-3rd POV-

"Good luck to you both. LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!" The announcer said.

The two men took their battle stances and waited for bell to sound to officially start the fight. The second it did their swords collided. Sparks were came off their swords every time they hit. Both men have small cuts here and there from the other man's sword but nothing major, nothing that can kill.

Finally Ray left enough time has passed that the audience is satisfied with the fight, and there teammates are worried, so he starts to leave himself open a bit but doesn't make it to notice able. Ryan understood what Ray was doing and did the same remembering what Ray told him.

"What is Ryan doing, he has had plenty of opportunity to kill him!" Geoff whispered to Jack even though they didn't need to whisper.

"I don't know. I don't like this. Before Ryan went into the ring, after I said I love him, all he said was 'I know.' No, I love you too or a kiss. Something is wrong and I don't like it."

'Okay, this is it. It's literally do or die time. Every movement is very important. Alright, here goes nothing.' Ray thought. Just then, Ray went in to 'swing is sword' at Ryan in a way that would kill him but, his sword in the wrong hand. Instead, Ray placed his hand on Ryan cheek and pulled him into a kiss, Ryan melted into the kiss. Michael and Gavin stood back and smiled and shared a kiss themselves. Jack was not happy with what he was seeing. Eyes full of tears he picked up his sword and ran out into the ring. He ripped Ryan away from Ray making him fall to the ground and drop his sword. Jack furiously swung his sword at Ray, Ray blocking every attack. Soon Ray dropped his sword from one of  Jack's attacks and he is standing at with his hands above his head with Jacks sword pointed at his heart.

"Jack if you even think about moving an inch, that will make me think you are going to hurt Ray, I wont think twice about killing you." Ryan said now standing behind Jack this sword just barely touching Jack's back.

"You wouldn't dare." 

"I think we both know I would."

"But, your suppose to love me, and kill him.."

"You and I both know I haven't loved you since we graduated high school. Now put the sword down." Jack dropped the sword but Ryan didn't move. "Move away from Ray." 

Jack walked away from Ray and Ryan went to hug Ray. "You alright Ray?" 

"Yeah, I'm fine." Ray said hugging Ryan back.

Jack picked up his sword while they were distracted and cut Ryan's back. He was unable to inflicted anymore pain to Ryan because Ray was able to quickly take Ryan's sword from his hands and stab Jack in the stomach. 

While all this was happening Geoff ran to tell the people that run the tournaments that the Gents surrender. Michael and Gavin stood there not knowing what to do. 

Paramedics soon appeared in the ring. They tended to Ryan's and Jack's wounds. They rushed Jack to the hospital and Ryan they bandaged in the ring.

"TEAM GENTS SURRENDERED! TEAM LADS WINS!" The announcer said. People cheered some booed, but mostly cheered.

Jack died in the hospital a few hours later from to much blood loss. Geoff and Ryan were hurt a little, Geoff more than Ryan. He was there team mate and good friend. Ray and the rest of Team Lads weren't phased. Killing his an occupational hazard. They have done it before and they are sure they will do it again. They don't have much of a choice, its part of the game they love to play, its part of the game they strive to beat, the game is part of them.

As the years went on Michael finally proposed to Gavin and are now married. Ryan and Ray moved in together and are living happily. Geoff is glad he can now live with his wife, they even had a child together, her name is Shannon. As for Team Lads, they still compete. Although they don't have to because they beat the game already. Team Lads has a special place on the leader bored that can not be removed. Under Team Lads, is Team Gents they are the first teams in over two hundred maybe more years to be placed there. That battle was written down in history books and everything that could be written out of it was. Kids story, novels, movies, TV shows, everything. The five men shouldn't be happier. They got there happy ever after.
