In an alternate dimension, a young extraterrestrial blue furred hedgehog humanoid was freaking out inside a garage. This alien hedgehog's name was Sonic, and he was from a planet known as Mobius. He possessed the power of supersonic speed. When he was a small child, Sonic was forced to flee from Mobius, for a tribe of corrupt echidnas wanted to use his powers for their own self centered gain. He had magical rings which could transport him anywhere, including other planets and alternate dimensions. And so Sonic fled to the planet Earth. He had been living on his own for a decade in a small-town known as Green Hills in Montana. By now, Sonic had come to the realzation that he truly had no friends and that he was alone in this world. He didn't have anyone he could relate to or love. So what did he do? He did what he always did when he felt lonely. He ran. He ran so fast, that his anatomy emitted blue sparks of electricity from his emotions. And soon, he let out a massive bolt of energy strong enough to kill the electricity in Green Hills, and a satelite in outer space. This massive power outage brought the attention of the governement. And who did they send to investigate? The mad and arrogant Dr. Ivo Robotnik! Robotnik investigated the town to see the source of what caused the power outage with his army of drones. They discovered Sonic, and now he was on Robotnik's tail. The blue hedgehog was panicking inside a garage in somebody's home, wondering what to do.

"Oh man, oh man," said Sonic, "what do I do? What do I do??!!? WHAT DO I DO?!?!?!?" He then smacked himself across the face and said, "Keep it together Sonic! Okay, let's review. We got some guy with a crazy mustache that's on your tail and wants to capture you. I can continue running, but those drones of his will continue to chase me! And if they get me, it's game over! I could use the rings to go to the dimensions full of mushrooms though... Yech, mushrooms. I heard they got an Italian guy there that likes crushing turtles... Maybe I'm better off not going there. I could go to another dimension..." Suddenly, one of Robotnik's drones flew in. Sonic panicked and said, "Ah heck! I'll just choose a random dimension and go there! I have no time!" Sonic then pulled out one of the magic rings and made a portal appear. Sonic looked at the drone and said, "see ya! Wouldn't wanna be ya!" He then jumped into the portal to the other dimension, disappearing forever. Little did he know was the he left one of his fur quills behind. Of course, what mattered is that Sonic hoped he could start fresh in a new dimension.
