Vineet takes Ruhana for shopping and then surprises her with a candle light dinner. Ruhana is elated with the warmth that Vineet is giving her. He even wore the shirt she chose for him. There's a dinner table set with her favorite food. She hugs him thanking him for the evening. He smiles warmly at her and embraces her in his arms. They stay in the hug for many moments. Ruhana is the one to part the hug and she looks at him intently.

Many feelings are bubbling inside her heart. She doesn't know how to word her feelings to her best friend. He has done it all for her, he is here with her, leaving his wife alone at home. For a few moments, she feels that he's not happy with his wife, but she shushes it off. But now, her thoughts and feelings are overpowered. She cannot help herself and she places a soft kiss on his forehead. Vineet is touched with her gesture. She holds his hand and they cut the cake - - A chocolate truffle cake, her choice, and he remembers it.

Ruhana feeds a piece of cake to Vineet and he reciprocates the process. Ruhana chuckles.

"This is the yummiest cake. But I am having it after ages." Ruhana chuckles.

"But you love it!" Vineet reasons.

"Tum jo chale gaye. Toh cakes kaun khilata mujhe! Aur fir, mumma papa chale gaye!" Ruhana says, a painful smile covers her face.

"But, I am here, you're here. Then there's nothing to fear." She says poetically, which makes him laugh.

"Ab tum roz mujhe cakes khilaoge. You know! That is your punishment." Ruhana hits his chest playfully.

"As per the order!!" Vineet bows in front of her making her giggle.

They have their dinner with light chit chats, and after that, Ruhana moves into the balcony. She stands with the support of the railing, savoring the beautiful view of the city. Ruhana sighs deeply. She has missed all of it in the past years. Now, she wants to savor every moment coming her way. Her trance is broken by Vineet's voice.

Vineet is talking to someone and he's telling them that he will come home late, his wife, probably. He cuts the call abruptly. Ruhana is surprised, but decides not to ask anything at the moment. Vineet comes by her side with two mugs of espresso coffee, the one she likes - - strong and sweet. She chuckles with joy and it brings a smile on his face. She pulls his cheeks.

"You should smile, you look cute that way." Ruhana says.

"Really! Aaj tak kisi ne aisa nahi kaha!" he says.

"Aww! Ab har koi mere jaisa nahi hota na. Aur na har koi tumhare liye meri tarah feel kar sakta hai. I am an exception." Ruhana says, chuckling at the end.

"Haha! That is true, Ruu!!" Vineet says as he settles the strand of her hair behind her ear.

"I know! Main toh hoon hi special." Ruhana chuckles.

Vineet laughs. He is experiencing a strange feeling, he's never been this happy, as he is today. With Ruhana, he is another person, who's lively and happy. He looks at Ruhana as she is chuckling every now and then, holding his hand. His trance is broken by Ruhana.

"waise who called you? Your wife?" she asks.

"Haan! But I told her that I will be late, main tumhare sath time spend karna chahta hoon." Vineet says with a smile.

"then let's go on the beach, please!" Ruhana says.

Vineet agrees, Ruhana chuckles out of joy. Collecting their things, they leave the hotel and drive towards the juhu beach. Ruhana has always loved the beaches and their calmness. They reach the beach, there are less people around, and it makes Ruhana happy. She runs on the shore.

"This is beautiful - - same as before." she chuckles.

"Haan! Ab tum gayi thi, beach thodi badla, Haan, tum kuch badal gayi ho." Vineet says.

"same for you, Mr. Kumar. Bahut badal gaye ho." she says.

"And how can you say so?" he asks.

"tumhare gestures keh rahe hain. Your wife is waiting at home, aur tum mere sath ho. Maine pucha toh kuch bata nahi rahe ho! Mera dost mujhe sab batata hain." Ruhana says eyeing him.

The color on his face fades on the mention of his wife. He turns to her and manages to smile.

" Haan! Because I'm happy being with you. I am always with Abhilasha. But tumse 20 saal baad mila hun. " Vineet says.

" Oh yes! Ye bhi sahi hai. Then, let's have that ice candy."ruhana says.

Vineet agrees and gets two ice candies. They enjoy the candy and they are occasionally laughing And Ruhana is admiring her best friend. Well, she loves him, but she doesn't know about him. An hour passes by. Ruhana checks her watch, it's almost 12:00 of midnight. She looks at Vineet and then hugs him. He is baffled, but her words startle him.

"Thanks for today, Vineet. It's Awesome!" she says.

"Anything for you!" Vineet pats her back.

She parts the hug and looks at him. They are in a close proximity, their faces just a few inches apart. She looks at him for a few moments.

"I love you, Vineet." she says it directly, but Vineet's stares at her make her realise the truth.

She's confessing her love for a married man. She can't ruin someone's family or marriage. Vineet's grip on her loses, and she looks at him. Suddenly, she regrets her words. What if he will push her out of his life? She knows he loves his wife, he may fight or argue, but he loves her too. Or maybe not? He's been happy with her.

Ruhana looks at him to speak something, but he holds her hand and moves out of the beach. Ruhana regrets, and she feels he is angry, she shouldn't have said those words. Vineet doesn't speak anything, and the ride to their home is silent. She's scared of his anger.

On reaching home, they head to Ruhana's flat. Ruhana opens the door and as soon as they enter in, Vineet's action leaves her shocked.
