Chris had woken up early the next day, even though she could honestly say that sleep was just not her friend that night. The heavy bags under her eyes that would have been noticeable if she hadn't caked on pound of make-up that morning. She quickly text her dad telling him that she was going to school early to prepare for the pep rally, though in reality she was trying to avoid talking to her younger sister and three ghost. 

When making her way through the gym that was slowly getting crowded, she noticed not only her dance team warming up, but also their rivals. As she was making her way towards her friends, she could feel the heat of eyes staring back at her and with a quick glance over she knew it was Carrie. Both girl could feel the tension that was between them, both of them knowing that the other need to say something about what happened last night. Yet, with a quick shake of her head Chris looked away and continued on her path over to start warming up ignoring the girl.

The halls were empty when Julie finally arrived at school, the only sound that she could hear was the sad trumpet tune that was coming from her best friend from inside the music room.

"What are you doing, and where is everyone?" Julie asked as she watched her friend. 

"Spirit assembly." Flynn sighed, "I was kind of blowing it off, at first I was going to go just to support C and her team, but I wasn't feeling spirity."

Julie kind of hated herself for forgetting about her sisters dance team performance, but at the same time she was still kind of angry at the girl. Her mind was all over the place as she let out a sigh, allowing Flynn to see her turmoil. 

"You ok?" 

"Not really. Me and Chris had this plan to play for Mrs. Harrison, hoping that she'd let me back in that way Chris wouldn't have to give up her spot, but..." Julie throwing out her arms to signify why that plan backfired. "I guess I missed my chance." 

After saying that, Flynn started to smile as her brain came up with an amazing plan. "No... you didn't." With that being said Flynn happily put down her trumpet and quickly grabbed her friend, dragging her towards the gym where the pep rally was commencing."

The crow started to cheer as the group Dirty Candy started their performance, Carrie obviously being in the middle.

Even though the crowed was going crazy and Carrie was enjoying the moment she couldn't help but keep glancing at Chris' reaction, who sadly wasn't showing any. Trying not to let the girl affect her mood she kept a smile on her glossed lips.

Made moves on the rise now..

While this was happening, Julie and Flynn walked into the gym just in time to watch the girl groups performance. 

"Look who spent all her daddy's money on costumes and Katy Perry's choreographer." Flynn said as she crossed her arms hating that she had to witness this nuisance. 

"Well, it paid off." Julie stated, not really wanting to admit that the group wasn't that bad as Flynn was trying to make it out to be.

When saying the part about seeing and wanting the sneakily pointed at her ex, something that not only Chris had noticed but so did a certain boyfriend and friends.

Carrie's group faked gasped before continuing on with their decent performance something Chris couldn't help but to admit.

While watching the performance, Julie heard a familiar whoosh sound coming from her left, quickly turning she was met with the boy band group happily walking over to her. 

"What are you doing here?" She whispered, trying to prevent Flynn from noticing her stance behavior. 

"We wanna see you and Chris stick it to the man." Reggie stated as him and Alex looked at the girl, meanwhile Luke was trying to find the other girl who was missing. "Isn't that right, boys?" 

"Man, I can't find Reese." Luke said after a few seconds of nothing, only to look over to the dancing highlighters.

Chris had to admit, Carrie was always meant to perform she just need a little attitude adjustment, but she was perfect for the stage.

Alex who was enjoying the performance was trying to copy the girls dance moves, accidentally bumping into Reggie who turned to look at his friend and was quick to tell him to stop after seeing Julies face.

Carrie's group finished as she looked at the crowd who was happily chanting the girl groups name. 

"Thank you!: Carrie happy said, and was quick to accept praises from anyone who was throwing it at her. "Make sure to check out my new YouTube video." Before leaving she quickly turned back to the crowd. "Oh, go Bobcats." 

With that being said the group left heading over to the other dance group who was waiting to be called out by their principle. Chris was in the middle of doing breathing exercises to calm her nerved when a very bright pink wig popped up in front of her view. 

"Can we talk?" Carrie asked and before the girl could give an answer she felt herself being dragged to the side, earning a glance from Julie and the boys. 

"Hey who's that talking to Re?" Luke asked pointing over towards the two who looked to be in a heated conversation as the principal was talking. 

Before Julie could say anything Flynn let out an aggravated sigh. "What is the she demon doing? You know I still can't believe your sister ever dated that girl." 

To say the boys weren't shock was an understatement as they looked at the girls. Julie just let out a sigh to show she agreed with her friend. "Same, I just wished she would have told me instead of hiding their relationship. Maybe things would have been different." 

The group continued to watch, even though none of them knew what was going on or being said, all they could tell before the principal called Chris's dance team over was both of them glaring at each other and letting out a very loud fine.

Chris angrily stomped her way over to her friends and was quick to take her spot, ignoring the glances she was receiving from her friends.

When the song came to a close, the crowd erupted with applause and the boys were happy to be included, Luke being the loudest since he was whistling. Chris eyes widen seeing them, but was quick to snap back to attention as her group left the gym floor. Once off, she let out a quick goodbye before making her way towards her friends.

So I decided to post this only because I couldn't get any sleep even though it's currently 5:17 in the morning and I have classes in a few hours, so yeah. I have also had an interesting weekend to say the least one of them being I accidentally dropped my phone into dish water and have it currently soaking in rice, so yeah...
