Edge of Great
"Be with someone that makes you ridiculously happy. Someone who makes you laugh and smile. Often and a lot."

The day was now night, as the crowd gathered around the garage not only to see an amazing show by CJ and the Phantoms, but to also celebrate the eldest Molinas birthday. "What's up, everybody!" Flynns voice echoed through the crowd. "Time to put your hands up, do a little dance, yup. Here's the new anthem from CJ and the Phantoms." When she finished Carlos and one of his friends open the garage doors, showing the crowd Chris and Julie.
"Thank for coming, everyone." Julie said as she sat down at the piano, Chris making her way to the microphone that was off to the side. The crowd started to calm down, as Julie started to play, Chris joining in with the lyrics.
(Chris, Julie, Julie and Chris, Luke, Luke and Chris, Reggie, The band)
Running from the past~
Tripping on the now~
What is lost can be found
It's obvious~
And like a rubber ball~
We come bouncing back~
We all got a second act inside of us~
And just like usual, the boys appeared behind the girls playing what they had practice a little while ago before the crowd started showing up. For some new comers the sight left them in shock while for the others who have seen it before just smiled and continued to dance with the song.
I believe~
I believe that we're just one dream
Away from who we're meant to be~
That we're standing on the edge of~
Something bid, something crazy
Our best is yet unknown
While they sang, Julie was following Flynns advice and dancing more with Luke and Alex rather than her usual partner Reggie, something the three boys easily noticed. Chris on the other hand was like Julie dancing with Reggie and Alex more so than Luke, not realizing the haze that was slowly taking over her eyesight.
That this moment is ours to own
'Cause we're standing
On the edge of great~
Boys: On the edge of great
Great~ (On the edge of great)
Great~ (On the edge of great)
'Cause we're standing on the edge of~
Great~
When Chris hit that last note, it was like a pain hit her in both her chest and head, causing the girl to lose her balance for a second, no one noticing as Luke started to sing.
We all make mistakes~
But they're just stepping stones~
To take us where we wanna go~
It's never strange, no~
When it was time for the usual duo to sing their separate part, did they finally realize the girl in discomfort, her now leaning, more so depending on the little stage that was holding Alex's drum set. A little glance up and the girl saw the worrying looks she was getting from her friends and sister, and trying to not cause a big deal she brought the mic towards her lips.
Sometimes we gotta lean~
Lean on someone else~
To get a little help~
Yet, before Chris could finish another jolt of pain went through the girl, leaving her once again out of breath, making Luke sing the last line without her.
Until we find a way~
I believe~
I believe that we're just one dream~
As the three guys and Julie sang, Chris could no longer hold in the pain and instead of finishing the song she looked at Luke one last time before bolting towards the crowd who either ignored the girl leaving or watched in concern, four of them more so than the rest. The four wanted to check on the girl, but didn't know what to do at the moment, as she left through the gate door.
Away from who we're meant to be~
That we're standing on the edge of~
Something big, something crazy
Our best is yet unknown~
That this moment is ours to own~
'Cause we're standing
On the edge of great~
On the edge of great
Great~ (Guys: On the edge of great)
Great~ (On the edge of great)
'Cause we're standing on the edge of~
Julie, after having her back towards the band finally looked back only to see the guys, Alex and Luke looking concerned, Reggie being the same, but also mostly staring at the girl.
Shout, shout
Come on and let it out, out
Don't gotta hide it
Let your colors blind their eyes
Be who you are, don't compromise
Shout, shout
Come on and let it out, out~
What doesn't kill you
Makes you feel alive~
Oh, I believe~
As Julie started to sing an unfamiliar riff started to join, causing the girl to watch as Reggie walked over to her, Luke and Alex smiling at their friend. Meanwhile Julie, now ignoring the advice that she was given earlier, turned to stare at the boy with a smile on her face not realizing Nick was witnessing the whole thing with a frown.
I believe that we're just one dream~
Away from who we're meant to be~
That we're standing on the edge
Of great~
Reggie just smiled, when he watched the girl hit her high note as he walked back over to his mic to now sing with the guys.
Something big, something crazy
Our best is yet unknown
That this moment is ours to own~
'Cause we're standing
On the edge of great
Great, on the edge of great
On the edge of great~
Great, on the edge of great
On the edge~
Great, on the edge of great (Whoa-oa-oa-oa)
Standing on the edge of
Both Luke and Alex disappeared, while Reggie walked over to the girl now joining her on the microphone that was on the piano. The two of them just looked at each other, while Luke and Alex tried to search for the girl, even though Flynn was already closing the gate to find the missing letter of the band.
Running from the past~
Tripping on the now~
What is lost can be found~
It's obvious~
Julie snapped out of her stare down with the ghost when he disappeared and the crowd grew wild in excitement over the amazing concert. Getting up from the bench, Julie just smiled and did a little bow while looking for the birthday girl, the person everyone seems to be wondering where she went.

"There you are." Flynn said as she looked at the Molina girl. "Why'd you run off like that, everyone is worried that you might have gotten sick or something." The girl said with a laugh, but concern etched on her face, yet the Molina girl didn't really notice as she continued to rub her arm and look up towards the sky.
"Chris, you ok?"
"I think I remember." She whispered, as tears slowly made their way to the girls eyes, something she was quick to wipe away.
"What did you just say?" Flynn looked at the girl confused, not really knowing what she said in all honesty.
"I-I remember..."
"You remember what, Chris?"
"I think I gained all of Reese's memories, that's what I mean by I remember." Chris groaned her head now in the palms of her hands feeling the headache once again and the pain in her chest that was slowly, slowly going away. "All that time I kept telling the boys I wasn't Reese, when in reality I don't know if I'm even Christine."
Flynn just looked at the girl who she thought of as a sister, breaking down right in front of her as the girl just wished that they could go back and enjoy the party rather than deal with another sad birthday. "Chris you know-"
"What Flynn! What!" She yelled shaking the girls hands off of her shoulder and now looking down at the ground, already hating what was going through her mind. "Who am I, Flynn? I mean I look like this girl who is suppose to be dead because of food poison. I should be a ghost for pete sakes! Yet, I somehow got a second chance of living as a human, but yet I have such bad luck that I can hurt the people I love. Gosh, why couldn't those hot dogs killed me."
"Ok, no look at me Christine Rosalie Molina." Flynn said shaking her head and taking the girls chin and lifting it up so that way the girl could look at her friend. "No, in no way do you deserve to be dead especially because of a stupid thing like food poisoning. Secondly, you don't hurt the people you love because so far all I've seen is a big sister helping her father smile, a little brother from moving to a new place, but most of all helping a younger sister find passion in music once again. So, if that's hurting someone well than keep hurting them for all I care."
Flynn let out a sigh before grabbing the little box that was in her side pocket of her coat. "Today is your birthday, and no birthday deserve to be celebrated with no gift." She said, handing the box over to the girl. "Happy birthday Christine."
Chris was at first shocked since she made sure to tell her family and friends no gifts today, but it seems no one likes to listen to the girl. So with a little smile the girl took the box and started to unwrap it, but she was not ready for what was inside. "Aww, Flynn." She cried quickly hugging the girl in happiness. "I love it."
"I thought you would." Flynn said, but instead of her being cocky the girl was also a little in tears as she hugged her friend back. When the two broke away, Chris looked back at the girl that was held in her hands. In the box there was a simple silver chain, but what was in the middle made the girl so much more special, as it was a little rose inside of a simple heart.
"Thank you Flynn."
"Anything for a sister. Now come on we should get back to the party."
So, updates are coming very slow that's all I can really say, but who's all ready for the birthday gift the band and Julie have planed for Chris?
