It was a miracle what good a little rest could do for someone.

Even though she was still irritated from the night before, the inconveniences caused by Lee Minjun seemed to be nothing more than a bad nightmare as she woke up. She had managed to have a good night's sleep in the luxuriously fluffy queen sized bed and awoke to a birght, sunny day. As Bethany went about her morning getting ready enough to head down to the complimentary breakfast downstairs, she decided that she would google search Lee Minjun to see what came up. After all, she wanted to see just what she'd be having to deal with during her vacation.

"...has starred in 'Infinitely Divided' among other successful Korean Dramas. Lee Minjun is one of South Korea's rising stars and has also been named one of the year's most eligible bachelors."

Bethany spat out the toothpaste in her mouth as she looked at the news article that was displayed on her phone screen. There was a photo of Lee Minjun lodged right underneath the paragraphs. He had on a black baseball cap and tinted sunglasses. In the background you could see that press was surrounding him; the flashes of some of their lights caught in the photograph and looking like stars twinkling in the background.

"I see that this sort of chaos follows him wherever he goes," mused Bethany as she finished brushing her teeth.

Sighing, she shut the phone off and pocketed it before going back out to where she had left the room key by the television. She didn't want to waste any more energy on Lee Minjun. As long as he could keep his business to himself and stay out of her way so she could enjoy her vacation, she'd find some way to coexist.

Bethany exited her hotel room, locking it behind her before taking the elevator from the fourth floor to the ground. The entire forty-five second ride down by herself, she couldn't help but to start dreaming of what type of breakfast spread this five-star hotel had. Her mind was visualizing fresh waffles with whipped cream and strawberries so much so that by the time the elevator door opened to let her free, she nearly ran for the breakfast area. Her fast-paced walk was short lived though as she rounded the corner where the breakfast was laid out.

The vultures had descended.

'Curse you, Lee Minjun,' thought Bethany as she took in the pack of paparazzi that were loitering in the guest breakfast area and the distinct lack of food left in their wake.

Walking over to take a look at the damage herself, Bethany sighed when she saw that her eyes hadn't deceived her from afar. They had come in like a pack of ravenous wolves and left her next to nothing.

"The breakfast is for hotel guests not hotel crashers," muttered Bethany, sighing when she looked at the crumby remains of what had once been her complimentary breakfast options.

Bethany scoured what remained to try and look for something halfway decent to eat. She eventually picked up a wrapped bran muffin.

Just as she was walking back towards the hotel elevators to go up to her room and contemplate her fate, she heard a 'psst' from off to her side. Turning, she was just greeted with an empty hallway for a moment before her eyes landed on the half open supply closet.

'Am I about to be mugged?' thought Bethany as she gripped her bran muffin tighter.

The moment she started to see a person emerge from the shadow of the closet, she decided her best bet was to chuck it as hard as she could at them to give herself time to get away. Just as their head came into view, Bethany chucked the bran muffin at them. She had just turned on her heels when she heard an 'ow' from an all too familiar voice. Slowly turning back around to face the person that had emerged from the closet, she saw it was none other than a disheveled looking Lee Minjun who was half stooped over with a hand over an eye.

"How can you make a muffin such a dangerous projectile?" whispered moaned Minjun.

"Oh stop being such a baby," she said. "That's what you get for being a creep hiding out in the closet."

"I was trying to hide from the paparazzi. I wasn't trying to be a creep."

Minjun moved to stand back up to his full height, removing the hand from the eye that had been hit to now squint it instead. Bethany looked him up and down and noticed that - unlike her - he didn't look like he had had a good night's rest at all. Or a good morning for that matter.

"Why aren't you in your room with your bodyguards?"

"I can't shower."

"That sounds like a you problem."

Minjun fixed her with a glare as he let out a sigh.

"I have a room on the tenth floor," he said, "and there's a small window in the bathroom so that I can have a view of the beach. It's supposed to be scenic - but every time I walk by - there's always a drone in the window."

"A drone?"

He nodded.

"So since I couldn't take a shower, I thought I might sneak down for a hot breakfast like I did for a towel yesterday, but when I rounded the corner I saw the paparazzi. I panicked and hid myself in the closet so they wouldn't see me."

"And you're talking to me because?"

"I'm hungry."

"Why is that my problem to fix? Ask your bodyguards to get you food. Heck, order room service. I'm sure they'll serve it with a side of a hot towel. And if a drone is making it so you can't shower, then call the police or something for an invasion of privacy."

Minjun didn't say anything, leaving Bethany to wonder what else she was supposed to say. She turned away from him and was about to press the button to call for the elevator when his words stopped her short.

"Can you help me? Please?"

Turning back around to face him, she could see that - despite his fatigue - he looked sincere. He turned his head to the side to make sure no paparazzi were coming before turning to face her again.

"Why me?"

"Because you're the only one that treats me normally."

"And how exactly do you want me to help you?"

She waited for his response while trying to digest what he had just said. If the pictures she had seen online were any indication, she seemed to be the only person on the face of the earth who wasn't bowing at the man's feet.

"I want you to help me escape from this hotel and the paparazzi so I can actually have a vacation," he said. "I need a break from all this."

"What do I get in return?" asked Bethany as she crossed her arms across her chest.

"Whatever you want," Minjun promised. "So, what do you say?"
