6. The triple date
"Tony, you sure about this?" I asked, furrowing my brow. Tony rolled his brown eyes at my fretting, "It's fine. Point Break and Legolas decided to go on their own double date, so why not go on a triple date with my two best guys," Tony grinned, wrapping his arms around the shoulders of Bruce and I.
His lips turned into a thin line at my still distressed demeanor. "It helps to know that Nat and Bruce are technically together," he said, poking Banners stomach. "Well, it would still be a secret if Tony learned not to spy," Bruce hissed, unplugging his headphones.
"Yeah, whatever. Anyway, the girls are waiting up at the penthouse with Pepper. If they've spent all day getting ready, then we're definitely going to dress to impress," Tony lectured, fixing his suit collar. Playing with my sleeves to stop the nervous tick, the elevator finally opened to reveal the girls.
Natasha was strutting a floor length black dress, the strapless bodice hugging her figure. Pepper decided to try red tonight, her knee length, skin tight dress shimmering like silk.
Finally, the stunning Peggy Carter wore a turquoise, flowing dress. The blouse of it was loose and fluffy. Soft fabric brushed my fingers as we linked arms, already walking towards the elevator. "You look great Peg," I smiled, clicking the door closed. Stark and Bruce were busy talking to their dates, complimenting them on their dazzling outfits.
"Bruce and Nat, huh?" I chuckled to Peggy. "It kinda works though," she replied, raising her her eyebrows. "What fancy place are you taking us to, Stark?" Peggy interrupted, stepping out of the elevator. "That's for me to know, and for you to find out," he said mysteriously, opening the shining front doors for us. "You're taking us to The Giornale," Natasha sighed, giving Bruce a smirk. Tony narrowed his brown eyes, sputtering. "How-but what- no fair- Nat," he whined, crawling into the limo.
We burst into a chorus of laughs, playfully nudging Stark. "What she read your diary, Tony?" I joked, poking fun at the billionaire. "I've read yours," he retorted with that signature ghost of a smirk. Background chatter filled the rest of the car ride.

"He actually made you?" Bruce asked, taking a bite of his ravioli. "Yes, yes he did," Peggy laughed, thinking about our last history class. "The general must've wiped the floor with your ass!" Tony howled, his perfect white teeth beaming. "Language," I warned, inwardly face palming at my words.
"Did Cap just say, language?" Tony choked, raising an eyebrow. "Sorry, It slipped," I admitted sheepishly, picking at my steak. "I like a guy with class," Peggy commented, intertwining our fingers. "Well then, Rogers," Bruce chuckled, glancing at a smirking Natasha.
"So, have you guys decided on super hero names and whatnot, for your new group?" Pepper asked curiously. "Well, we don't even know what we're going to call it. But I've already out some thought into my alias," Natasha explained, "how do you like, Black Widow?"
"A bit dark, huh?" Bruce replied, warily gazing at Nat. "Kinda what I'm going for," she replied simply. "Tony you're obviously iron man, and Thor's Thor," Peggy shrugged, giving me a look. "What about you Steve?"
I had to admit, I put thought into it. It took a few days but the revelation had finally hit me. "Captain America," I announced, turning to Tony. He lifted his chin, before looking down. "I like it," he said simply. "Clint already told me his," Natasha said suddenly, "Hawkeye," she chortled.
"Ha! Bird brain picked a name!" Tony hollered, giving a wide grin. "Peggy why don't we give you a name?" Bruce joked. Peggy straightened her napkin. "Oh-ho no, I am perfectly fine with Agent Carter," she chuckled nervously, "Only Agent Carter,"
"Fair enough," pepper shrugged, before quickly adding as Tony opened his mouth. "You're not giving me a name," she said pointedly, reaching for her water before accidentally tipping over the crystal glass. "Oh shit!" She cried, trying to stop the water from flowing. "Steve doesn't like that kind of talk," Natasha smirked, lifting the glass. "You know what, Romanoff..." I sighed, grabbing some napkins.

"I can't believe she went back to him," pepper gasped, ogling at our latest gossip. "Girls like that are predictable," Peggy shrugged, "I saw it from a mile away,"
"Anyway, what does he even do, huh? He thinks the super hero division is easy! Like, yeah try saving the world huh? Or are you stuck behind the computer in the technical division!" Tony shouted, getting into the conversation. "He doesn't treat her right either," I muttered, shaking my head, "that should be priority. Respect,"
"A guy wouldn't dare treat me like that," Natasha commented. "Or they'd be gone faster than you can say запустить," she finished in Russian, turning to Banner. "Right Bruce?"
He gave me a fleeting look, "yup. Definitely," he replied nervously. "She got him wrapped around her finger," Peggy whispered to me. "You bet she does," I muttered, hailing down the scurrying waiter for the bill. As soon as the leather casing was placed on the table, Tony and I had a stare down. Both of our hands scrambled across the table, causing everyone else to jump a mile in their seats. "Rogers don't you-"
"-Stark let me see-"
"-Let it-"
"-just!" I grumbled, finally snatching it out of Tony's hand. "Steve, I'm getting the bill anyway, what's the point of you reading it," Tony sighed, rolling his eyes as he slunk in his chair. My eyes nearly popped out of my head at the price. "I can't make you pay this Stark," I said, as Tony flipped down his golden card. "I got it, Rogers,"
The never ending evening had finally neared its late hour, all of us shivering outside Stark tower, saying our goodbyes. "I think I found what I was waiting for," I admitted, kissing Peggy. "What was it?" She asked curiously.
"The right partner,"
