"Who's Reese?" Chris repeated looking at the three boys who were still stunned to mutter a single word. "Reese, it's us? You know: Luke, Reggie, and Alex? Plus Bobby wherever he is right now. Don't you remember?" Luke asked finally snapping out of the shock. Hoping she would remember him, he tired to get closer to her; yet she would continue to walk backwards, breaking the un-hearted ghost more and more each step.
"Sorry, dude but I think you got the wrong person. My name is Christine or Chris to my friends."
Turning around all three boys looked at each other, lost and confused. "Why doesn't she remember us? Did she just say she was that girls sister, doesn't that make her human?" All three questioned, but none getting a reasonable answer back. Done with the constant bickering she whistled very loudly to draw attention, making Julie cover her ears.
"Alright, I'm sorry that you lost you friend and all, but you're going to have to look else where. Preferably somewhere that isn't our home, and if you could don't bother coming back." Chris responded turning around and starting to drag her sister, only to stop and turn back to the boys. "Next time taking your pranking elsewhere, Julie was so scared she swore you guys were ghost and that isn't funny."
"Yet, we are ghost and so are you Reese! Stop playing around alright, it's not not funny anymore!" Luke yelled, hoping to hold on to the little hope that his friend was just playing.
"Dude, seriously? I'm not this Reese person alright! I am also very much human, you know the same thing you guys are?"
Not liking her accusation, Luke walked over to Julie and Chris' interlocked hand. Clearly showing that he was in fact a ghost, when his hand had been able to only grab hers and go through Julies.
"See! Your a ghost, like the boys and I! We died in the 1995 eating tainted hotdogs, you know the food you told us number of times to not eat. Please tell me that this is bringing up some sort of memory that you keep persisting doesn't exist?" He asked desperately as the two members and Julie watched the two. "Come on, Reese you got to remember me."
"H-How did you d-do that?" She asked not answering his question but mostly freaking out on what had just transpired.
"Come on, Reese. WERE GHOST!" He yelled back as the shocked girl. Seeing their friends mood, Alex and Reggie quickly yanked him away from the frightened girl, as Julie did the same taking her outside of the garage and toward the house.
"Julie and Chris seem nice." Reggie responded, trying to bring the mood away from what happened a second ago. "Did you miss the part where she kicked us out, or how about the part, WHERE WE FOUND OUR FRIEND WHO DOESN'T REMEMBER US?" Alex yelled feeling hurt that his best friend was gone. "She's got to remember us, this just isn't right." Luke denied, shaking his head.

The Molina family were setting up the table for dinner, making sure to add an extra plate for their mother, even if it was a little unhealthy. Chris was still shaken, and her father was quick in giving her a concerned look when she set the plate down unpleasantly.
"Chris?" The girl let out a squeak, only to see her father father was the one who spoke to her. "Are you ok?"
"Uh... yeah. Perfectly fine daddy-o." Chris said as the four of them sat down. Nodding his head each of the family members grabbed hands and looked down at their plates. "Your turn, Carlos." Ray said looking at his son.
"Thank you for our leftovers and the power of the mighty microwave." Chris tried to hold in her laughter, as her brother gave her a quick wink happy he got his sister to giggle just a little. All four of them said amen, and while Ray passed the food out, he looked at his middle child. "So, Carlos tells me he found you in the studio."
"She was out there talking to herself." Carlos worriedly looked at his sister. "I was rehearsing for a play, and once you left I started talking to Chris for awhile." Just than an all to familiar females voice yelled hello through the back door.
"Oh, busted!" Carlos said, quickly discarding the evidence of the extra plate set. "Yeah, we're in here. Quick" Ray said, inviting the unexpected guest. "Huh? Spaghetti, again?" Their aunt said caring in a dish, as the family continued eating. "That's too bad, I brought you my pasteles and arroz con pollo."
Turing the sisters looked at their aunt, "Thanks, tia. It smells great." Disregarding the overused line, tia put the food in the fridge claiming they could have it tomorrow. "I can't let you have leftovers every night. My sister would kill me, may she Rest In Peace."
She began to smile, when joking the group, seeing the empty space. "Oh, I see things here are going better?" Nodding Ray looked at his sister-in-law. "Actually, Julie has been cleaning out mom's studio, Chris volunteered to help as well. Hopefully, we can get the house on the market and some offers soon."
"Well, I like the sound of that, moving from here is only gonna help you move on." Tia stated, just as the band, Sunset Curve, walked through the door. "You've got to rip that Band-Aid off and get the pain over with."
Julie just so happened to glance up and see the guys walking towards them, making her shout, the family quickly looked at her as the boys stopped walking.
"That's me, ripping off the Band-Aid." Julie pretended to scream like she was ripping an actual band-aid. Making her brother laugh, but the other two to question their sibling/daughters mindset. Chris, still not noticing the boys, looked at her sister with concern. Remembering only seeing her act like this when she finally admitted about her ex.
Grabbing her face with two finger, their aunt looked at her proudly. "There's my brave girl." Chris started chocking on her food, when who she think was Luke, lean his head over her shoulder. "Hey, Julie, Reese, I really like what you guys did with the place."
"You shouldn't be here." Julie said back as Ray tried to help his oldest daughter clear her throat. "Oh, I'm just here to help, mija." Thinking Julie was talking to her, Tia responded.
Luke backed up to where Alex stood and looked at him. "I think that's our cue to leave." He said seeing that the situation was going downhill every second and also seeing Chris staring at them.
"I mean, you should be at Pilates." Julie stared as Chris turned back towards the group. "Thanks for bringing us food, Auntie." She nodded at her niece, as she happily gave her youngest niece a hug.
"We should've called first." Reggie said sensing the disdain looks they were receiving from the two girl. Still not use to the whole ghost thing, Chris quickly stood up at the table.
"Uhh... sorry I thought I saw a...spider. Yeah, I thought I saw a spider, but it was just a fuzz ball, see?" She said to the family, holding up a fake piece of lint, to hopefully get their concerned looks off their faces.
"Alrighty then." Their Tia quickly said, as she turned to her favorite niece. "Julie it's nothing and now that you're no longer in the music program, you can concentrate on classes that matter." Sadly exposing to their dad the one thing Julie didn't want told just yet.
Seeing the look on her brother-in-laws face she looked at him. "You got the e-mail from the school, right?"
"Yeah, we're still discussing it." He responded.
"Bueno, I'm off to pilates." She gave Carlos, Julie, and Ray a final goodbye and Chris a simple head nod, making the girl look away from the lack of love she got from her aunt.
"So, Julie, wanna hear how I slid into home and was almost safe?"
"Or how Carrie stole my move and is planning to use if for her routine for the pep rally on Friday?" Chris said trying to help Carlos distract there father. "You're a good brother and sister, but that's not gonna work." He said, signaling the two to leave the room. Giving their sister a sad smile, they went to sit on the front porch to finish their dinner.
"Why didn't you tell me? You made me lie to your aunt." He said looking at his daughter, angrily. "Sorry, I was gonna tell you after dinner." Only receiving a sarcastic yeah from her father.
"Honey, I know those classes can be difficult, but you still like music, don't you?" Doing her usual response she shrugged and said I don't know. "Look, we talked about this, you know? And how painful memories can be, but you know every time I see you, Carlos and Chris, I see mom. It's like she's right here with us, but you know what? I love that. I do, and maybe if you'd give yourself a chance, you'll get there."
Before she could respond back, loud rock and roll music started to play from the garage. Carlos came bursting in from the outside, asking what was with the music. "I must have left the stereo on in the garage, I'll go get it." Leaving the boys to look at each other.

Luke, Reggie and Alex continued to jam out in the garage, not knowing that their music could be heard throughout the whole neighborhood. All three of them were too invested in the music that they didn't notice an angry Julie and Chris charging into the garage. "Guys! Guys, stop!" Julie yelled at them, only to still be ignored.
"Enough! Stop! Cut it out!" Chris said, as Luke walked towards her. They finally did stop, noticing the two girls glaring at them. "The whole neighborhood could hear you, I thought we told you to leave."
Ignoring about the leaving part in the sentence, the boys looked at each other before turning back to the girls. "Wait. People can hear us play?" Luke questioned.
"Yes! And so did our dad and brother!" Julie said getting close to him.
"W-W-Wait. Wait." Alex interrupted as Luke and Reggie put their instruments down. "So, only you two can see us, but everyone can hear us? I mean, what kind of ghosts are we?"
"Who cares, man? People can hear us play!" Luke said fist bumping his band mates, yet stopped when he turned to Chris again confusing her with Reese. He let out a cough as he slowly brought his fist down, seeing the fiery glare he recited from said girl.
"We might be dead, but our music isn't." Reggie said, as he turned Luke back to him and Alex, trying to help him out of the situation.
The garage door opened, as Ray stepped in looking at his two daughters. "Dad!" Julie and Chris said. "Hey, just making sure you guys are ok." He said, finally noticing the instruments that were out. "Yeah, we're fine. I just had to turn off the CD player." Julie responded.
"Wait. Is this the junk that was in the loft?" Their dad pointed at the instruments, not realizing how offended the boys were from that accusation. "Junk?" Both Luke and Chris said. "Dad, this isn't junk, you know that."
Watching as her father messed around on Alex's drums, not knowing said boy was witnessing. "Sorry, mija, but some of this stuff's in pretty good shape. Hey, maybe we can make a couple bucks."
"What? Yo, stop touching my drums." Alex yelled, looking at the girls for help, "Tell him to stop touching my drums." Both just shrugged not knowing how to really help.
"I like that song you had on." Ray said as he walked towards Luke's guitar going through the boy in the process. "Sweet! We're Sunset Curve." Luke said happily only too slightly glare as Ray casually strummed a few chords. "Tell your friends." Reggie responded at the end.
"It's just an old CD that I found in the loft." Julie said as Chris carefully took the guitar from her father, ignoring the look Luke was giving her. "Well, still, it's nice that you're listening to music again. Out here you both can play whatever you want, whenever you want." Their dad said unknowingly swinging his arms through Alex and Reggies body.
"Oh! That's nice." Reggie said, making Julie slightly smile from his cute comments, something Chris was quick to notice. As she continued to hold the guitar in her hands, Luke kept attempting to grab it from her.
"Stay out of this!" She yelled at him, making him quickly move away from her. "I-I'm sorry, honey. I didn't..." Ray assumed that she was talking to him.
"Oh no, no, no, no. Not you. I mean...Uh....Er.... You know, give me and Julie a minute would ya?" Chris set the guitar down, and grabbed her fathers arm, leading him out of the room. "Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. We'll figure out this music program thing." He stated looking towards his other daughter.
"Thanks, dad." She responded, as Chris pointed out the door. Once he was gone the boys looked at each other happily. "He likes our song." Luke said with a goofy grin, something Chris realized he did a lot.
"Oh yeah. He doesn't count." Alex said, "He's a dad."
"Why can't you guys just be normal ghosts? Hang out in an old mansion, I hear Pasadena's nice." Julie yelled as she saw her sister was too angry to even speak words. Letting out a sigh Julie walked out of the garage leaving Chris and the ghost alone in silence.
"I think she's warming up to us." Alex said, earning a look from Chris and Luke. "Yeah, I've always wanted to go to Pasadena." Reggie said to Alex happily. Letting out her own angry sigh, Chris turned to leave herself, after grabbing her guitar.
"Wait! Reese!" Luke said running up to her, only for her to quickly turn around and look at him.
"Stop calling me Reese! I'm not your friend, I don't even know you guys, so just leave me and my sister alone!" She turned around leaving the garage not caring about the hurt looks the boys gave each other.

Julie was standing at the steps waiting for her sister, who once arriving outside angrily walked past her without even taking a glance. As she was about to follow, Reggie popped up in front of her, making her let out a silent shout. "Stop that. I'm serious." She said looking at the bassist.
"I'm sorry" He responded walking closer to her, giving her a look that almost reminded you of what I kicked puppy might look like. "What do you want?" Julie crossed her arms.
"I know this might be completely insane, but can you understand how rad this is for us? People... Actual people can hear us play." He said jumping up and down with excitement.
Trying to hold in the smile she continued with her stature, "Yeah, it's just I've just had a really, really awful day." She responded back to the boy who looked at her with concern, something that she didn't enjoy. "I gotta go."
"I'm sorry that you had a bad day." He responded walking closer to her, she was confused when he started spreading his arms open, like he was awaiting for something. "Uh.... What are you doing?" Julie asked. "Oh, I thought you might have needed a hug, is that not ok to do now?" He asked dropping his arms.
"It's alright, not really a hugging type."
"Any ways, three guys just found out that they had a bad 25 years, and then they found out that the one thing they lived for in the first place they can still do. Isn't that pretty rad?" He asked looking at her with the same excitement he had earlier. "You're right. It's just..."
"Your bad day? Yeah, I know. We're sorry we came into you and Re- Chris' life, but what I felt in there actually made me feel alive again, and I know it did the same thing for Luke and Alex. So, you guys can kick us out if you want, and will move to Pasadena like you recommended, but we're not giving up music."
"We can play again, that's something no musician would ever turn down. I know you know that, with your mom being into music and all that." Looking up at him with a blank look, she softly said, "Was. She passed away."
Seeing his mistake, Reggie looked at her with sadness. "I am so sorry."
"Yeah, we...we didn't know." Alex said as he and Luke looked at the two. "It's all right." She looked at the three of them. "You guys haven't seen her anywhere, have you? From wherever you're from."
"Um...No. no, I mean, you and Chris are kind of the first people we've seen." Alex responded looking at the her with a sad look. "I'm sorry for your loss."
"Thanks. Sorry I got mad, you guys are kinda good."
"Kinda?" Luke asked, "Y-Y-You know that's like 25 years of rust just getting dusted off, right?"
"Yeah, do you play the piano?" Reggie said turning back to the girl, "No, I don't play, that's Ris and my mom's stuff in there." She responded.
"No way. I knew Reese was an amazing songwriter, but your mom is just as amazing as her." Luke said, looking at Julie with a praiseful look. "Yeah, she was." Doing a double take on what Luke had just said. "Wait. How would you know?"
"There's a song on the piano, if it's hers or Reese's.... they're both really talented." She nodded sadly, and saw that the three ghost weren't as bad like she originally thought they were. "I guess, if you need a place to stay, you can stay in there you just have to ask Chris first. There's a bathroom in the back and a couch that turns into a bed if you still use any of that stuff."
"Dibs on the shower!" Reggie raised his hand as the two males looked at him, while Julie let out a little laugh. "I just really like showers and sometimes the occasional bath." Starting to blush, realizing he might have just said a little too much information about himself.
Laughing Julie began to turn around and head towards her house while saying, "This... This is just too weird." Once gone the boys became excited, as Reggie watched Julie leave.
Yet their excitement was cut short, when they remembered one thing, making them all stop in their step. Looking at each other, kind of scared to admit the situation.
Who was going to ask Chris?
So, I thought last chapter was long, but this is actually longer than that one which is kind of surprising. I do promise that pretty soon there will be more Chris and Luke moments, but hey Reggie and Julie are getting close. I have a few questions though:
Who do you think is Chris's Ex?
Who should go and convince Chris?
Also what should the bands name be?
I have a lot planned for the last few episodes, so be ready for them, and even though this chapter isn't my all time favorite, I do promise the next one will be better, I know it. Hope you all have a great day.
