Sonakshi was stunned. She couldn't believe what her eyes saw. She was rooted at her place.

He was lying there in a pool of blood. A huge crowd had encircled him and that huge crowd was actually doing nothing except standing and watching him in that state. The car which had hit him didn't even find it important to help the man reach the hospital but just ran away from there because they didn't want to get involved in any 'police case'.

Sonakshi ran towards him jostling her way towards the crowd and picked him up in her lap.

Trying to swallow her tears, she spoke while pulling up his face towards her "Roh-" and she stopped there. A small smile lingered at the corner of her lips.

It was not Rohit.

From the back he looked like him, but the man wasn't Rohit. He was someone else.

The rain misguided her or let's say, she wanted to see Rohit so badly that she imagined him to be her Rohit.

She was beaming in joy at that moment but then suddenly her smile faded away.

What if he was not Rohit? He was someone who was severely injured and was lying in the condition of death. She just couldn't leave that man here. As a responsible citizen and most of all as a human, she had to help him.

She panicked. She didn't have her car at the moment and she needed to take him to the hospital at the earliest.

She asked the people standing there, seeked their help and one man thankfully agreed to take them to a hospital.

She decided to take him to the Sippy hospital. After all, it was the best hospital.

The hospital was not very far from there and soon they saw a glistening white building on the top of which it was written in big, bold, green letters 'The Sippy hospital' with a red cross sign.

She along with the man who brought them to the hospital in his car glided their way towards the emergency room with the help of a stretcher.

The hospital staff took him and started operating him.

Sonakshi's hopeful eyes were searching for Rohit. She wanted to see him badly now. She had no idea where he would be and she was getting tensed regarding him.

She entered his cabin but there was no one. She thought that he was not in the hospital but just then he entered there.

Her hazel brown eyes collided with his chocolate ones. Sonakshi's lips automatically turned into a perfect curve .

She found a dressing wounded around the knuckles of both his hands.

Was her Rohit hurt? What would have possibly been happen? How did this happen? Where was he? All these questions clouded her mind.

She thought to break the ice and parted her lips to speak when "Rohit Sir, the patient's condition is just getting worse. Please come with us." A nurse came to him and frantically said and Rohit went with her.

Sonakshi had nothing to do except waiting. All the day's happening encircled through her mind including those quotes which she read.

She thought how scared she got even with the thought of losing her Rohit a while ago. The pain which she felt when she assumed Rohit lying in a pool of blood. How miserable she felt when she assumed that the car has hit her Rohit. It was like her life had stopped at that moment.

By all this she had got to know one thing that she can never hate him and she can't live away from him. She is meant for him and if she is his heart then he is her heartbeat.

But thinking what happened with Rohit all this while? How he came to the hospital suddenly when he wasn't planning to? Then let's rewind the time a bit then.

Flashback
Half an hour before

The dark red liquid aka the blood was oozing out of his knuckles badly. His hand had so many scratches of the twigs amd the thorns.

He again started moving with slow steps on the road while it was still raining with his hands in the pocket of his pant.

An auto came towards him and stopped and asked "Bhaisaab, would you like to go somewhere?"

Not being in his senses, he nodded his head and sat in the auto. Upon asking where he wants to go, he said "Wherever you wish, just take me away." The auto driver was confused but started the engine and started driving.

After 15 mins, he stopped. Rohit looked up and found out that he was standing in front of his hospital's building.

He asked him "Why have you brought me here?" To this he responded "Your hand is bleeding so badly, so I thought to bring you here. They will give you the best treatment."

Rohit smiled weakly and while getting out of the auto, he gave him the amount which was there visible in the meter.

The rain had stopped by now and the sun was shining brightly but his world was still dark.

He wasn't planning to go inside. He didn't want to. At least not like this. He was supposed to come here to fix people, to save them and not to show his broken self.

He turned back to go but just then Lakshmi found him standing there. She was a nurse there but Rohit used to treat her like her younger sister. They both used to share their problems with each other. It was like a perfect sibling bond between the two.

She came to him and saw his hands. She without speaking anything took him inside and started doing his first aid. She cleaned the blood with a cotton and applied an ointment and lovingly did a dressing.

Rohit's eyes glistened with tears. He was feeling even shameful. He said "Lakshmi, leave it. I don't deserve it. I don't deserve the love of this world. I don't deserve the love and care of anyone." He jerked away his hand from her hold.

Lakshmi was confused at first but then she understood in an instant that it was regarding Sonakshi only. This was her and his bond. She had never seen him this broken even when Sonakshi left him. This time he was broken from inside, outside and every damn side.

"First you tell me everything." She spoke. Rohit narrated the whole story to her.

Before she could speak anything to make him feel better, Sonakshi came along with a man. She sensed an emergency, so she quickly completed doing Rohit's first aid and went out to check. Rohit, on the other hand went to change his clothes. A pair of clothes were always kept in the hospital for an emergency.

Flashback ends
Present time

It has been an hour or two since Rohit had gone. She was just praying for the surgery to be successful.

The man's family were informed about the accident and they had come there. They all were sobbing and Sonakshi was consoling them time to time.

As soon as Rohit came out from the operation room, his family and Sonakshi surrounded him. Their ears wanted to listen a positive response.

"The surgery was successful. He is out of danger now." They rejoiced and thanked god. Sonakshi was also equally happy for them.

Now she wanted to talk to Rohit. She knew that Rohit was also not happy without her. She wanted to have a communication with him.

She wanted some efforts from his side and nothing else. She found him putting true efforts for her which made her feel lucky to get him and she in no case wanted to lose him.

She came to him but Rohit turned back and took out his phone and called someone or let's say pretended to call someone.

He didn't have the courage to face her after knowing how much pain he had given to her. He didn't even want to come in front of her but fate made him met her but still he wouldn't lose. If Sonakshi wanted him to go away from her life, then he would. He didn't want to be that foul smell in her beautiful garden. But little did he know, he was her garden and she wanted to be it's fragrance.

Sonakshi waited for the call to get end and Rohit was waiting for her patience to break and that she goes away now.

Sonakshi turned back pretending to leave. Rohit saw that and sighed in relief. He kept his phone. She noticed this and again turned to talk to him.

'Why is it so difficult to avoid her.' He thought.

He found Sonakshi coming towards him and so he started talking to a nurse standing beside her. Sonakshi fumed seeing that.

She came and said to the nurse "I want to talk to him. Would you please excuse us?"

"Of course." And she left.

Before Sonakshi could say anything Rohit spoke "I have to check a patient's file. Sorry." Sonakshi had lost all her cool and patience with this and the next moment her petals lips collided with his dried lips.

She couldn't hold it anymore. She captured his lips and kissed him passionately. The surrounding didn't matter to her. Everyone were looking at them and it looked like as if their eyes would come out of the socket but it didn't matter to her.

Rohit was still in a shock. He didn't know how to respond. First she didn't want him in his life, he caused her so much of pain and now she was kissing him. All this was going as a bouncer over his head.

Sonakshi, not finding him reciprocating the kiss, decided to pull out but just then Rohit pulled her closer by the waist and reciprocated the kiss passionately. He didn't want to lose this moment and wanted to cherish this for forever.

After a few moment, they pulled out of the kiss only to find the people there gawking at them.

Both of their cheeks turned red. Right now nothing could be redder than that.

"Does no one here has any work? Do you all want to get a permanent leave?" Rohit played his Boss-role here and everyone left.

They both came out of the hospital because that was not the right place to talk now.

"What happened to your hands?" She asked.

"I punched the tree." He innocently said.

"What?"

"I wanted to punch someone so I punched tree."

"Idiot. If again you did this, I swear I would punch you so hard that you would forget what a 'punch' is."

"And why were you avoiding me?" Sonakshi started again.

"When was I avoiding you?" He tried playing smart and pretended to be innocent.

"As if you don't know. In the hospital."

"I wasn't avoiding you. I was busy. You saw right, I had a patient. You only brought him here."

"Oh ho ho. Don't try to be innocent. After the surgery, you were just avoiding me. I saw that."

"I wasn't."

"You were."

"I wasn't."

"You were."

Sonakshi's phone rung. She picked the call and spoke "Hello Mumma. What happened?"

"Sona, where are you and Rohit? It's so late."

"Mumma Rohit is with me only and everything is fine between the two of us. You don't worry. We would come in just a while. You sleep." She slided the red button without letting Suman say anything further.

"So yes." She said.

"So yes?"

"So why wer-"

"Let's just leave it here. I know I have hurt you a lot. I broke your trust and you don't deserve me. You deserve someone better than me, no the best, you deserve the best. I am so shameful that I couldn't give you the happiness I promised and you deserved. There is no forgiveness for it even but I am sorry. You go away from here. I don't deserve you."

"Rohit-"

"No please-" She pecked his lips once again to keep him quite.

"How much do you speak! Now my turn to speak. What's done is done. We can't change the past but we can surely make our future better."

Rohit asked "Does that means you have forgiven me?"

"I am still not completely sure about that. Maybe? But I am surely ready to give you one more chance. I am again trusting you with not breaking my heart. You won't break my heart again na?

"Never, I promise." He said with a genuine smile.

"I love you." He spoke while she just nodded and then said "Not more than me."

"This time I agree with you otherwise you wouldn't have give me another chance because if we see, I don't deserve that."

"Stop it now Rohit. You are growing with what you went threw. Let's do a new beginning. We would always stay together." She entwined her one hand with his and with the other hand, wriggled his hair.

"Sona, what have you done? You just ruined my style."

"That's my right. I would do this." And this time made them even worse.

"Sona, I won't leave you."

"For that, first catch me." She started running looking back towards him giggling and ran behind her to catch her.

Their giggles filled the utter silence in the environment.

Sonakshi came near a beach. The moon was the only witness of them. The moonlight falling on the water was looking really beautiful. She stopped there and Rohit came there and caught her. He pulled her closer to him. They both were smiling.

They looked upwards and found a shooting star. They both closed their eyes quickly and wished 'We stay together always happily'.

They looked at the time in their phone. It was 11 at night. Their eyes opened wide and they both said together "Shit! How could we forget it?"

Just one last chapter and I would finally be able to put up the 'complete' tag before this story.

Also, if you read the last update again properly, I nowhere said that that man was Rohit only. It was always written 'looked like Rohit'.

I am so scared about this chapter as to how did it come out. So please tell me. Pretty please.
