Ansh sat for dinner on the dining table, Vineet came and sat down on the chair. Tara looked at him and said "papaji aap saransh ke paas baith jayie yahan pe Deep baithta hai"

Vineet sighed and nodded, he settled beside Ansh. Ansh looked at Tara and said "but mumma dadu is senior of the house now unko waha baithna chahiye"

Tara  looked at him and said "Ansh khate hue baat nahi karte chalo khana khao"

Deep came and settled on the chair "hello Dad!"

He gave him a fake smile, Tara served them the food.

Later at around 11pm, Deep was working on some file, Tara came out of the room and said "Deep itna late ho gaya hai chalo room mein sone"

Deep replied "Tara tum chalo main aata hun thoda ka kaam karke"

Tara sighed and said "nahi abhi chalo subah jaldi uthna hai"

He closed the files and said "Acha chalo"

Tara moved to the room, Deep was about to go. Vineet came and said "beta suno zara"

Deep turned to him and smiled "good night Dad" and moved to the room closing it.

Vineet sighed and said in low tone "phone use karna tha tumhari maa se baat karne ke liye" he moved back into the room. He sat on bed and was missing Ruhana it has been just a day he is being away from her and missing her badly. He was not able to sleep "neend bhi nahi aati tumhare bina Ruhana"

Pune

Ruhana was lying down on bed but the sleep was missing from her eyes too. She turned but Vineet was not beside her. Tears slipped down her eyes "Vineet aadat nahi hai tumhare bina sone ki"

She got up and moved out of the room, she was waiting for his call but he had not called she was getting tensed and desperate "Ab tak call kyun nhi kiya Vineet ne.." she was walking to and fro in the hall and continuously looking at the phone.

Here Vineet came out of the room, he looked at the phone which was looked. He moved out of the house and asked the security "yahan aas paas koi phone booth hai?"

The security man nodded "haan Sir thoda aap aage jayenge toh kone mein hai STD"

Vineet walked out of the society gate and looked for the STD. After 10 minutes of walk, he found it.

Ruhana sat on the couch, the phone ranged. She picked it up immediately "hello Vineet kabse wait kar rahi thi main tumhare phone ka! Thik se pahuch gaye na tum? Pata hai tumhare bina neend bhi nahi aa rahi hai mujhe aadat nhi hai tumhare bina sone ki tum saath hote ho hamesha" she was saying all this in one breath but Vineet was silent.

She asked "tum kuch bol kyun nhi rahe ho Vineet?"

Vineet said "main yahan tu waha zindagi hai kahan"

Ruhana was silent..

Ruhana closed her eyes and tears slipped down her eyes. Vineet's eyes were also filled with tears. They could just hear each other voice but could see each other nor wipe tears of each other.

Vineet said.. "Waqt Jaise Teher Gaya Hai Yahi, Har Taraf Ek Ajab Udasi Hai

Bekarari Ka Aaesa Aalam Hai, Jism Tanhaa Hai, Ruh Pyaasi Hai"

Ruhana was crying..

Main Yahaan, Tu Vaan, Zindagi Hai Kahaan.

Ruhana was silent, Vineet said "Acha Ruhana rakhta hun.. Letter likhna mat bhula tum" he was about to cut the phone and keep the receiver but he heard her voice.

Ruhana kept the phone as she could not handle it anymore. Vineet heard the beep sound, he also kept the phone with tears in his eyes.

Beeti Batein Yaad Aati Hai
Jab Akela Hota Hun Main
Boliti Hai Khamoshiyaan, Sabse Chupke Rota Hu Main

He wiped his tears and heads back to home.

Ruhana moved into the room wiping her tears but she wiped one another brimsdown. She looked at his picture, she picked it up and hugs it tightly.

The next morning, Ruhana got ready. She looked at herself in mirror and sighed "yeh singhar kis kaam ka? Jo iski tareef karta tha wahi paas nahi hai"

Mahesh was sitting and reading newspaper, he asked "Mithi chai milegi iss ghar ki nahi?"

Mithi came and sat beside him "ab sab kaam mujhe karna padega? Kaamwali kaam chodke chali gayi hai mahesh tumhari maa ke aane ke baad"

Ruhana who was standing heard this.

"Uske kaam chodke jaane se maa ka sambandh hai?" mahesh asked.

"Kehne lagi ki kitchen mein nahi soyegi aajkal ke naukron ke bahut nakhre hai" Mithi said.

Mahesh looked on, she said "subah uthkar chai wai main nhi banane wali hun mujhse nahi hoga ek aur member badh gaya hai ghar mein"

She smiled lightly and came, she kept the tray on table and said "pareshan mat ho main hun na bana dungi"

Mahesh looked at her "maa aap?"

"Haan mujhe aadat hai mahesh kaam karne ki pehle tumhare papa ke liye banati thi ab tumhare liye banaungi" she said and left from there.

Mithi looked at him and said "matlab main kaam nhi karti hun?" she sighed and left from there.

US

It was night there, Aarav was sitting on bed and thinking something. Manvi entered inside the room, she settled on the bed and asked "Aarav kya hua?"

"Manvi pata nahi aisa lag raha hai jaise kahi kuch sahi nhi ho raha" he said looking at her.

Manvi kept her hand on his shoulder and said "Aisa hai toh tum apne bhaiyo ke ghar phone kyun nhi kar lete?"

Aarav sighed and said "haan karta hun Deep bhai ke ghar phone"

He dialed the phone, Ansh picked up the call "hello.."

"Ansh beta main Aarav chachu bol raha hun" he said.

Ansh smiled and said "Aarav chachu.."

"Beta aas paas tumhare dadu ya dadi hai toh baat karwado meri ek baar" he asked.

"Dadi??" Ansh was about to tell him but Deep took the phone from him.

He said "Aarav! Late ho raha hai tumse baad mein baat karte hai"

Aarav asked "Deep wo maa papa thik hai na?"

"Haan Aarav dono thik hai aur tumhe fikar karne ki zaroorat nhi hai" and ended the call.

Aarav sighed, Manvi asked "kya hua Aarav?"

"Unhone kaha dono thik hai" he replied keeping his phone.

"Baat ki tumne?" she asked..

"Nahi shayad wo dono walk pe gaye honge subah hai na waha" Aarav said with a light smile.

Manvi pats his cheek and said "toh tum subah baat kar lena abhi soh jao.."

"Hmm.. ek baar unse khud baat ho jaye toh hi mann ko sukoon milega" Aarav said.

"Ho jayegi Aarav! Acha tumne transfer ki baat ki office mein?" she asked.

'Haan Manvi maine ki hai I just hope jald se jald mujhe India transfer mil jaye" he said with smile.

"Milega Aarav!" Manvi said.

Aarav nodded, Manvi closed the lights and both lay down. Aarav was feeling something is hidden from him. He prayed "maa papa ko hamesha khush rakhna bhagwan"

Delhi

Deep said "Tara jaldi karo late ho jayenge tumhari wajah se"

Angel said from the room "Aa rahi hun Deep ! Iss ghar mein ek aadmi ka kaam bhi toh badh gaya hai na! Ansh ko school bejho tumhare Dad ke liye khana banao nashta banao aur koi help karne wala bhi nahi"

"Manage karlo Tara! Ab chalo" Deep said.

They left from there. Vineet had heard this, he sighed in disappointment.
