She's So Gone
"At some point you have to realize that some people can stay in your heart but not in your life."

"Is everybody fired up for CJ and the Phantoms?" Flynn shouted in the mic gaining cheers from everyone on the dance floor, Chris who was dancing with Levi stopped after hearing what her friend just said. "CJ and that Phantoms?" She whispered.
"What? I think the name actually works for your guys group." Levi said as he continued to dance with the girl. "I just think it would be better if it was something else like Julie and the Phantoms, after all It was my sisters idea originally."
"Chris trust me, everyone likes the name, alright." Levi grabbed the girls shoulders as he looked at her in a way that just didn't feel right for the girl. "Can we just dance some more?" She asked as she shook his hands off of her, trying to get that feeling away. Levi just nodded not noticing how uncomfortable his date was feeling at the moment.
As the two continued to dance, Carrie and Nick were off to the side. "Is there a place to put in a request? Because I request we leave." Carrie said, still a little aggravated after the little talk she had with her ex's little sister. "Come on, Flynn's great." Nick said as he tried to pull the two of them out on the dance floor, not realizing how close he was to Chris and Levi.
"What is it with you and these girls?" Carrie asked.
"I'm at a dance, there's music. Why can't you just chill?" Nick said, only to roll his eyes at the dark haired girl who he finally spotted. "And anyway you have no place to talk seeing as your still talking with Christine over there." Carrie followed his hand towards the couple, and Carrie could feel her heart drop seeing how close Lucas or Lex was to her ex.
"I-I'm sorry, but there's something about amateur night that makes me a little queasy." She said finally looking back at her current boyfriend. "Look, all I'm saying is that-"
"What?"
Nick finally just done with his girlfriends attitude and also seeing the way Christine was looking at him and Carrie, he was just done being near them. "Nothing. I'm gonna get something to drink." As he walked away, Chris got a good look at Carries face, seeing the heartbreak and unshed tears that we're glowing in the light.
"Levi, I'm going to check up on Julie and see if we're prepared to go on soon, ok?" Before he could give a response, she was gone, grabbing her ex's hand the two of them made their way out to the hall. "What happened?"
Carrie looked up, but quickly looked away not say anything, making Chris let out a sigh showing that she was annoyed with the silence. "Carrie talk to me please, we may be enemies and ex's, but I still care about you. So, please talk to me, what happened with you and Nick?"
"Why does you sister alway have to be everyone first choice?" The girl in the faux pink fur whispered. "Huh?"
"I said, why does you sister always have to be everyones first choice? Nick, is only worried about Julie and Flynn right now, and is getting mad at me for not being nicer to them. Then he had the audacity to bring up our relationship, you know the one that ended because of your sister once again." Carrie's voice started to grow louder the more angrier she got, not seeing the other girl slowly do the same.
"You better watch what you're saying Wilson, that's my sister and best friend you're talking about right now." Chris said glaring and crossing her arms, but all she got from the girl was an eye roll. "Again, with the sister and best friend, come on Chris you have to admit the only reason why our relationship ended was because of that girl. The same girl who use to be my best friend, but ditched me when she found out I liked her sister. The same girl who always found ways to make me look like the bad guy, when we were dating. Julie is the pinnacle of evil, seeing as she was the one that told your mother where you were which caused her dea-"
Before Carrie could finish her sentence a sound rang through the empty halls, the girl wanted to let out a whimper as she grabbed her now red cheek. Chris, just looked at the ground while waving her stinging hand back and forth. In that moment, the Wilson girl knew she screwed up and once again pushed someone she loved away.
"Chris I didn't me-" She tried to say, but only received a hand in the face. "Save it, Wilson."
With that the girl started to walk away, but stopped and turned around to face the tear stained and red cheek girl who was already looking at her. "You had no right to say anything about my sister, Flynn or even my mother, you hear me. Plus if any of us had a reason to why are relationship ended on such a bad note it was me walking in on you and Mr. Perfect kissing the day of my mothers funeral. You know that funeral I asked you to come and support me. So, why don't you think twice before saying my sister was to blame."
"Ris please I didn't mean to say that, I can fix it. I'll break up with Nick that way we can be back together. I'll even make-up with your sister and Flynn, but please don't walk away from me. I-I love you." Carrie cried out as she walked over and grabbed the other girls face hoping that those familiar lips will say those three words back. Instead, her hand was ripped away as the girl stepped back and away from the girl. "I'll always go it better, Carrie. Don't talk to me ever again."
With that Chris left not looking back towards the girl who was now on the ground balling her eyes out, not caring if anyone saw the so called popular girl being weak. Yet, no one was there to also see the so called head captain and older sister wiping away the tears that were falling down her face as well.
"God, can this night get any worse?" Chris said as she walked into the bathroom, trying to reorganize herself before going on to sing with her sister and still missing phantoms.

Meanwhile, Luke had just gotten done talking with two lifers about why Reggie was surprised about the whole Star Wars franchise, but was happy to witness the little moment between Alex and Willie. Sneakily he made his way over to his ex/best friend who was still watching the boy who walked away. "Oh, you got a crush on Willie."
Alex felt his eyes grow huge at the true accusation. "What? No. No, man, no. We're just..."
Luke rolled his eyes and let out a laugh. "Alex, I'm happy for you." Once he said that, Alex couldn't help but smile, seeing that Luke was supporting him moving on to someone else. "Luke, thank you. I'm also happy for you as well."
"W-What are you talking about?"
"You and Christine? The two of you would be great together I'd say go for it." Luke once again rolled her eyes as he finally sat down properly on the chair and looked to be fighting with the sleeves of his jacket. "I have no idea what you're talking about."
Before Alex could say anything else, Reggie walked over in distress and anger. "You guys are not gonna believe this, but someone just told me they added a character named Jar Jar. What's a Jar Jar?" The two boys looked at each other hoping one of them would find the best way to answer his question, but were happy when a familiar voice interrupted the group.
"I take it you boys are enjoying yourselves?" Caleb asked finally rejoining the group, causing the three of them to stand up. "Yeah, I mean, you'd have to be insane to have a bad time here." Luke said, happily.
"Well, entertainment is our specialty. So now, I understand there's something I can help you with."
"Yeah, we hope so. There's an old buddy of ours who ripped us off big time, and we wanna make things right." Reggie said angrily remembering all the things Bobby gained from his crime. "Yeah, we wanna look at him in the eyes and make him admit what he did to us."Luke pounded his fist on the table to show his point.
"So if you could make us visible that would be perfect." Alex suggested receiving a laugh from Caleb. "Well, sure, I could do that, but we're at a party. Why focus on those who have wronged us when we're among friends. Now I understand that the three of you are talented musicians, with your other friend, I doubt your dream is to settle a score." Caleb could tell when bringing up their friend one of the three wasn't so happy and actually grew what to look anxious as he stared at the clock for a minute.
"No, your dreams are bigger than that! You're like me, born to perform your music in front of sold-out crowds." He snapped his finger causing the guy in the white suite to once again pull up a chair for him as he gestured for the boys to sit. "What if I were to tell you that with a wave of my hand, you could share the spotlight with me... and join my house band?"
Luke looked at his friends and could tell that the three of them agreed on their decisions. "We...We already have a band."
"Yes, yes, but when you're done performing you disappear. You cease to exist." With that being mentioned he could tell that he was slowly winning the boys over, as their smiles disappeared. "No bows. No...No soaking up the applause. No real connection with the audience Yeah? Here the audience knows what you are, and more importantly, they know how special you are. Plus I'll even allow your friend to join the club as well."
Caleb was right, the boys were starting to rethink about what they said earlier. "Well, it could be cool to play here." Trying to bribe them more into saying yes, Caleb happily interrupted. "Oh, it...it's not just here. We party like this all over the world, tonight, Hollywood tomorrow, Paris. It is all of your dreams come true...forever." Seeing the looks on their faces, Caleb just smiled before standing up from his seat. "I'm gonna give you some time to think about it. Oh, by the way, make sure you try the sliders, they're to die for. " With that he snapped his fingers and walked away, leaving servers to bring trays of food over to the table, and the boys to be more distracted.
~🎤~👋🏽~🎤~
Julie was on the ground still waiting for the no show ghost and her sister who was still missing at the moment. "I can only stall for so long, It's eleven o'clock. I think you should just play by yourself. I mean, holograms or no holograms, you'll be amazing, and Chris is somewhere around here and you know she'll be happy to sing with you at the very least." Flynn said as she yanked the curtain to the side, after seeing the crowd starting to grow restless.
"You saw me the other day, I can't play without them and Chris can't help me. They'll be here, they have too." Flynn's eyes grew a little as she looked behind her friend, seeing the one person who didn't deserve to hear that at the moment. "I can't help you, huh?" Chris voice rang through the room, startling her younger sister who quickly stood up to see her older sister.
"Ri, I didn't me-"
"Stop Julie, just stop." Chris just turned around harshly bumping into Nicks shoulder as she walked away back towards the hall once again feeling unwanted and like a screw up. Feeling all the pent up anger as she walked back and forth grow more and more, Chris finally allowed it through a scream, that luckily no one could hear as Nick hyped the crowd up.
The girl could only once again feel numb to the world as her back was against the lockers and her head between her legs. She didn't even feel the shake that someone was doing to her shoulder or the shouts of her name until she felt a sting on her face. "Ow!" She shouted as she grabbed her cheek and looked up to see the culprit.
"Sorry, was the only way I could get your attention." Flynn shrugged as she pulled her best friend up off the ground and started to drag her back towards the stage entrance. "So, you decide the best way to gain my attention was to slap me?"
Flynn just rolled her eyes before turning the girl around to face her. "Look, alright the guys are a no show, and Julie just embarrassed herself in front of the crowd by saying that you guys had to cancel. Now, I know what she said was wrong in so many ways, but your little sister needs you right now. So, can you push that anger to the side and get your beautiful self out there and show the crowd what Christine Molina can do."
Chris was a little shocked, seeing her friend being this way, but knew she was right as she nodded her head. The two girls ran back on stage just in time to her Carries preppy voice. "Party at my house!" Before the girl could set the mic down and walk away, Chris intercepted as she grabbed the microphone.
"Before you all go leaving to some stupid house, why don't we do what we promise, huh?" Chris suggested, causing the crowd to pause and her ex to look at her. "I know my sister and I promised CJ and the Phantoms, but I hope you all can at least enjoy this original song instead."
Flynn walked over to the DJ booth and started to play the back track to a song that Chris had told her about. As the background music played, Chris grabbed the microphone and stand, as she placed them in front of the crowd.
(Chris, Flynn and Chris)
Insecure
In her skin
Like a puppet, a girl on a string
Broke away
Learned to fly
If you want her back gotta let her shine
So it looks like the joke's on you
'Cause the girl you thought you knew
Chris made grabbed the microphone and walked off the stage towards the crowd, as she danced around, feeling like she was slowly allowing herself to breath.
She's so gone~ (Flynn: She's so gone~)
That's so over now~
She's so gone~ (Flynn: She's so gone~)
You won't find her around
You can look but you won't see
The girl I used to be
'Cause she's~
She's so gone~ (Julie & Flynn: She's so gone)
Julie joined Flynn at back-up vocals, knowing that what she said earlier was wrong, as her sister has been there for her every time she was in need of help. It was her turn to help her sister as she watched the girl make her way back up onto the stage, giving her sister a little smile.
That's so over now
She's so gone~ (Julie & Flynn: She's so gone)
You won't find her around
You can look but you won't see
The girl I used to be
'Cause she's~
She's so gone~
Chris turned around and started to fall back into the crowd, the jocks quickly catching her and lifting the girl up in the air as she sang the next lyrics.
Here I am
This is me
And I'm stronger that you ever thought I'd be
Are you shocked?
Are you mad?
That you're missing out on who I really am
Now it looks like the joke's on you
'Cause the girl that you thought you knew
The boys slowly set her back down, as Chris did a quick spin around to look directly at her ex's eyes, making sure that she understood the next few words that came out of her mouth.
She's so gone~ (She's so gone)
That's so over now~
She's so gone~ (She's so gone)
You won't find her around
You can look but you won't see
The girl I used to be
'Cause she's~
She's so gone away~
Like history
She's so gone~
Baby, this is me, yeah~
At certain beats Chris threw her hand around before falling to her knees, taking a moment to watch the crowd who was dancing and still cheering to the song. Chris couldn't help the smile that grew on her face, before she jumped back up to stand tall and continue her song, not caring that the boys hadn't shown up at all.
She's so gone~ (She's so gone)
That's so over now~
She's so gone~ (She's so gone)
You won't find her around
You can look but you won't see
The girl I used to be
'Cause she's~
She's so gone~ (She's so gone, That's so over now)
She's so gone~ (She's so gone, You won't find her around)
Chris held her phone in front of her allowing the screen to reflect herself as she sang the next lyrics.
You can look but you won't see
The girl I used to be
'Cause she's~
She's so gone
With a yank the phone was set aside, back onto the board before she did a twirl, watching Carrie angrily walk away wiping the tears away from her face.
So alone
She's so gone
Gone, gone, gone
As the last beats rang through the gym, the crowd began to cheer loving the song. "Thank you, I hope you all have a great night." Chris said as she took a final bow smiling at everyone, Flynn rushed to the front, grabbing the girls hand and throwing it In the air, "Let's give it up for Christine Molina everyone!"
The crowds chants slowly began to feel like white noise as Chris could only think about the three people who she cared about most not being there to cheer her on.
'Were are you guys?'
Wow! 3,022 words in this chapter was not expecting that, but like I said a lot of drama happened in this one. Next chapters will be up tonight, like I promised I will be hopefully finishing this story this week day before or day of Christmas, as a gift from me to you guys.
The person this chapter is dedicated to is the person who gave me the band name, thanks again.
