Name meaning:
[Sage means wise one. And like her name suggests, she can be wise. But only when she wants to. She isn't necessarily a fan of being a rule follower, but will do what she must in order to keep things in balance.]

[Teresa means huntress, associated the moon goddess, Diane. Or as the Greeks know her, Artemis.  Artemis was a goddess who swore off the passions of romance, and who swore off ever being in love, a virgin goddess. And like her name, Sage can be a huntress, just depends on what she wants.]

[Otsana means she-wolf. She isn't a werewolf, not really. But some of her aspects in her personality, likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses are evident that she can be a bit like a wolf. Not always, but sometimes.]

-Whatever someone gives her. It's hard for her to get a nickname out of the name "Sage". Though, she has been called by her last name, Otsana a couple of times, as well as by her middle name, Teresa.

Sexuality: Heterosexual biromantic. She will only have sexual relationships with men, but will have a romantic relationship with either man or woman. She doesn't mind too much, to be honest.

Ethnicity and nationality: Born in the kingdom of Cirillo she is the daughter of an Austrian man, and a Caucasian woman. Her ethnicity is Jewish, Dutch, German, Spanish, and other roots that she doesn't quite know of yet. She actually, surprisingly, has a bit of Nigerian in her. 1% Nigerian. Her nationality? Cirillian.

Language spoken: Sage speaks only one language most of the time, the other language when she is upset or feeling frustrated. She speaks a lot of English, but also speaks Spanish fluently as well. Having had friends of Hispanic ethnicity and nationality that had spoken it around her. She picked up on it, and soon began to speak it herself.

Personality: Sage is a wildcard. You never know what you are going to get with her. She can be very...prickly, to say the least. It's like she shifts her personality constantly, to fit who she is with. If she barely knows someone, she may come off as standoffish. Aloof if you will. But to someone she has known for ages, she may come off as dorky and lovable. She is both. But to others, she can come off as a smartaleck, or flirtatious. She can be a real smart aleck in classes, and her sarcasm can be ever so present if she feels you're a threat to her. Butt, there are times, when, people who flirt with her? She will flirt right back. Be careful. She's good at what she does.

The other thing about Sage. She is good at hiding her thoughts and feelings. She can make herself SEEM like she's okay, but then again, resting bxtch faces are never really, well, helpful. She is good at making sure no one can use her emotion against her, and has the tendency of using her head over her heart. This can lead to complications in friendships. As with a friend, you can tell each other anything, secrets, and are there for each other. Sage doesn't have a lot of friends, for many reasons. The first being she just can't seem to trust anyone. To rely on anyone. Who knows what was drilled into her head as a child, but it has made her become like that of a robot. Emotionless, unfeeling. Which, isn't technically true.

Sage has many layers. And while she has more bad qualities, such as a manipulative nature as well as a gentle nature. It's like there's these switches that can flip at any moment, and this causes her to be a wildcard. You never know what you're going to get with her. Some say it's like walking on eggshells, she says it's because no one takes the time to know her.

Briefly mentioned manipulative nature. She can get rather..well, manipulative to say the least. What she's good at is watching, observing others around her. It's how she learns people's weaknesses. And then when she needs something from them? She exploits it. Blackmail? Yes, exactly. She is, unfortunately, good at blackmailing people. A terrible habit, really.

But despite all her bad qualities, all her shortcomings, once someone DOES get to know Sage, they learn she's a dork. She's full of fun and energy when she's with the ones she  is closest to. At the moment, those people happen to be her family. She is loyal beyond compare. A bit too loyal, to say the least. This can be used either as a strength or weakness. As, again, she uses her head, over her heart.

Blinded by what she should do and what she wants to do are two things Sage has always struggled with. She never has been good at voicing up what she wants, but has been good at voicing up what should be happening, what should be the end game. Her insight is always valued, but sometimes is never taken into consideration.

Like any dormant volcano, some may compare to Mt. St. Helens as well. She has a timer. That ticks constantly. She can take insult after insult. But when she's done? She's done. She explodes. And it is never a pretty sight. She will verbally tear you down, and maybe even physically attempt to tear you down. It's like watching what seems calm, beautiful, and useful turn into something ugly, destructive, and horrible. She does apologize, because sometimes, she will lash out on those she feels the safest with. If she's willing to lash out on a person, that's how they know they have her friendship and trust.

Basically, she's a waiting disaster. A valuable friend, a formidable foe. A good ally, a horrible opponent. A good and simple heart with a not so simple exterior.

[Her mother is Queen Lorelei Marianna Otsana of Cirillo. She was born in the kingdom of Thalia, a land of wealth and grace. Where the trade and shipping companies are on fire. Sent to Cirillo to carry out an arranged marriage deal with the current King Alastair David Otsana of Cirillo.]

[Her father is King Alastair David Otsana of Cirillo. Born in the kingdom of Cirillo, known for it's political power. He was primmed and doted on as a child. But as he grew older it all ended, preparing him for now. The queen, Lorelei, was sent to Cirillo to marry him at the time. An arranged marriage since the time of his birth.]

[Her younger brother is Prince Gabriel Jordan Otsana of Cirillo. Born two years after Sage was into the family of King Alastair and Queen Lorelei. Unlike his older sister, he was the more playful of the family. His fifteenth birthday is approaching soon, and can't wait for that day to arrive.]

Backstory: Well, to start a current life, one must first venture into the beginning. Her mother, Queen Lorelei, was born into the kingdom of Thalia, where, she began to be primmed and pruned for her reign as a queen. Since childhood, all Lorelei wanted was her mother's approval, and it never seemed to be enough. Meanwhile, across the sea, a prince had been born about a week before Lorelei in the kingdom of Cirillo. The baby prince who was named Alastair grew up into a charming young man, who had been doted on as a child. On his 16th birthday, he held a ball. And that when he met his future queen for the first time. He didn't know it then, but he had met the woman he had been arranged to marry at that younger age. As the two grew older, they began to write one another, and began a process of dating, or as their parents called it, courting. They were married on the island of Kassana, and thought they had everything they could ever dream for. When they were married for about four years, Lorelei got pregnant with Sage. They wanted a son, and at first, her father was slightly disappointed that his daughter was, well, a girl. But soon got over it. From day one, Sage was primmed and pruned to learn how to be a proper lady. When she didn't gain her mother's approval, a wave of uncertainty and hopelessness sometimes fell among the young princess. Two years after her birth, her mother fell pregnant again, this time with a baby boy who was named Gabriel. Unlike his sister, Gabriel had instant approval, but was still able to make his parents disappointed sometimes. The two often were seen together, playing or out spending time together. Family roots is important in the kingdom of Cirillo, and should always be taken seriously.

[The kingdom of Cirillo has one power. And that is to shadow travel. Which means she can appear in behind a person or object, as long as there is a shadow nearby. If there is no shadows, or she can't see the person or object, her power is essentially, useless.]

-Her favorite fruit is strawberries. They're sweet and savory, something she loves. Plus, they taste amazing in desserts too. Who wouldn't love them?

-She actually hates anything that is considered girly. Essentially, she isn't the biggest fan of:
~makeup, she feels like it covers her true beauty. Or hides her blemishes. She just can't stand being caked in it. ~High heels, she falls everytime she sets foot in those things.
