Moving on
The rest of that week was also a blur. I had called home to tell my parents Violet had died, and I was staying with Margaret and the organization I now know is called R.E.P., which is short for rescuing exceptional people. They understood what I needed to do, but told me I was always welcome to go back. I decided to train more, so I wouldn't lose anyone else the way I lost Violet. I knew that I wasn't doing what she told me to, and I felt a little guilty about that, but I couldn't seem to move on.
