Midnight: Now, take your places everyone!

As the roaring sport festival first course, the Obstacle course was about to begin, Sora took his spot at the very back of the area. He had noticed that the gate was not big enough to fit all the contestant. And since it's a race, he knew that it will be a huge struggle just to get out of those gates. He looked up and around the podium and he finally spotted his family and his Dad. Seeing him there made Sora's resolved heighten even further.

Sora(mind): I'll make you acknowledge me. No matter what, you stupid old man.

Sora looked up ahead and saw the light are starting to turned off. Once the third light is off, then the race will begin. And once the final light turns off, the race finally.

Midnight: Start!

Present Mic: Okay, here's the play-by-play! Are you ready to do the commentary, Mummy Men?

Aizawa: You're the one who forced us to come.

Kakashi: Since we're here already, we'll give it our best.

Present Mic: Let's get started right away, Mummy Men. What should we pay attention to in the early stages?

Aizawa: This part right now.

Kakashi: The entrance gate.

The race immediately begins and all the participants other than Sora struggle to exit through the stadium door. They get packed into a mob by the narrow corridor as their first obstacle. Sora still had yet to start running since he knew this would happen.

Sora(mind): Just like I thought. Everyone's struggling at the entrance. And it looks like I'm not the only one that noticed.

Shoto: Sorry, but...

Shoto realizes this and makes his move by freezing the pathway and racing ahead of all the others. Seeing this Sora finally started to made his way to the entrance and before he made his way through the pack of students, he was already activating his clones.

Sora: Shadow Clone.

Sora created one clone and the two of them started running. Once they were near the pack of students, Sora's clone and Sora himself grabbed each others hands and the clone started to spin him around.

C. Sora: Fly!

After gaining the momentum, Sora's clone threw him above the pack of students and he was immediately behind Shoto's tails.

Sora: Too naive Todoroki!

Katsuki: Take that!

Sarada: It would be rude to ignore us!

Momo: We won't go down that easily!

Even though many contestants are frozen in place, Sora, Katsuki, Sarada, Momo, Yuga, and Eijiro avoid the ice and stay on Shoto's back. Many other students remain close behind them and Shoto's surprised to see that so many were able to avoid his attack.

Katsuki: I won't let you get away so easily! You half-and-half bastard!

Ojiro: You got me with that once. You won't get me again!

Mina: Woah, that was close!

Shoto: More people outside of Class A were able to dodge that than I expected...

Sora: Don't ignore me!

Sarada: I'm right behind you!

Shoto looked back and saw Sora and Sarada right behind him gaining momentum. It was as expected as the top two fastest in the class. Currently Shoto is in the lead led behind by Sarada as second place and Sora as third place. Then suddenly the three of them felt a presence from behind to see Minoru leaping off his Grape Balls.

Mineta: I've outwitted you guys, Sora, Sarada, Todoroki! How pathetic! Now take this Sarada! My special attack!

Sarada: Your the worst human being in the world!

Mineta: Gra—

Minoru manages to reach Sarada and tries to attack her by planting his sticky Grape Balls on Sarada's back to latch on her, but Sarada knew Minoru was about to do something pervert, but before he could, he was knocked away by a villain bot.

Sora: ?!

Mineta: Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Izuku: Mineta!

Many villain bots suddenly reveal themselves as the second obstacle, blocking the path of the participants.

Villain Bot: Targets found... Lots!!

Present: Obstacles have shown up suddenly! Starting with... the first barrier! Robo Inferno!

Kaminari: Aren't those the zero-point villains from the entrance exams?

Kirishima: This is what they meant by obstacles?!

Sero: There are too many! I can't get through!

Shoto: So this is what they used in the general entrance exam?

Momo: I wonder where they got the money for it?

Some of the villain bots are the Zero-point robots from the U.A. Entrance Exams that cause many students to panic, but not Sora, Sarada and Shoto.

Todoroki: If they went through all this trouble, I wish they would've prepared something better. Since my stupid old man is watching.

Shoto remains calm and expresses his desire to face a more difficult obstacle and proceeds to freeze an entire giant villain bot solid with ease. Shoto immobilizes the giant robot off balance and runs underneath it before it falls into the path of the remaining students.

Present Mic: Todoroki from Class 1-A! Amazing! He attacked and defended in one hit! How elegant! He's the first one through! It's you know, practically unfair!

Aizawa: His actions are logical and strategic.

Kakashi: Offense is also the best defense.

Present Mic: As expected of someone who got in through recommendations! He'd never fought them before, but those Robo Infernos couldn't get past his elite moves!

Sora: He freeze the entire thing!

Sarada: And in a blink of an eye. But it's not stable!

Just like Sora and Sarada had predicted, the Zero-point Villain Bot fall down blocking their path. Shoto Todoroki has gained an early lead in the Obstacle Race after freezing a giant Zero-Point Villain and leaving it to collapse in on itself, creating a blockade for the other competitors.

Sora: But—

Sarada: But—

They both smirk.

Sora and Sarada: Something like these won't slow me down!

But something like these are not enough to stopped them. Sora and Sarada ran off heading towards two other Zero-point Bot. Sarada jumped up into the air went straight into the Bot's head. The villain bot was on the attack, but Sarada's strength is beyond immeasurable.

Sarada: CHA-NARA!!

With a single punch on its face, the Villain bot was turned into smithereens. She immediately resume running catching up to Shoto as the runner up. The same goes for Sora who was lacking behind in speed compared to Sarada. He went straight under the Villain bot. He saw the villain bot raised its legs planning to squash him. Sora however didn't panicked. He gathered an enormous amount of wind on the palm of his hand.

Sora: Futon:Toppa!(Wind style: Breakthrough)

Just when the villain bot was about to squash Sora completely, it was instead sent flying up into the sky. And it was no mean feat, since the bot was sent 10 meters up into the sky. Sora ignored the rest and sped up trying to catch behind to Shoto and Sarada who were already up ahead of him. Then behind his back there was a loud crash, but Sora didn't bother to look back since it was probably the villain bot that he had sent flying a second ago crashing down behind him.

Present Mic: Another two student from Class 1-A has passed through the first obstacle. Class 1-A Sarada Uchiha smashed through with her unbelievable strength! And Class 1-A Sora Uzumaki sent the bot into flying like birds! Now they're right on Todoroki's tail!

On his back, Eijiro and Tetsutetsu get trapped underneath the frozen robot but break out using their similar defensive Quirks. Eijiro is disheartened to learn Tetsutetsu's Quirk is almost the same as his own.

Katsuki: Like I'd let you get ahead of me! Spike! Uchiha bastard!

Present Mic: Class 1-A's Bakugo! Since the bottom's blocked, he goes overhead! Clever!

Sero: You seem like you'd be the type to plow straight through, but you can go around when you need to, huh?

Tokoyami: I'm going to hitch a ride!

Katsuki uses his explosions to move around in the air and rocket over the remaining robots, and is quickly followed by Hanta Sero and Fumikage Tokoyami, each using their own Quirks: Tape and Dark Shadow, respectively.

All Might: I know Young Uchiha inherited Cherry Blossoms and Sannin strength. But that was remarkable!

All Might was in awe when he was saw Sarada's strength. It reminded him of a certain Master and Student who both are the top Hero when it comes to Rescue. He felt like another monstrous woman had appeared.

Naruto: Since when his Wind could be that powerful?

Hinata: Since a year ago when he started training with Sasuke. While you're busy with work everytime.

Himawari: Woah! Big Bro and Big Sis Sarada is amazing!

Meanwhile, Naruto was impressed by Sora's growth. And it was just the beginning, since the Sport Festival had just begun. Hearing what Hinata had to say, reminded once again how bad he acted as a Father to Sora which made him feel guilty. Himawari on the other hand was just enjoying the show that her older brother had displayed.

Snipe: As expected, most of the group that's gone ahead is from Class A.

All Might: Class B and the other course aren't bad either! It's just—

Aizawa:...Class A doesn't spend a lot of time standing around.

Kakashi: Those who experienced firsthand that world above them through the incident at USJ... Those who had fear planted in their hearts... Those who dealt with it and pulled through... They all used that experience to drown out their hesitation.

Watching from the stands, Pro-Hero, Snipe observes that most of the race leaders are from Class 1-A. Eraser Head and White Fang comments that the class had grown since the attack on U.S.J., and have learned not to hesitate. Many students from the class fight their way through the villain robots, including Izuku, who uses a plate from the debris created when Shoto first destroyed the Zero-Point villain to slash through one that was targeting him. All the remaining Zero-Point villains are taken down by Momo, who creates a cannon to shoot them down.

Present Mic: Hey, hey! The first barrier's a piece of cake? Then what about the second? If you fall, you're out! If you don't wanna fall, then crawl! It's "The Fall"!

Sora: Oi, oi! How deep is that?

The next obstacle is The Fall: a canyon that can only be navigated by walking along tightropes. Sora couldn't see just how deep the canyon goes. But as usual, something like these is not enough to slow him down. Instead of walking through those tightrope, Sora instead chose to dive down the canyon surprising everyone.

Sarada: Oi, Sora!

Present Mic: What's this?! Class 1-A Sora Uzumaki has decided to fall on purpose! Is he giving up?

The students, the spectators, the other Heroes were clearly stunned by Sora's actions. If you fall then you were eliminated. Just when they all thought Sora was eliminated...

*Poof*

Multiple Sora started to appear from bellow. They were holding onto one another making themselves look like a man bridge. While the real Sora was on top of his own clones running as fast as possible.

Present Mic: Oh looks like we were wrong! What a way to use cloning Quirk!

With this Sora didn't need to navigate the fastest route through those tightropes and made his way near the end of the second obstacle course. Seeing that Sora was already closing on Shoto, Sarada couldn't help but smirk. As Sora's childhood friend, she couldn't let herself fall behind. So instead she gathered electricity on the palm of her feat to stabilize her footing and she started to run on those tightrope with impressive speed.

Sarada: I won't lose!

Present Mic: A lot of different people are working hard for their chance, huh, Eraser Head, White Fang?

Aizawa and Kakashi: What are you idiots stopping for?

The spectators exploded in shouts as the beam of light racing through the canyon. A Flash of speed. A roaring sprint that tore through the wind. Black eye looking straight ahead, leaving behind even their own gleam as she accelerated closing on on the two leading runners. Shoto is the first to clear the fall, followed up by Sora, than not even 10 seconds have passed but Sarada had also cleared up, and Katsuki is quickly closing the distance between them.

Present Mic: And now, the leader of the pack is easily getting through first! Right now we have Shoto Todoroki from Class 1-A in first place! Led by Sora Uzumaki from Class 1-A in Second Place! Third place led by Sarada Uchiha from Class 1-A!

Sora: It would be bad if you thought you could outrun me, Todoroki!

Sarada: If you're thinking of outrunning, I won't lose when it comes to speed!

Shoto: I won't let either of you pass me!

*Boom*

Sora, Sarada, Shoto: ?

The trio in the lead look back to see Katsuki already catching up to them as well. Another person has finally appeared on the lead of the running group.

Sora: Katsu!

Sarada: Firecracker!

Katsuki: Damn it!

Despite his lead, Shoto is put at a disadvantage when he reaches the final obstacle: The Mine Field.

Present Mic: And now, we've quickly arrived at the final barrier! The reality is... that it's a minefield! It's set up so you can tell where the mines are if you look carefully! So you have to exploit your eyes and legs! By the way, these landmines are for games, so they're not that powerful, but they're loud and flashy enough to make you wet your pants!

Aizawa and Kakashi: That depends on the person.

Shoto has to trek carefully through the field and is eventually caught up to by Sora, who is still using his Quirk to skid through the area so his legs are not press on the ground to press those landmines.

Sora: Finally caught up to you, Todoroki!

Shoto: Tch!

Present Mic: And now, we've got someone new in the lead! Rejoice, mass media! It's the kind of development you guys love!

The two of them started to battle for first place. But it wasn't long before the duo battle turned into a trio battle since they could sensed a spark and heard footsteps from behind. They all saw Sarada rushing towards them at high speed. She was running so fast that the landmines are not fast enough to detonate before Sarada went passed them.

Sarada: Don't expect me to fall behind! CHA-NARA!!!

*BOOM*

Sora and Shoto: Guh!

Sarada had detonated a bunch of landmines near Sora and Shoto to obstruct their vision and slowed down their movements. However, the duo simply won't back down as they pressed onward. The duo battle for first place is now a trio battle.

Present Mic: And another one has reached the lead! It's a battle of trio! And that's not all!

Katsuki: This doesn't affect me! Bastard, don't declare war on the wrong person! It's not Spike you should be worried about! It's me!

Katsuki catches Sora, Sarada, and Shoto and tries to blast them with an explosion. Katsuki remains irritated that Shoto bothered to challenge Sora and not him, and the four of them start to battle for first place.

Present Mic: Hey, hey, hey, the rest of the pack is also speeding up! However! Even as they push and pull at each other, can the quartet at the top remain in the lead?

The battle of 4 people in the lead is intense. Shoto tried to freeze Katsuki's right arm, but the firecracker push aside and tried to sent an explosive towards the blond hair boy.

Sarada was aiming multiple lightning ball towards the other trio while running at the same time trying to escape a freezing blow from Shoto.

Sora on the other hand was trying his best to avoid an explosion and sparks of lightning heading towards him while also pushing the other trio with his Gale Palm.

Just as the quartet was busy at the lead. They suddenly heard a huge explosion far bigger than the usual explosion from the very back of the minefield. Not only that, they could also felt the gush of wind from the explosion which made them halt their assault. It's not just them, every student that was already up ahead on the minefield all stopped to see the explosion on the back making a temporary halt on the minefield.

Sora, Sarada, Shoto, and Katsuki: ?!

Present Mic: There's a huge explosion at the back?! What's with that force?!

Sora: What the?!

From within the smoke, the quartet saw a certain broccoli hair boy flying towards them riding a metal arms on his hands.

Present Mic: Was it an accident or did he do it on purpose? Class A's Midoriya is in hot pursuit with that blast!

On Izuku's end, having received inspiration from Katsuki wielding his Quirk to fly, Izuku develops a plan to take first place after reaching the Mine Field. He digs up the mines using the shard of metal he picked up earlier and piles them up. Then, protecting himself with the metal, he jumps on the mines and the explosion propels him ahead of Sora, Sarada, Katsuki and Shoto, which surprises all four of them.

Present Mic: And now he's taken the lead!

Present Mic's shout pierced the sky. Thunderous cheers filled the arena.

Katsuki: Deku! Don't go ahead of me!

Katsuki started using his explosion to fly himself chasing towards Izuku.

Sarada: He uses the landmine to propel himself forwards!

Sarada once again activated her lightning on her legs to speed blitzed through the minefield.

Sora: This is Izuku we're talking about! He always finds a way!

Sora on the other hand created two clones and activated Gale Palm: Fusha Stream to propel himself forwards with a single shot of gust of wind as he also sped forward.

Shoto: This'll give those in the back a path... but I don't have time to worry about what's behind me!

Shoto created a path of ice to cover the landmines and he too went after Izuku.

Present Mic: The 4 formerly in the lead have stopped trying to slow each other down and chasing after Midoriya! Now that they have a common enemy, they've stopped fighting! The fight's not over yet, though!

Aizawa and Kakashi: What are you saying?

Izuku gains the lead for a moment, but Sora, Sarada, Katsuki and Shoto quickly catch up as Izuku starts to lose momentum. However, before he lands, Izuku places himself on both of Sora and Katsuki's backs and detonates the mines in front of by striking the metal shard on the ground.

Sora, Sarada, Katsuki, Shoto: Guh!

Present Mic: Midoriya swiftly blocks those behind him! Would you believe it? He cleared the minefield in an instant!

Because of what Izuku had done, Sora, Sarada, Katsuki, and Shoto were momentarily stunned by the sudden explosion of landmines near them. After gaining their momentum back, the quartet went and chase after Izuku. The first out from the smoke was Sora, followed by Sarada, then Shoto, then Katsuki.

Sora: Got us there, Izuku!

Sarada: Come on!

Shoto: Guh!

Katsuki: Tch!

Present Mic: Eraser Head, your class is amazing! What're you teaching them?!

Aizawa: I didn't do anything. They got each other fired up on their own.

Present Mic: U.A. Sport festival, first year stage! Who could've predicted the developments at the beginning or this conclusion? Right now the first person back in the stadium is that man... Izuku Midoriya's made a huge splash!

Sadly for the 4 who were previously on the lead, the explosion allows Izuku to launch past his competition and run to cross the finish line, placing first. Sora got second place, Sarada as third place, Shoto and Katsuki follow close behind, placing fourth and fifth respectively. Soon after, the remaining thirty seven qualifiers arrive back in the arena.

Himawari: Ah... Big Brother got second!

Hinata: Still... That was amazing! Izuku just got better tricks this time.

Naruto:...

Himawari was slightly depressed that Sora had gotten second place instead of first. Hinata on the other hand was amazed by Sora's performance. Naruto on the other hand was still looking towards Sora who was catching his breath.

Naruto(mind): He still got long ways to go.

Sora looked up towards the podium looking straight at his Dad with the latter staring back at him. Sora raised his hand forming them into a fist telling him that he will win no matter what.

Sora(mind): I vow to win, Old man!

Midnight: The first game of the first-year stage is finally over. Now, take a look at the results!

They all looked at the results and saw 42 people had passed the first stage.

Midnight: The top 42 made it through to the next round. It's unfortunate, but don't worry even if you didn't make it! We've prepared other chances for you to shine. The real competition begins next! The press cavalry'll be all over it! Give it your all!

The screen then changes to the randomizer and then begin to spin.

Midnight: Now then, here is the second game. I already know what it is, but what could it be? What could it be? I just said it, and now here it is...

The screen then stopped revealing the second event: The Cavalry Battle.

Kaminari: A cavalry battle? I'm bad at those...

Tsuyu: It's not an individual event, so I wonder hot it'll work...

Midnight: Let me explain. The participants can form teams of two to four people as they wish. It's basically the same as a regular cavalry battle, but the one thing that's different is... based on the results of the last game, each person has been assigned a point value.

Sato: A point based system like the entrance exam, huh? That's easy to understand.

Ochako: In other words, each team is worth different points depending on who's on the team!

Mina: I see!

Midnight then looked at everyone annoyed.

Midnight: You guys don't hold back even though I'm talking, huh?! Yes, That's right! And the points assigned go up by five starting from the bottom. So 42nd place gets five points and 41st gets ten points!

Izuku was holding his breath when Midnight announced the first place.

Midnight: And the point value assigned to first place is...ten million!

Izuku was immediately frozen in place like a stone statue.

Izuku: T-Ten million?!

Shinso(mind): Ten million, huh?

Hatsume(mind): In other words, if you take down the first place player's team...

All the contestants eyes are now locked on Izuku.

Everyone(mind):...you can stand at the top no matter what place you're in!

Midnight: That's right. It's survival of the fittest, with a chance for those at the bottom to overthrow the top!

Izuku, who is first place, is worth ten million points; as the other students figure out that all they need to do to win is take him down, Izuku realizes that he has become a massive target for the other contestants.
