After the boys convinced her sister to sneak out the window, Chris and Julie drove off to the cafe that they were suppose to perform that night. When they entered they made their way over towards Flynn who was near the stage. "Are we late?" Julie asked both of them a little out of breath from running in to the place, not hearing the announcer. 

"Too early." Flynn said sadly, as the three turned to look at the wannabe pink highlighter walk to the center of the stage. "Hope you all came to have a great time." She giggled before putting shades on her face and walking towards the back of the stage.

"Dirty candy? How'd she get on the list?" Chris angrily asked, the conversation the two head still playing in her head. "Her daddy probably made a call." Flynn said before taking a good look of Julie's outfit. "I like this! Pretty flower." 

Julie looked down and smiled. "Thanks, it's a dahlia. Our mom's favorite." 

The three of them just smiled at each other before turning to watch the show.

"Did she for real make a song all about her?" Chris asked as they watched the performance, just now realizing the boys were behind them. "I still can't believe I dated her." She groaned as she shook her head, earning a laugh from Luke.

The party don't start till I walk in

I'm stealing all the attention

Alex was all of a sudden on the stage, making Chris and the guys laugh a little.

Don't get me started on mentions

Yeah~

Deciding to make the most of the moment he started to follow the girls the best he could, making it harder for Chris to not just laugh.

Some might say I sound conceited

They don't get the shine that I get

Some get jealous

They can't help it

They wish they were me, oh~

I keep the part going all night

The blonde dancer appeared once again back with the group, causing the four of the five to look at him. "Having fun out there?" Julie asked a hint of a smile on her face. "It's not my fault, it's my, um... it's my feet." Alex said after clearing his throat, but with one look back at the group he changed his mind. "Put me back in, coach." 

Flynn finally looked at the two confused on what just happened. "Oh, it's the guys." Julie had to say before they once again watch the group mostly Alex.

"I think they would after listening to this song." Luke muttered in Chris's ear, gaining a laugh from her while Julie just glared at him to shut up. "Just watch the show." She said back, shaking her head at the duo who were perfect for each other.

'Cause all I see is all eyes on me

What made Chris finally let out the pent up laughter was when she saw the blonde bounce in a circle and say the crowd was making him blush. As the blonde finally appeared, once again, with the group the four looked at him. "Hey, um... I was just... I was just doing that for you guys." He stammered, but only got a sarcastic mhm from Reggie and Chris. "Yeah, you can stop smiling now." Reggie said to him.

"I'm not gonna lie. That was..." Julie was about to continue, but was interrupted by her older sister. "Horrible? Boring? A little cliche? Oh, how about-" 

"I was going to say kind of good." Chris only rolled her eyes at her, Flynn turned to look at Julie. "Yeah, I forgot why I hate her so much." It seemed luck was on their side though when Carrie just so happened to walk over to the group with her little entourage of wannabe rainbow behind her. 

"Hi, girls. Um, isn't it past your bedtime?" She said mainly looking at the two younger girls, rather than the older girl. "Now I rememberer." Flynn said happily looking at the sister duo.

"If your looking for Nick, he didn't come." 

Julie just scoffed at the girl for assuming something like this. "That's not why we're here." 

"Ok, it looks like we're closing the night out with one more groups, CJ and the Fat Ones." The guy on the microphone said, causing the group to turn and look at Luke, who was at the moment bitting his lip in embarrassment. "Really?" Alex asked.

"Yeah, man. My handwriting sucks." Luke said, just gaining a groan from Chris and Julie and they made their way on stage, Julie heading towards the piano and Chris going towards the microphone that held her tamborine. "Hi." Chris said nervously as she readjusted the mic stand real quick. "It's actually, CJ and the Phantoms." When no one looked like they cared, Julie just muttered an ok, as they watch Flynn 'turn on' the hologram machine.

Just as the band appeared, Chris could feel her eyes sight grow a little hazy almost like she was passing out, but wasn't. No one noticed, because as soon as the next lyric came on the girl was happily bouncing up and down with the music and lyrics.

The band were shocked though when Chris started to sing, her usual hard and confident sound was now a little more soft and delicate, something that none of them would imagine for her. Well, for Julie anyway the boys could see their old friend in the girl as she grabbed the microphone.

Chris looked over at Julie, who just nodded her head at the brown haired guitarist, as she continued to dance near Reggie, who wasn't complaining. With the little signal she grabbed her mic and stand and slowly walked over to the ghost who was already looking at her in amazement.

As Chris hit the last few notes, Luke watched in admiration seeing the girl not as the girl who he remembered from his past or the girl who was easily angry at him. Luke was seeing her as the girl who re-won his heart all over again with her singing and her mix of attitudes that never made him either annoyed, angry, or bored. The boy and three other members knew that he was in love with her and he wasn't afraid to deny those feelings any longer.

Everyone in the crowd applaud and cheered loudly as they looked at the band in amazement, but what made them grow louder was when the boys disappeared. Chris could almost feel the fog slowly leaving her as she held her head for a brief moment, once again not fully remembering what happened during the performance. 

Julie grabbed the mic in front of herself and smiled at the crowd. "Thank you. We're CJ and the Phantoms, tell your friends!" With that she grabbed her sisters hand and ran off the stage in delight still not believing what just happened at all. Flynn and Julie hugged each other while squealing in excitement, Chris just standing far away and still supporting her head that was still in pain. 

"You guys were incredible." Flynn said happily. 

"Yeah, we were." Reggie agreed the three boys appearing behind Flynn, unknowingly. Chris finally stable to walk, came over to the group only to sit in between Luke's legs and once again grabbing her head. Luke started at her in concert, his face losing that smile as he watched the girl who looked to be in pain. 

"Hey. Hey! Whoever Carrie was trying to impress is coming this way." Reggie said, barking like a dog when he sees the mail man. "She looks all business." Alex whispered, even though only four people could hear him.

Reggie, having a golden retriever moment looked in between the group with confusion. "Wait. Who should do the talking? Right, starlight. Julie." Reggie said having a duh moment, before holding his thumbs up at the girl. "You got this." 

"Hi, I'm Andi Parker, and I would-" Just as the business woman was about to continue a familiar voice yelled at the trio. "Julie! Christine!" 

"Dad!" The duo said, Chris finally looking up to see their dad standing their angrily looking at the two. "It's time to go."

"Well we're screwed."

Episode Six If finally done.

So, I'm now sad I might not be able to update tomorrow like I was planing since my parents want it to be family time aka device free time. So, if I do finish the next episode like I plan to do, that means the last two episode won't be up until later that night/day of Christmas.

I do fully intend to finish this book and hopefully start my other book the missing.

Cause next episode this are moving up a year and we got some cute moments planned, but things are also about to go down.
