They're here?" Violet asks.

"What? No. no, no, no. Th-that's impossible," Leather Jacket stutters, "Because after we floated out of the Ambulance, all we did was go to that weird dark room where Alex cried."

"well.... I don't think.." Alex's voice went high, "I think we were all pretty upset. ok."

"But, that was just like for an hour," Brown haired, blue hoodie guy says, "we just got here."

"Look, I'm just telling you what my phone says," Julie shows her phone to the guys, "See?"

"You died in 1995. When you were 17. It's 2020 now." Violet explains still looking at the phone.

"She can...?" Alex trails off, looking at his bandmates. "No, I can't see y'all but I know your there. Plus, if I were a ghost that died in 1995 and suddenly got out of the empty after what felt like an hour, I would be confused too." Violet expresses her feelings. "The empty...?" Leather Jacket asks. "V, now is not the time for Supernatural jokes," Julie tells her and then turns to the band, "It's from a tv show, you wouldn't get it."

"Wait.. so, so it has been 25 years?" Alex asks, "I have been crying for twenty-five years. How is that possible?!"

"You're a very emotional person." Leather Jacket tells him.

"I am not." Alex recoils.

"Thought you were afraid to come out here?" Carlos walks into the garage. "Y'all talking to your ghost friends? How do they look? Are they hideous?"

"Nope, not even close." Violet replies

"He can see you."

"No, he can't" Julie looks at the boys.

"What?" Carlos looks around.

"Uh... What do you want?" Violet asks.

"A normal sister for starters. Stop being weird and come eat. You're invited too Vi." Carlos walks out.

"he couldn't see you." Julie looks at the band. "I can't see them either." Violet adds.

"Yea, I mean that's usually how ghosts work."  Alex explains.

Julie sighs and walks towards the door, "look, I am very sorry for what happened to you guys but this isn't your studio anymore. You have to leave." She walks off.

"Wait. We didn't get your name." Blue Hoodie stops her.

"It's Julie."

"Cool. I'm Luke by the way. and this is--" Blue Hoodie introduces. "Reggie. I'm Reggie, Hey." Leather Jacket. "and..." "Alex, how's it going?" Pink Hoodie. "Ba-da."

"Okay...?" Julie walks off.

All the boys turn to look at Violet. "I don't know where you guys are right now. But, Hi. I'm Violet, you can call me V or whatever you'd like I guess. As long as it's not mean. Now, I'm hungry so I'm gonna go... Bye! Love your music by the way. Now or Never is the best." Violet smiles before walking out.

"She's cute." Luke watches walk off.
