After running out of the classroom, the kids had all separated as Baidi chased after them with the ruler making the same audible snapping sounds.

Max felt fear pumped through his veins as he ran down one hallway passed the lockers and stopped near a few classrooms down to catch his breath.

Max: W-What's gotten into Mr. Baidi...

Max knew teachers were strict sometimes but Baidi...the way he was acting...That was nowhere near strict....

The look on his face...was an intent to KILL them...

All because they got a stupid math question wrong?!

Max: I need to find the others...

Max hoped they were safe...

The boy went into one classroom and peeked outside...So far, there was no sign of Baidi anywhere...

Max: The coast is clear...

The ginger sighed in relief before he felt a tap on his shoulder.

Max: Waaaah!

???: S-Sorry!

Max turned his head to see Sam hiding in the same room as well.

Max: Sam! You're alright...

Sam nods and tries his best to out on a smile.

Sam: Barely...I just saw Mr. Baidi a while ago...He was chasing after Sophie...

Max: Oh no...

Sam: We better get out of here Max... There's clearly something wrong with Mr. Baidi...For what I know. Teachers don't act like that towards students...

Max: Yeah...But we need to find the others first...

Sam nodded as the two boys checked outside the class one more time before quietly stepping out.

They both felt a surge of fear hit them once again while keeping an lookout for Baidi.

So far...They didn't hear the snapping sounds or screams of the other kids...

Both boys stopped when they noticed a blue poster stapled to the wall.

Max: What's this....?

Sam: It's says the rules of the schoolhouse...

School Rules:

When you follow the school rules:

•No fourth wall breaks

Max: Huh...

Sam: What does fourth wall break means...

Max: I don't know...

Both boys almost screamed when they heard the familiar snapping sounds again...

That means Baidi is near.

He was coming...

They better hide...

Sam and Max went down the east corridor to avoid Baidi as much as possible, when they realized they reach a dead end...

Max: Oh no...

Sam: Uh-Oh Spaghettio...

The snapping sounds were getting closer and closer!

Any minute Baidi will appear...

The boys felt scared...

Max: (No...What are going to do?)

???: This way! Quickly!

Max and Sam turned their heads to see a classroom opened up. They both went inside to see Sophie, who was the one that called them.

Sophie: Hurry! Closed the door!

Max closed it and Sophie gestured for them to come hide with her in the storage closet.

After a while of hearing the snapping sounds....

They finally stopped...

Sophie looked outside the closet before relaxing and hops outside.

Sophie: He's gone...

Max: Sophie...You saved us!

Sophie: Of course I did. Mr. Baidi was going to hurt you guys if he found you.

Sam: How you escaped Mr. Baidi? He was chasing you first.

Sophie: I'm a fast runner...though I had to find somewhere to hide. So I hid here in the storage closet...After that, he gave up chasing me...

Max: Well that's great that you're alright too. We need to regroup and find a way outta here.

Sophie: Yeah... Because when we get out, I'm totally telling Daddy on him! He don't know who I am! My Daddy has a friend who works  for the police. He will maks sure Mr. Baidi pay for trying to hurt us!

The boys nodded at that and looked around the classroom they were in.

Sam: Hey guys. What's that?

Sam pointed and they turned to see a green notebook bouncing on a teacher's desk.

Both Max and Sophie looked at it in interest.

Max went up to it and grabbed it.

Max: Whoa...I think I found us a way out.

Sophie: Really?!

Sam: Cool!

Max: Huh?

Sam: What is it?

Max: It wants us to do more math problems on this strange green Ipad...

Sophie:....

Sam:....

Max looked at the iPad to see the math questions he needed to solve.

Question 1: 8-3

Max put in the answer.

Answer: 5

Question 2: 7-3

Answer: 4

The final question had the exact same question from the one Baidi told them...

Max: What?! How can I solve this?!

Sam: P-Put in anything! Maybe you'll get it right.

Max fearfully put in 1...

He got it wrong....

Suddenly the iPad ranged the wrong answer and then the kids started to panic when they heard Baidi's voice...
