I'm Not Reese!

"Ignoring our feelings won't make them go away. The more we ignore them, the larger they'll grow."

School ended three hours ago as Julie and Chris finally came home, Scott driving Chris's truck since one she was still feeling the after shock from the second shock and secondly he didn't live that far away from them. "Thanks again Scotty, and tell Derek I said hi." Chris shouted before following Julie towards her room

As they walked in the open garage doors they were all of a sudden serenade with song.

Reggie: We're sorry

Alex: So sorry

Luke: We're super-duper, crazy, stupid

All: Sorry

"In case you missed it, we're really sorry." Reggie said as they still continued to do jazz hands.

"Yeah, We got that part." Julie said still standing there, while Chris just walked over to the lofts stairs, choosing to ignore the group. "We've been here for, like, three hours."

"We almost sand to your little brother." Luke said finally standing up, sneaking glances towards the girl who was still ignoring them. "He comes in here a lot, mainly to use the bathroom."

"Ugh, he knows that he's not suppose to do that anymore. I swear I'm going to lock this garage every time I leave." She muttered as she paused what she was doing. "Yeah, it's not our favorite part of the day." Alex said.

Luke walked towards the loft. "But, Chris, Julie, it's wasn't ok that we flaked on the dance last night. We know we let you guys down."

"Yeah, and none of us wanted to disappoint you two. You're the best things that's happened to us since we became ghosts."

"So, in hopes that you'll rejoin the band, we booked a new gig." Luke said appearing in front of Chris, handing her the flyer, Reggie doing the same thing for Julie. "A mega important, life-changing gig." He said happily as he smiled towards the girl, who also couldn't help but smile back.

Luke nodded at his friend before pointing back at the paper in front of Chris. "Oh, ok check It out. Tons of managers go here to listen to new bands. All we gotta do is blow them all away, and we're living the dream."

"So this means a lot to you, huh?" Chris said still looking at the paper. "Kind of how playing in front of our whole entire school meant a lot to us. You know the one I had to sing alone, without our so called band."

Reggie lost his smile very quickly. "Sounds like sarcasm. I'm starting to think our plan isn't working."

Alex just rolled his head, knowing that Reggie was somewhat right. "Look, we know we messed up."

"But we need you both in the band." Luke said, but quickly deflated when Chris let out a scoff. "Of course you do, because without us, no one can see you guys playing."

Julie stepped in this time walking closer to Reggie a little. "She's right. I though you of all people Reggie, would understand that, but I guess you were too worried about a past mistake than a current future."

Chris looked towards Luke as she pointed her finger at the boy. "You know, I thought that the music we were writing was special, but you're too obsessed with your past to even care."

"I do care!" Luke yelled walking closer to the girl as well. "Our band has a real chance at greatness, I'm not gonna let that get away from us again, Reese."

Chris just looked away rolling her lips between her teeth. "Uh-huh. Right. So then why did you bail on me to get back at Bobster?" Chris said not realizing that she left Julie out of her argument or what she had just called Bobby/Trevor. "I'll tell you why. 'Cause there's only one thing you care about, and that's yourself."

"Reese..." Luke said hurt by what the girl just said and as he reached for her hand, the girl aggressively pulled it away. "No! Stop calling me that! I'm not your friend Reese, alright! I'm Christine Rose Molina, not this Reese girl you keep calling me! Now leave me alone!"

Chris bolted down the stairs and left the garage, her sister following right behind. The two of the leaving behind three boys who were left hurt, Luke a little more than the others.

"Dude, she didn't mean it." Alex said seeing the glossy eyes he was trying to hide. Luke didn't say anything before he disappeared from the room. "Where's he going?" Reggie asked.

"Where do you think? Remember what today is?"

Chris was chilling out on the front porch going through her notebook of random poems and picture she drew randomly. Yet, the girl quickly stopped when she recognized one drawing she drew so long ago, with a few more added detail real quick, she let out an aggravated sigh. "How?" She whispered, looking at the now finish piece.

"Christine?" Alex voice said from behind the girl, who quickly closed sketch book. "Can we show you something?"

"Why should I?" She asked crossing her arms, getting a good look of him, Reggie and her sister surprisingly. "Chris just trust them."

Seeing the look Julie was giving her, the girl let out a sigh. "Fine."

The two ghost and two humans glanced over the bushed and trees that they were hiding behind, getting a good look into the kitchen that held Luke and an older couple. "So, Emily'a his mom?" Chris asked, seeing the heartbreaking moment.

"Yeah, Luke comes here a lot." Alex said sadly, watching the scene.

"He thinks we don't know, but... we've been following him. All he does is just hang out like this and watch them. They never really do anything though." Reggie said, as the four of them watched Emily put a cake on a the table. "They're having cake." Julie said hoping it would prove a point. "That's something."

"It's a... It's a birthday cake, for Luke."

Once he said that, they watch the couple cut slices off and put them on a plate, Chris just felt her heart break more and more. "I never knew Luke was hurting this much." She muttered as she felt her eyes start to tear up.

"Yeah, It's even worse because when he died, he... left on bad terms. You know, his parents didn't want their 17-year-old in a rock band, so...he just left. He never got the chance to make up with them." Alex said as he they watched, Luke make his way over to the table, where they lit a single candle and before anyone could blow it out Luke did, confusing the couple. "That's why Luke was so angry. If Trevor had given Luke credit for writing all the songs, then...his parents would've known his dream was worth chasing." Reggie finished as they watched Luke's father relit the candle.

"They would have been so proud." Chris muttered as she felt the tears roll down her cheeks no matter how many times she wiped them away. They watched the couple slowly stand up as they looked to be greeting people who were walking into the house. "Who are they?" She asked pointing at the group who were hugging.

"That's Reese's parents, I never knew Mr. O'Claire ever got out of jail, it must have been hard for him and Mrs. O'Claire to lose a daughter and someone they thought of as a sons." Alex said feeling the tears well up in his eyes as well, before he stood up to face the two girls. "We know how bad it hurts whenever someone that should've had your back... completely lets you down. We never meant to make you both feel that way."

"Julie, Chris, we love our band, and Luke does too. Please give us another chance." Reggie asked the girls. Chris looked away and watched the pair of couples sit back down and eat their cake sadly, Luke just watching from the counter right next to a vase of Dahlias.

A rhythm was coming from the garage as the group of four played, smiling at each other before Chris grabbed the mic that was in front of them.

(Chris)

Marching on proud

Turn it up loud

'Cause now we know what we're worth

Before they could continue though, the missing link of the group finally joined the room appearing in the chair. "Whoa, Julie. Chris?!" He questioned, assuming they were still mad at them from last night, instead Chris just smiled at him as she held the guitar out for him. "Grab your guitar, we got work to do."

Luke just chuckled grabbing the guitar from her hands, as he put the neck strap around his neck he looked at the girl. "What made you come back?"

"I realized how important music is to all of us and we've lost so much already. We can't lose this too." She said as she stood up from the stool that she was originally sitting on.

"Thanks." He said as the two of them just stared at each other, enjoying the little moment between them that seemed to be perfect. "All right, boss. Where we at?"

"Oh, and by the way, happy birthday." She said, making him looked at her shocked, before he smiled and walked away. "Let's go from the pre-chorus."

"One, two, three, four"
