Someone enters Vineet's cabin and blames him for forgetting her. It's a young girl of Vineet's age. Vineet is clueless about who she is, because he doesn't remember any girl from the past.

"I am sorry. Main tumhe pehchaan nahi pa raha." he says.

"I knew it. Tum mujhe bhul hi gaye na!" She says while making a sad face.

Vineet glances at her, trying to remember her, but he could not recognise. She sits on the chair and looks at him. It seems like she didn't like the fact that he didn't recognise her.

"I knew it. Isliye kaha tha, ye rakh lo, lekin tumne suni hi nahi." She says and keeps a chain on the table.

Vineet takes the chain in his hand. It's a split heart. He opens it and is surprised to find his childhood picture in it.. He turns nostalgic and then looks at her. He takes a brief look at her.

" Ruhana Malhotra!?" he asks.

She nods her head in agreement. His lips quirk up in a smile. Ruhana happens to be his childhood best friend. It's been twenty years since they parted. He rose up from his seat and engulfs her in a bear hug. She hugs him back and then slaps on his back playfully.

"You stupid!! Mujhe bhul gaye tum! How could you??" she complains.

They part the hug and he glances at her.

"Ab mujhe kaise pata hoga? Bachpan mein toh tu golu molu thi. Aur ab…" he pauses.

Ruhana raises his eyebrows.

"Aur ab kya??"

"Ab!! Ah! You look so sexy!" he winks at her.

"Yeah! I know that! You tell me something new." She says gazing at her best friend.

"Let's go for lunch!" he says.

A smile lit up on her face hearing him. She agrees eagerly and he checks the time, it's 12:00 noon. He has a meeting at 1 PM.  They will be back in an hour. After all he can't miss this lunch date with Ruhana. They leave after a few minutes.

Hotel Royal Villa

They reach the restaurant and hotel near to his office. They grab a corner seat while a waiter serves a cool drink to them. Vineet looks at her.

"You just surprised me. I am still awestruck." he says.

Ruhana smiles. She's glad to meet Vineet after many years.

"Yeah! I mean I wanted to surprise you. And I have another surprise for you as well." She says.

Vineet gazes at her questioningly. She giggles.

"I'll tell you later, Mr. Kumar. Order something, First." She says.

He smiles and orders the food. Ruhana is surprised as he ordered some Indian cuisines with Spring rolls as the starters. He remembers his choice. She looks at him.

"Don't stare at me like that. I remember everything. You only left me alone." he complains.

Ruhana glares at him.

"Mujhe jana pada na. You know na it was for dad's job." ruhana explains.

"How is everyone?" he asks.

Ruhana sighs. She tells him that her parents passed away in an accident. He feels bad for her and therefore, he holds her hands and squeezed them lightly.. Ruhana smiles and then she beams with joy.

"Mum dad ke jane ke baad I started my own firm. And then maine socha I should come back to Mumbai. So, I am here." She spills the beans.

Vineet is elated hearing her. She has always aspired to do something on her own and therefore,the business is one accomplishment for her.

" I am glad for you, Ruu! Finally, you did what you always  wanted. " he says.

Ruhana nods her head positively.

"true! But now I will settle in Mumbai. Have to look for a house too. And I will begin soon." She says.

Vineet chuckles. Meanwhile, their lunch is served and they relish it with all the fun talks that they missed.

"18 saal ki baatein ek din mein kaise hongi , Ruhana. We should keep meeting." Vineet says.

"Yes Vineet! Bas tum deal sign kardo." She says but bites her tongue.

Vineet gazes at her.

"kaunsi deal?" he asks her raising his eyebrows.

" Kuch nahi." She covers up.

"tell me now. Varna I won't let you go." he says.

"jana bhi kise hai !!" she winks at him.

Vineet glares at her.

"Ruhana, which deal are you talking about??" he asks.

Ruhana sighs. She knows he won't let her go without knowing the reality.

"The one for which you are attending the meeting at 1." She says.

His eyes widen at her comment . Yes! It's a meeting with a newbie but very  successful company. He looks at her and she smiles.

"Another one! How many surprises do you have?" he asks.

"many many! But first let's do the meeting." She says.

He glances at her and  says something that leaves her surprised and he holds her hand leading the way towards his office.
