What Just Happened?

"We will be lost and found a thousand times along this cobbled road of us."

The crowd started to grow restless as Julie continued to stand there, lost on what had just occurred a few seconds ago. "Hey, where'd the rest of the band go?" Asked the student who ran the lights.

"Wait! Were those holograms?" Kayla questioned, Julie turning her way happily looked at her. "Yes! Yes, they were holograms. I plugged it into the ceiling projector before the show with my sisters help. I would explain it, but it involves algorithms and science stuff."

Happy that she got that away Julie was about to sit down on the stage, only for her nemesis to speak up. "Well if there holograms, how did Ri- Christine get on and off stage so fast?" The rest of the student body agreed turning towards the young Molina girl. "Uhh....well you see..."

"She must have recorded herself and plugged it into the hologram or something? How else would she be able to change so fast!" Olivia suggested, thankfully helping Julie with her lie unbeknownst. "Yeah Chris didn't want to cause any issues, that's why she was on and off with the guys. Any other questions? No, thank you for seeing my performance."

With that the crowed started to cheer once again happily, meanwhile the guys and Chris appeared to the side. "Whoa" Chris said falling into Luke who quickly caught the girl. "What just happened and why do I feel so light head all of a sudden?"

Looking up and seeing how close she was to the beanie boy she quickly stood up only to fall back into him from the lightheadedness. "You mean, you don't remember going on stage and completely rocking out with us?" Reggie asked looking back and forth between the boys and the girl. "I briefly remember being on stage and singing, but everything is really fuzzy if I'm going to be completely honest."

After a few more seconds Chris finally got her head to calm down and slowly stood back up as Luke still held her around the waist. "Uhh you can let go of me now." She said, at first Luke was confused on what she was insinuating, it wasn't until she signaled with her eyes did he get what she meant. "Oh! Sorry."

The other members couldn't help but smile at the two enjoying the little moment they use to see all the time. Luke being the only one to see the two smiling let out a cough. "Anyway... can we talk about how they could see us when we were playing, but not when the music ended."

"We should double check." Reggie quickly said as he ran towards the steps of the stage looking towards the crowd, he began to swirl his hips around. "Is he for real doing that right now?" Chris asked pointing towards the boy, who had begun to do weirder things hoping to get a reaction from someone in the crowd. "Sadly yes." The other two boys stated as Alex looked anywhere that wasn't the stage and Luke slapped his face in embarrassment before covering the girls eyes.

Julie couldn't help but let out a laugh witnessing the flannel wearing boy, but was quick to pretend cough when she earned questioning looks from the crowd. After a few more seconds of doing weird moves, Reggie rejoined the three. "Yeah, I don't ... I don't think they can see us."

"I wish I couldn't see you." Alex whispered, as Luke finally removed his hands from the girls eyes, and once they were gone Chris quickly slapped Alex and Luke in the shoulder. "Ow! What was that for?" Luke asked as the two of them rubbed their shoulders in pain. "That wasn't very nice to say Alex." Said girl stated pointing at the blonde who quickly apologized. "Why is him saying earn me a slap in the shoulder?"

"Maybe you shouldn't cover a woman's eyes next time."

Before he could retort with anything they were interrupted by the principal. "Ok, people, show's over. Let's get back to class, please." With that being said the crowd of students slowly dispersed, and Chris briefly overheard Kayla and Carrie talking about what Julie has said earlier about their hologram band before making her way towards her little sister. Julie slowly sat down on the side of the stage while her sister joined her, jumping onto the stage to sit down seeing their music teacher standing there.

"Mrs. Harrison, I am so sorry for not asking for permission, I just wanted to show you that I belong here that way Chris didn't have to give up her spot for me."

"As amazing as that was, like I said earlier you spot has already been filled with another student, and now you're taking Chris spot." It just so happened that the new student who was taking Julie's spot was walking down the steps with his cello, hitting every step loudly. "Come on, that thing is way too big for him!" Julie angrily stated as she watched her older sister look down in disappointment.

Trying not to say that she agreed with what Julie had just said, Mrs. Harrison stuttered out an answer saying that he would. "I wish that I could help you, but my hands are tied." Mrs. Harrison finished, only receiving a scoff from the older sister. "You know I hear a lot of adults say that exact same thing, but the funny thing is there hands are never tied, they're just to sacred to stand up for what they think is right." Chris looked at her ex-music teacher before hoping off stage and leaving the auditorium. Not allowing herself to hear their principal giving her sister the good news about getting back into the program or how their friend was questioning about the band.

As Chris made her way down the hall ignoring the kids who attempted to congratulate her, she finally made it to her locker. "Hey, that was kind of cold." She overheard her ex's boyfriend say as the two of them came closer to her. "You two used to be friends."

Glancing over her locker door she saw the bubble gum haired girl turn to her boyfriend stopping him from walking. "I've earned my chair, Nick. Julie lost hers after she didn't sing a note for a year at which her own sister gave up her spot for her. Then suddenly, she drops in unannounced to upstage me and her sister with her little hologram act?" She could tell that by bringing her up wasn't the best thing as Nick's face grimaced at the mere mention. "I worked hard on that routine, Chris and her group worked hard on theirs as well and yes she got to perform with them it still wasn't right. Julie's no friend and doesn't deserve to be related to Chris."

Just as Carrie turned around, Chris quickly looked away acting like she was looking through her locker the whole time. "So Chris is now a friend?" Nick questioned making the two girls freeze in their movements. "What?"

"I saw the two of you talking Carrie or the glances you kept giving her when you were performing earlier." When hearing those two words Carrie couldn't help but look at him sadly realizing this was exactly what had happened between her and Chris. "Is there something going on between the two of you?"

"Nick..."

"No." Chris said as she shut her locker door, gaining the two teenagers attention, one showing anger and the other showing mixed emotions. "No, we aren't seeing each other, I'm not like you Nick. Unlike you I actually respect relationships and don't just go seeking out a relationship with taken people." She said stepping into the lacrosse players personal space, not caring that she just lied and was being a hypocrite.

Carrie not wanting to cause more issues quickly grabbed her ex's arm before grabbing her boyfriends hand. "Come on Nick, let's get out of here, we don't want to cause a fight." All the boy could do was nod his head as he allowed Carrie to drag him to their next class, but he was quick to slam his shoulder into the girl causing her to let out a sharp breath from the impact.

"You ok?" Chris heard a familiar voice asked as she rubbed her shoulder to ease the pain. "Yeah, I'm good."

Julie nodded her head even though she knew her sister was lying to her. "Come on we need to talk." With that the two of them made their way over to Julie's lockers that was around the corner.

"Julie! Chris!" Three voices screamed causing the two girls to shout in surprise as they saw the three boys in a pyramid, Luke on top of the other twos leg. "You! Stop doing that!" Julie said looking at the three of them angrily.

Luke quickly hopped off the guys as he stepped closer to the older Molina, who hadn't noticed. "Were serious."

Reggie seeing the unpleased looks on the two girls faced quickly raised his hands in surrender. "Whoa-whoa-whoa! This one's all on the two of you, we were already here." Only to correct himself. "Well, actually, we were over there," pointing over to a spot somewhere else. "and then we came over here." Pointing to the spot they were at right now.

"Are we not gonna talk about what just happened?" Luke asked getting them back on topic, Julie was happy with the change. "Yeah, the whole school saw you, it's kind of freaking me out. Plus Chris even joined in with a whole new outfit and everything." Turning to her older sister, "I have never seen you like that before Chris what changed?"

Seeing all eyes on her she just shrugged. "I don't really remember what happened if I'm going to be completely honest guys. All I remember is wishing Julie luck, seeing her singing a little and then the rest is pretty fuzzy."

Noticing how uncomfortable Chris was getting, Alex was quick to bring the questioning away from the girl, who was sending him a thankful look. "Ok, it's kind of freaking me out, you know, you two can see us and Chris obviously can touch us, but people could see us whenever we play music. And my clothes are made of air, but for some reason I'm still getting a wedgie." Julie and Chris looked at each other with disgust, and realizing his mistake, Alex inhaled sharply. "So many questions."

Luke turned away from his band mate, after briefly reminding him to calm down, and looked towards the sisters. "The important thing is that we rocked the place. They were loving the two of you!"

"Are you kidding?" The two Molina's said together, "They loved us."

"That was a great song, Luke. Thanks." Chris continued, her and Luke just looking at each other for a moment longer than was necessary. "I'm so... I'm so confused, you know?" Alex once again questioned making the two of them look away from each other, both hoping no one could see the blush that was evident on their cheeks.

"That afterlife should come with instructions or a quick start guide or something."

Julie looked between the four people who was in front of her. "Well, the good thing is that everyone thought you guys were holograms, especially with Chris." After saying her name, Julie remembered what went on between her and the principal just a few minutes ago. "I also got told by the principal that Chris can come back into the music program."

"Wait for real?" She questioned happily, and when she recovered a nod Chris wasn't afraid to start jumping up and down with excitement. A few seconds of happiness she looked at her sister, and instead of excitement she noticed her sister looking mostly grief stricken. "Why do you look for bummed?" Her and Reggie said as the same time. "Jinx!"

Luke and Julie couldn't help but feel a little jealous of the two laughing at how similar they were, and not enjoying it any longer interrupted the two with a fake cough. "Yeah, Julie, you're making this face." Pulling the guys close to him, the three of them started to make weird faces at the two of them, Julie looked unamused but Chris was trying to back a laugh.

"That.. is not my face." She retorted.

"Eh..."

"It's your face."

Rolling her eyes, Julie continued with what she was saying. "And things just got weird between me and Flynn. She asked about you guys, and why Chris was able to get on and off stage with you as well. I just couldn't say anything."

"Julie I'm sorry." Chris said feeling like it was her fault once again for her sister being in a problem that she really had no idea on how to help solve. "We can't tell her about you guys for the same reason we can't tell our dad."

"Yeah, they'll think we've gone off the deep end."

What none of them had realized is the the daytime janitor was near by working, and hearing the the two of them talking to no one the whole entire time. "Well, this dude definitely thinks you guys have gone off the deep end." As he was passing by he couldn't help but stop for a moment and stare at the two girls before making his way away from them.

"We should probably get back to class."

"Yeah, might have wanted to suggest that before we looked crazy in front of the janitor Jules."

Wow 2313 words were used to make this chapter, which is a lot longer than what I usually do, but for some reason I just really couldn't find any want to type this episode. It wasn't until I was stuck in a car for five hours driving home that I just decided to type out this chapter. So, right now it's 4 o'clock in the morning and I am now deciding to make amends to hopefully type more chapters everyday before I officially go back to school.

Fun~
