Vineet is rueful at his wife's words. She blames him that he is not giving time to her and that he had called Ruhana purposely at their house. Abhilasha didn't like the way Vineet is treating Ruhana. For Abhilasha, all the rules are for Vineet, while she doesn't care for him. She couldn't even talk to Ruhana nicely, for her husband's sake.

"Tumhe toh bas apni friend ki chinta hain, main toh jaise exist hi nahi karti na, tumhare liye. Mujhe bina bataye tumne Ruhana ko yahan bula liya aur ab chahte ho ki main usey entertain karun? No! It's not my duty." Abhilasha says it harshly.

"Toh tum mujhse kyun expect karti ho ki main tumhe aur tumhare doston ko entertain karun? Jo mujhe nahi karna, wahi karne ke liye kyun force karti ho? Us din Aakriti aayi thi, kyun tumne mujhse kaha ki main meeting cancel kar dun? Kyunki tumhari dost aayi thi? Usey entertain karna meri bhi duty nahi hai, Abhilasha! Agar tum Ruhana ko entertain nahi kar sakti, usse pyar se baat nahi kar sakti toh mujhse bhi expect mat karo ki main tumhare doston ke liye ghar pe baithunga! Agar Ruhana ko bulaane ke liye mujhse tumse puchna tha, toh tum kyun us Randeep se baat karne ke liye force karti ho? Han!" He shouts at his wife losing his cool.

"Meri bhi life hain, mere bhi dost hain. Tumhe sirf apni feelings ki khabar rehti hain, Abhilasha. Main tumhe time nahi dun toh wo galat hain, aur tum jo aaye din ghumti rehti ho uska kya? Main ghar aata hoon toh ghar pe bhi nahi hoti ho, kya tumhara farz nahi banta ki mere ghar aane ke waqt tum ghar pe raho? Kya time dene ka kaam sirf pati ka hain? You're impossible, Abhilasha! Tum kabhi nahi samjhogi ki rishtey paise se zyada anmol hote hain. Aur jab samjhogi na, bahut derr ho jayegi." Vineet says coldly and leaves the house in anger, leaving Abhilasha in a daze.

Abhilasha is stunned, she hadn't imagined that he held such grudges and hate against her.

Ruhana and Vineet reach office and the whole journey has been a silent mess. As Vineet sits in his cabin, Ruhana gets him a glass of chilled water. He drinks it in one large sip. She is astounded at his rage and is a little scared. She's afraid that he might shout at her too. As she watches, he calms down and then looks at her.

"Dekh liya tumne?? Ab tum samajh gayi hogi ki maine tumhe naatak karne ke liye kyun kaha?" He asks, gazing at her.

"Han, maine dekha. Uski aankhon mein mujhe kahin koi guilt dikhayi nahi diya, Vineet." She says.

"Galat jagah dhundh rahi ho. Usey koi farak nahi padta. Wo kabhi yeh nahi dekhti ki wo kya kar rahi hain, lekin main kuch keh dun ya main thoda late ho jaun toh usey lagta hain main galat kar raha hoon. Aur main usey ye ehsaas dilana chahta hoon, ki har baar paise hi kaam nahi aate hain. Rishtey aur ehsaas bhi zaroori hai." Vineet says, his voice is heavy.

"Relax, Vineet. Main hoon na, sab thik ho jayega. Main baat karungi Abhilasha se?" Ruhana says, she is determined to walk the strenuous path.

"Nahi, Ruhana. Tumhari aankhon ke saamne sab hua aur tum abhi bhi usey samjhana chahti ho?" Vineet asks, he;s against this idea of talking to Abhilasha.

"Baaton se badi sa badi uljhan solve ho jaati hain, Vineet. Tumhe yaad hai, tum kehte they, har problem apna solution apne sath laati hain. Main jaanti hoon tumhe bilkul acha nahi lagta Abhilasha ka behaviour. Vo selfish hain lekin Vineet, tum ussey pyaar bhi toh karte ho na? Batao." She looks at him and he downs his gaze.

"Bas apne pyaar ki khatir hi sahi, mujhe ek koshish toh karne do. Tum jaante ho na main ye koshish kyun karna chahti hoon? Dekho, Vineet, main nahi chahti meri wajah se tumhe suffer karna pade. Maine jo kaha wo meri feelings hain lekin main ye bhi jaanti hoon, jitna pyar main tumse karti hoon, utna hi pyaar tum Abhilasha se karte ho. Main bas ek koshish karna chahti hoon." Ruhana says.

Vineet observes the two very distinct women around him. One is his wife, who is quite self-centered, primarily concerned with her own pleasures, luxuries, and personal gain, seemingly indifferent to his feelings. On the other hand, there's Ruhana, his childhood best friend, who holds deep affection for him but struggles to openly express her love. She's determined not to cross the boundaries of friendship, even though she's managed to maintain her composure.

Vineet senses that Abhilasha, his wife, might not grasp his perspective until she experiences something firsthand. Meanwhile, Ruhana believes she can communicate with Abhilasha and help her recognize her errors without causing harm. He looks at Ruhana, who awaits his approval, and as he holds her hands, he gently squeezes them. Then, he says something that deeply touches Ruhana.
